A friend from out of town & I were planning to visit Two Bandits for a couple of months and were excited to try the food. We went on a night where there was live music- the musician did a great job but it was SO loud in the restaurant that we felt like we were yelling to hear each other. So, honestly, we were expecting more from the food. We got the huge pretzel with 3 dips, it was pretty good... definitely enough for four people to share. My friend ordered the chips and salsa and was a bit disappointed to see that they literally just used salsa from a jar. We ordered the pulled pork mac n' cheese, it was "ok"- but seemed super greasy. We also got the pulled pork sandwich, also "ok". Some of the meat was really dry- the french fries seemed previously frozen. The vibe screamed "Everything is fresh and made in house!" We bought tickets to a comedy show that started at 9. We arrived early to check out the brewery. The decor was unique with vintage motorcycles and a lot of wood and laser cut steel lighting. COOL! As far as the brews? I samples three and they each had their own flavor. Now for the appetizer, the GIANT pretzel. It had three sauces and it was delicious. The pretzel was crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. The pretzel was part of the Comedy tour menu. As we looked around, the regular menu items looked tempting. The hostess and waiter were attentive. We'll go back to try the standard menu items. The Brewery is a win for Coldwater. read more

My daughter was in the Halloween parade so I decided to show up here 45 minutes before the parade to have something to eat. They had live music. Not a whole band. We were looking for a place to eat while driving through Coldwater, and stumbled on 2BB. They were out of duck. Sad! I really wanted to try it. But I had the Monster fish sandwich instead. I subbed the butter dill fries for cole slaw mostly because I had seen the monster fish on someone's plate and knew the fries would be too much food for me. I found the whole shebang to be a lot of food but it was tasty for deep-fried fish. They had a nice tartar sauce. The cole slaw was excellent once I added malt vinegar. The ambiance was pleasant for a brewery mid-day, between Christmas and New Years Day. We weren't expecting a crowd but it looked like a great setup for a restaurant with serious intentions! Finally got in here! Great beer! Tried probably almost everything on the beer list, and my hands down favorite was the peach wheat, closely followed by the 007 hazy IPA. The service was great, very friendly and super helpful when picking beers. The menu looked good, but I had looked at the dinner menu ahead of time and got excited by some of the dinner options, which weren't offered for lunch. There was a good variety of sandwiches and stuff on the lunch menu. Everything was clean and the ambiance was nice, you can see where the beer is being brewed from the dining area. read more

While I usually get pretty serious about the beers, what was truly interesting about Two Bandits was the food. Huge selection of game and other different tastes. We didn't get too crazy, but opted for Walleye. Perfect. The dish was fried, but not coated in batter. Just enough breading to let the fish come through. Really impressed. Service was attentive and my flight of pales was good, but a little less better than I would have liked. Pretzel appetizer was as big an LP and the place was clean and relaxed. read more

Oh my gosh!!!! was a joke & very expensive lesson learned!! $125 for 2 adults & 2 kids it was a first time visited with my family what a disappointment!!!! my son ordered what was supposed to be 14 oz (market price) rib eye!! $38 (med rare) definitely not a rib eye & definitely not med rare at best was a frozen piece of some sort of beef or beef roast sliced only fat on end 1 nothing not fat throughout like most ribeyes & no seasoning flavor & was served w a butter knife!! oh my!! & i asked before he cut into the bloody mess for some steak sauce & or a steak knife & was told nope on both! I have worked in many fancy restaurants in my time! even know what it was!! what a joke!' #1 after a 45 min wait for our dinner it was so rare! waitress brought us another drink & i had to ask her what is this she didn't even ck on us! i said 1st of all we ordered med rare this sort of beef all she said is ill tk bk to cook after we were almost done w our food they brought bk after i kept looking at kitchen & manage came over said well rare is bloody that is is all he said i said we didn't order it rare!! med rare which is perfect for a rib eye lol it was the worst piece of beef i have ever seen! definitely not a rib eye!! i was waiting for manager or waitress to return they never came back bc i would of returned that for sure!but after the crucial waiting we at that time were starving!!! was an awful experience! also not only that but my husband had an awful sandwich with raw mushrooms & onions was supposed to be a truffle melt wasn't any cheese at all that would of also went bk! ! would never recommend anything other then the pork /mac which which i had or an appetizer my sons onion rings that went w his steak was awful too he didnt even hardly eat anything so disappointed!! we left for over $125 for what! bad all around experience!! stay clear-of this food.., all i can say if you go...just drink the beer!! read more

Great stop in downtown Coldwater!! I love ordering beer flights as I can't pick just one to try. For the first time I loved all four selections!! I have never had beer that had so much flavor. The beer gets 5 stars all day!! The husband and I enjoyed dinner there, dinner was solid but not a wow. We had the breadsticks appetizer, poutine flatbread, and cod tacos. All meal items were decent but not amazing. The salsa was almost katchup in consistency and the flavors could use a bit more umpf. Service was fantastic with one exception. We planned on purchasing a couple 4-packs to go, however the waiter dropped our check without asking if we needed anything else (dessert?). If you are in town and enjoy beer definitely recommend stopping!! read more

First time visit to this first brewery in Coldwater Michigan. Welcome to this great new company to the community. The staff is great. The restaurant and bar are completely renovated into a comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated space. The restrooms have a Marvel super hero theme. They have 12 taps of their own brew to choose from. Although we only ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was great, the food that we saw other patrons eating looked very good. So if your in the Coldwater area looking for a good meal, good beer, and great service, then stop at Two bandits on the main drag in Coldwater Michigan. read more

First time at the restaurant and the hostess told us it was a 20 minutes wait. There was 6 tables open. After 30 minutes there was 12 tables open. It was 45 minutes we were finally seated. Upon sitting down the waitress told us they were out of gator, duck and pull pork. We ordered the canned nachos which has pulled pork on it. When the nachos came out with pulled pork on it. I think they cleaned the floors with grease. I almost fell because they are slippery. read more

We have always enjoyed the beer and food here. Howver, the upside down patty melt was really pretty bad! About 90 perfne bread with a very small greyish patty inside. Very fee mushrooms and since no cheese inside it was so dry. Basically didn't eat it. My husband had the fish sandwich which was great! read more

Relaxing small brewery. Excellent beer and cider. Recommend Zed is Dead as a starter or ask for a flight. Staff is prompt and friendly. I never understood when customers get upset when the staff and kitchen are slammed. Patience! Food choices are unique but taste can be uneven. Usually great but sometimes meh. I had high hopes for Two Bandits as I think it has lots of potential. My wife and I decided to try this place after getting to the lake on a Friday night. When we arrived there were open seats at the bar so that's where we sat. Initially, we were a little put off by the loud music, but we figured we'd go with the flow. The bar tender was friendly, but seemed more concerned with washing glasses than serving customers. Once we got our beers they were just "fine." We ordered the Brussels Sprouts appetizer to share. For the main course I wanted the duck, but it sold out as I was ordering, so I ordered the wild boar ribs with onion rings and mac and cheese. My wife got the walleye dinner. The Brussels sprouts could have used a bit more balsamic vinegar, and the pork belly on them was a bit over done. We watched out dinners sit on the ready window for at least 10 minutes. Once we got our dinners, which took much longer than expected, I was surprised how small of a portion of ribs came with it. For $28 I expected a bit more. Everything else for both of our meals was pretty much middle of the road. The $80 bill that came with the meal had a $2 up charge for the onion rings which was never mentioned anywhere. The whole experience had us feeling a bit underwhelmed. If I could give 2.5 stars I would. I truly wanted this place to be awesome because it has a similar vibe to one of our favorite places back home, it just needs a bit more work. read more

Visiting family and first time at new Coldwater Brewpub. Beer was good, had a flight and then pint of a very nice pale ale. My wife had Catalina salad and I had Duck Kebobs. Both were excellent. They have non-deep fried vegetables! Will be back. read more
