Beer mimosa
Erin Q.

Loved that they have an outdoor patio that is dog friendly! My husband went in and sent me a pic of the menu. It said mimosa so I happily ordered one since I saw they had wine and cider too. To my surprise-it was a beer mimosa and not what I was expecting. It did not say that on the pic I got, but I drank it anyways. My husband enjoyed his beer and they even gave us a bowl of water for our dog. It looked like a great place to hang out inside as well! It looks they have room outside to possibly fence in an area as a mini dog park. A great stop on our camping trip!

I want this !!

What a cool hidden brewing gem. Off the beaten path in Angola in a industrial park lies this brewery. While we here we got a flight of brews to sample the awesome beers. We got to meet the master brewer who was in the tasting g room. I liked the undaunted single ipa. Kim liked the harvester blond ale. This is a great place to sample some great beers and get some to go. The kitchen with be open soon.

Nice specials, live music, good times.

Great little place, very comfortable setting with a decent selection. My favorite so far is Undaunted. Very personable staff, we arrived early in the afternoon so David sat and chatted with us awhile. He definitely knows his beer. We will definitely be back, this is probably going to be our regular spot in Angola.

Not open. Out of business I presume. Phone out of order and new business at this location.

Very nice brewery to visit. Friendly bartender and good beer. Seemed a bit small inside, but I enjoyed the intimacy

There are lots of interesting interior designs that make you feel at home. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. They did a good job explaining the menu to a first timer. When you enter you grab a menu from a stand - it is well signed but impersonal. There is signage that directs you to order at the bar. More impersonal impressions. The food menu has a decent variety to choose from. The beer menu is rather large. The non beer alcoholic selections were very thin. On this occasion they were out of two of the three sangria selections. The food was disappointing. The chips and cheese appetizer is large with lots of chips. The salsa is sweet and tasty. We thought it tasted a lot like Picante brand. The cheese was thin and dry and just kind of there. The chips were sprinkled with a dry rub which added some needed flavor and salty pop. Overall...I wouldn't recommend. The peach sangria wine was very good. A delicious sweet taste. Very refreshing. Great for a warm summer evening - definitely recommend! My wife had the Ole Ford Pita and really liked it. The pickles that come with this dish were very tasty. They had a nice crisp texture and vinegar bite. They do have a bit of a spicy kick so beware! The chicken quesadillas was just there. The salsa was the same as what came with the chips & cheese. A nice sweet and cool taste. Mildly spicy. The quesadilla was kinda small for $10. There were a small amount of chicken chunks which were moist and tender - but no discernible seasoning. The Cole slaw side was nice. Large pieces of cabbage with a mild mayo taste. This has a nice cool and refreshing taste on a hot evening. The baked beans were okay. They tasted a lot like Walmart baked beans out of a can - which I like. Just nothing special here.

What gearhead wouldn't love a car/shop themed brewery?... Hop Rod DIPA didn't dissapoint - nice hop-forward character with a slight dank nose that is very pleasing. Also tasted Grease Monkey and took home a growler of both. Service and atmosphere are off-the-charts in the Automotive birthplace of Indiana. VERY much worth a stop (or many) and assuming your a gearhead save time to explore NATMUS, ACD, and the other places that make Auburn so special...

Had a tasty flight with a Belgian ale, strawberry ale that were my favorite! Parking is tricky. They have a few spots here and there. The team here asked us to order at the bar before being seated. I don't know if that is their normal process. If it is...it might work well for the restaurants logistics but it creates a less than desirable dinning feel for me. The order takers were very friendly and helpful. They hustled to process the train passengers. The seating area is a large open room. It feels like an old factory turned beer garden. The floors are a nice hardwood. Not much decor or atmosphere in this large room. They did have a singer as entertainment which wasn't the best. For food I started with the potstickers. These weren't your traditional Chinese potsticker. They were over fried and tough. The filling was vegan instead of pork. It didn't work for me and wasn't very tasty. Kinda tough and flavorless. The sweet chili sauce really helped. I also tried the BBQ Mac Burrito. The BBQ was good but not very plentiful. It was a bit hard to find that taste. The Mac & Cheese was nice and creamy. The noodles were soft. Served alone I think they would be fine. Stuffed in a burrito....not a fan of. Please be aware that they don't give free refills on soda. We didn't have table service outside of someone dropping off food. Overall I will give them four stars for opening up special for the train tour. Otherwise I was rather unimpressed with this establishments process and food.

We went on a night where there was live music- the musician did a great job but it was SO loud in the restaurant that we felt like we were yelling to hear each other. So, honestly, we were expecting more from the food. We got the huge pretzel with 3 dips, it was pretty good... definitely enough for four people to share. My friend ordered the chips and salsa and was a bit disappointed to see that they literally just used salsa from a jar. We ordered the pulled pork mac n' cheese, it was "ok"- but seemed super greasy. We also got the pulled pork sandwich, also "ok". Some of the meat was really dry- the french fries seemed previously frozen. The vibe screamed "Everything is fresh and made in house!" But the food didn't taste that way at all. Not somewhere I'd feel the need to go back to.

COOL! As far as the brews? I samples three and they each had their own flavor. Now for the appetizer, the GIANT pretzel. It had three sauces and it was delicious. The pretzel was crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. The pretzel was part of the Comedy tour menu. As we looked around, the regular menu items looked tempting. The hostess and waiter were attentive. We'll go back to try the standard menu items. The Brewery is a win for Coldwater.

It's nearly impossible to get someone to provide a sample and I can't tell if that's a strategy to avoid sampling because they always have employees working and standing. I used to love the store pics but it appears they are doubling down on Indiana distilleries vs sourcing Kentucky distilleries and national distilleries. They do have some old store pics that are slow moving because of the price point. If you're looking for a higher volume bourbon go to Meijer across the street and save $10-$20 a bottle. This is now a novelty store with high price points that now fails to deliver on its value as an experience.
