This place is CRAZY, but in a CRAZILY AWESOME way. Wow. A friend of mine who grew up in Prague told us to come meet her at one of the most far-away stations in the subway network "for an interesting Sunday night". Interesting it was and absolutely a lot of fun, as well. Cross Club looks like a big garbage dump from a distance and basically is exactly that, as it's all made out of old machines. You can sit outside in the garden, but also go inside in to the labyrinth-like rooms (in quite a couple of them is smoking allowed, bohoo), with electronic music blaring from the speakers. I was told they have live bands every night and at least this Sunday we were lucky. Also lucky enough to exactly catch the last subway back to the city center, but honestly? I wouldn't have minded to stay here and dance a little longer.

So fun! This post-industrial bar, club, art gallery offers something for everyone! Like Burning Man meets urban sprawl. Enjoy exploring the labyrinth and discovering new rooms and music. Most of the decor is welded and wired in amazingly creative ways. Recommend to all.

We came here most unusually to eat. The servers here were nice, most are not speaking english but can deal with broken czech. The interior is interesting, split into rooms, some smoking, some non smoking and they also have a childrens play area. The food was surprisingly good. I have hummus and homemade focaccia garlic bread. Delicious. The hummus was a bit pricy but it was a large portion and very good quality. It came with about 4 homemade wheat tortilla chips which I thought were weird and didn't need to be a part of the hummus but they were easy to get rid of. The focaccia was perfectly baked, super garlicy (if you love garlic you need to get this) and they were great together for dipping. My friend had the veggie burger and said it was alright, but the fries were homemade and also good. Overall I thought the experience here was good. Our server was nice, prompt and the food was good. I would go back here to try out some other food or even to their live music downstairs :-)

Very unique club in Prague (sometimes listed between the cooles clubs in Europe). Don't get too put off by it's underground, industrial and psychadelic look. It is actually very nice place with good food and very complex interior. The big plus is that you can sit outside - so when you get tired of smoke and loud music, feel free to sit at the terace. Most of the times the staff is nice and everyone is friendly and cool. The music spectrum that gets played here is various genres from electronic music to even instrumental music. (some people complain in their reviews about drugs but just walk across Vaclavske Namesti at night, all you see is drug dealers :), I only saw one drug dealer here before and he was in front of the club).

Beautiful decor. Very steampunkish. Getting to the entry stamp was difficult and euro exchange rate was a high price. But other than that, had great selection of local spirits. My first time visit to Prague and this was totally worth it.

I'll never forget the memories we made here. This was a performance/sight seeing tour so not only did our guides give us a history of the area and venues, but we were able to make our own. Not many people can ever say they've played here, especially not many Americans, certainly not from my area, or my background. The fact that we were able to secure the nations top concert hall for a foreign youth symphony was pretty special. I'm also kind of glad to have the 1st English review to really give a completely different perspective (I translated the previously posted reviews). Most Americans are uncultured, untraveled, and to some degree I am too, but without going into too much detail, this is a must for anyone. There are no other halls like this Imperial Concert Hall. Sure Germany has more famous composers, but neither the Opernhaus Dortmund or Konzerthaus have the prestige. You'll often see the Czech Philharmonic playing here. Other halls of this era tend to look more like bank's with the pillars, but the Mendellsohn statue and the ornate interior make this special. The curtains, the everything handcrafted, carved. It has some modern amenities, but has not lost it's old world feel. Compared to more modern halls the acoustics are excellent. The back hallways aren't as small as I'd thought, usually places have small back rooms and staging areas, the lighting is very bright to the performer, but dim to the audience. The seats are pretty comfortable, certainly for an hour or two. The bathrooms have modern amenities and even those are still pretty opulent. You can tell this place was built to stage performances to some high class folks with the coat racks, # of benches and the way the main hallways are designed. When you're on stage performing in a place like this you can almost hear the crowds of hundreds of years applauding you through the ages as you stand in the footsteps of greatness.

We had multiple servers who were so attentive. In addition, there was a pianist on an acoustic piano playing nice music (NOT an electric keyboard w/boom chicka booms). I started with their soup of the day-cauliflower. The picture doesn't do it justice. We each ordered the filet mignon which came with roasted potatoes and a salad. The meat portion was huge and there were plenty of potatoes. To finish I had a crème brûlée, my favorite dessert. It did not disappoint. Overall, it was a lovely dinner and then after we went upstairs to a string concert. A great night.

I got the mini pancake with the berry jam and a cappuccino. The jam on the pancake was tangy and sour and sweet, which elevated the dish. The server that served us was good, but we went around 8:30, and there were only 4 other customers sitting down. We didn't see a server at first or a hostess, so we tried to ask someone that's behind the entrance making coffee if we can just sit down. Let me tell you that she was so rude, as in she didn't even acknowledge our existence and totally stared and turned her head away. For an establishment in the middle of a tourist center open during breakfast hour, maybe have a cup or two of coffee so you don't become so rude. A few days in Prague, and by far, this was the rudest encounter. Everywhere else, they were super nice.
