They were still hot and we really enjoyed our breakfast. We had lunch the day before and their sandwiches are top notch. Not a huge menu but what they do offer and provide is 10 out of 10. The cafe also has a cute little gift-shop with it and it is attached to an Amish grocery store. Worked out perfect for us to pick up a few of our favorite things we can only find from the Amish as well as enjoy a meal. I got a little nervous. There are types of "christians" who show only hate and contempt towards the LGBT+ community. I began having reservations about my choice in choosing this site unseen. The owner and I had a lively discussion about coffee and his very unique blend and his mission trips to Columbia. It was quite easy to tap into the positive and welcoming vibes if the place. My date and I ended up staying for a nice visit, even venturing to Kennedy's Bakery. We did end our stay when the Christian rock started though, just not our thing. It was a good reminder for me not to judge a book by its cover, and lump all christians and the same opinion I have of them.
