Right on the entrance there was an extremely rude bouncer, who screwed our mood so much that we just turned and left for good. Service is better at the public toilets in the subway all around Prague than at this place. Moreover, not long before my friend had come there and lost her wallet, one of the staff found it and confirmed it on the phone but when she came to pick it up they just did not return it to her, commenting it "it was not yours". Apparently, there were a lot of the same guess black wallets with her documents inside lost that night. Another friend was robed there. Thus, if you want to be robed, be treated as a piece of something and pay for this, come to M1.

I was pretty sober, by myself, and at least 10 years older than anyone inside. I sat down at the bar on a tiny stool... I think they were hearts and ordered a drink from a bartender wearing a pool floatie. The place has a fun party scene going on and it's somewhere I probably would have stayed all night partying fifteen years ago. This time around, I was glad to see my friend texted with the bar I was meeting him at so I finished my drink and slipped out.

Because, as we say in Vinohrady or Žižkov: If you don´t know where to go at 2am, just go to Akropolis, because there is always someone :-) OK, first of all concerts and theatre performancies. Acoustic is pretty good. It´s not huge but still. There can be around 250 sitting people for a theatre performance and 1000 standing for a concert. Mainly not so known bands and theatre groups play here but there are from time to time some famous and known ones. Club is divided into more rooms. And there are different music styles in each of them. Plus there are some "quiet" places. There two bars but one is only for coctails and shots. The other one has also beer. Restaurant is kind an average. It´s usually very smokey so get ready for it or sit outside. Yes, they have a garden. On the sidewalk next to the street, but the street is not so busy, so it doesn´t matter. Meals are ok. Beer is from Pilsen. So I would definitely recommend this place for its cultural events but not really for a gastronomical experience.

In the upper part is another small room with another bar and by the entrance is coat check. I don´t understand why is this place such a big deal. OK, the space is big enough but otherwise it seems like any another dance club. Coctails are more or less average. Choice of drinks is also kind the same like anywhere else. I don´t know. Anyway, it´s a place which wont dissapoint you but also wont dazzle. But I guess that nothing will really bother you when you will stop there later in a night in a drunken mood :-)

There were two small stages open when my boyfriend and I went, one upstairs and one downstairs. You can buy tickets upstairs to enter but make sure you have Crowns because they won't accept card or euros. Both of the stages had their own atmosphere, one was more chilled out techno that you just wanted to sway to and the other stage had a bit more upbeat music. If you're in Prague, you definitely have to come check this place out at least once. It really has such an open, free, and nonjudgmental environment. The crowd was very diverse ranging from old and young people which I thought was really cool. There's also two bars inside, a cafe, and multiple sitting areas where you can just hang out/drink/eat/talk. What makes this club so great is that there really is a place for everyone here. If you want to dance go dance! If you want to take a break and have some food, go get food! I really felt that once I was inside I could be whoever I wanted to be and that's always a beautiful thing.
