I bought a dress from here for my wedding. It was a great price and staff was kind. However, they did not exactly deliver on my customized I had asked for. read more

This was easily the best of all other bridal shopping experiences I had while searching for my dream dress. Colleen was so amazing to work with. From the way she listened to my goals, to her checking in before and after my appointment to see if there was anything else I needed. I was so well taken care of and felt like a princess. The entire staff was so sweet and the enthusiasm they expressed at every appointment for my special day made the experience that much more special. Chantilly Place created such a fun and memorable dress buying experience that led to the happiest day of our lives. If you want to have a great wedding dress shopping experience look no further! Chantilly Place will take care of you! We will certainly be recommending Chantilly's to all our family and friends. read more

Chantilly Place - Bridal Near Me - North Chelmsford, Massachusetts

I have had two wonderful experiences at Chantilly Place. From picking my wedding dress to helping my bridesmaids and future mother-in-law pick their dresses, the boutique has made the process smooth and fun. I was a little nervous for the bridal appointment, but Alexis made sure I felt comfortable and I ended up choosing the first dress she selected for me! She really took into account my preferences that I sent before the appointment, which made the whole experience stress-free. Can't recommend this boutique enough! read more

I'm surprised to see so many 5-star reviews for Chantilly Place. My experience there was mediocre at best. I felt like the salesperson had a number of dresses she was set on showing me and didn't consider what I asked for or pivot once I provided feedback on the dresses I tried on. She also repeatedly told me I was cutting it close with my timeline. My wedding is 9 months away and no other store was concerned about this. (I ended up buying my dress at a different store the following day and it's due to arrive in 5 months.) When I finally tried on a dress I liked, she immediately asked if I was going to buy it. It felt like they were trying to push a sale and showed me a bunch of unflattering dresses to make the one dress look better than it did. read more

After having a horrible experience at another bridal place, it was such a comfort walking into Chantilly and Colleen being so knowledgeable, good humored, and positive. She really listed to what I was looking for and made me feel amazing the whole time. read more

If I could give Chantilly Place 100 Stars I would! My sister purchased her dress from here 10 years ago, and told me she had an amazing experience. I knew I had to go and see it for myself. My sister couldn't have been more right! Chantilly Place gives you the warmest welcome and makes the experience a lifetime memory. I'm so thankful for Alexis and her guidance and help-she was the best! read more

Wedding dress shopping can be quite daunting but the minute I walked in, I felt welcomed immediately by the staff. I had been to another bridal shop where I felt like a burden. I knew Chantilly was THE place! Alexis worked with me and I cannot say enough kind things about her. She was present, engaging and so personable, she made me feel like any bride should feel while searching for their dress. I've already recommended Chantilly to others and will continue to! Thank you so much for this great experience!! read more

I got my wedding dress from here back in September, and it was such an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a friendly face and felt at ease the entire time. They really listen to what you want and how you feel about the dresses, and pulled the perfect dress for me. I would recommended this place to any bride who is looking for a personal experience when looking for their wedding dress!! read more

I can not recommend Chantilly Place enough! I went in on a Sunday with my family and we had the entire place to ourselves. I had an absolute place trying in dressed while my family sipped on champagne. My bridal consultant knew exactly what i wanted before I even knew. I went in with a specific silhouette in mine, but when it wasn't working, my consultant pulled a completely different dress and it ended up being PERFECT! My dress came in the promised 4-6 months and I cannot wait to get married in it! read more

I found the wedding dress of my dreams at Chantilly Place and the whole staff was wonderful. They made me feel confident and secure and helped me research a veil I was hoping to purchase. I highly recommend Chantilly Place for your bridal needs! read more

I had a fantastic experience shopping at Chantilly Place! Alexis was the best bridal consultant I could have asked for. She listened to my feedback and even went as far as bringing in a dress that they didn't currently carry so that I could truly see all of my options. I found the PERFECT dress and I could not be happier. I Highly recommend shopping at Chantilly Place! read more

I had my appointment with Amy on 2/23/20. She was excellent. She was patient and listened to all of my requests, answered all of our questions, etc. She ended up finding me a gown that is just so perfect. It wasn't something I may have picked out myself on my own, so I am so grateful to have her help and perspective. She also happily helped my girlfriends open a few bottles of bubbly we brought. The shop is beautiful, they have a great selection. I cannot wait for my dress to come in! It's a really fantastic local business I am happy to support. read more

Chantilly's was the first place I went to try on dresses so you can imagine my excitement was through the roof. Unfortunately, I felt rushed the entire time and I also felt as if I was annoying the woman helping me. The place is nice and clean but I think they need a better system. When I booked my appointment the woman only asked me for my first name and said "ok, see you then". I thought it was a little rude and I truly hated how she asked my budget in front of my bridal party. Although I didn't have a great experience I'm glad I went because it made me appreciate my next appointment elsewhere that much more!! read more

This place is NOT "Closed" Sooo, I checked this place out before meeting up with my friend some tapas and drinks It's located in the increasingly cute and growing downtown Lowell situated on a street corner. I enjoyed looking through their selection of wedding dresses. All in reasonable price range averaging around 1200. I actually went in there to just look at designs and fabrics in prep for my making of my dress :) I actually immediately told the lady at the store that I am just browsing as I plan on making my dress. She was soooo nice and encouraging, and had kept saying it's better to make your own. So that definitely boosted me up! :) The selection was mostly from Jasmine, Casablanca, and Maggie Sottero ... and their own label that the prior owner designs and seamstresses make on location. My favorites ended up being their own label! Then I browsed into the bridesmaids and mother of the brides dresses, and selection had a lot from Alfred Angelo and Bill Levkoff. Pretty good selection there too. Upstairs or on the main level, there is prom dresses and other special occasion dresses that I was not able to look with the short time I had. I definitely will have to browse again another day! They are a "knot pick" for past few years too ... pretty neat! They also have designed dresses for Miss Americas, Miss USAs etc. If you also have a dress envisioned, they can make it happen! That will be my last resort if making my dress is not a success :D read more

I'm a lifelong resident of Lowell, and try to be a supporter of the downtown businesses. It's killing me not to be able to recommend Chantilly Place to other area brides. I purchased my bridal gown at the now defunct Priscilla of Boston, but still need a veil, shoes, mother of the bride dress, and other accessories. Great chance to patronize Lowell's very own "high-end" bridal salon right? If only I were given the chance. Instead, I was greeted with a piece of loose leaf taped to the door. Blue high-lighter informed me to go downstairs for a salesperson. Ok, people get busy, so downstairs I go. I enter into the salon area and hear women talking very loudly about some personal issues while doing alterations. I say hello, but am ignored. In turn I do my best to ignore the litany of complaints about an ex-husband/boyfriend/whatever. I continue to peruse the selection of veils while waiting for the mythical salesperson to appear. Nothing. After five or more awkward minutes I decided to head out. I poked my head into the alterations area to let them know it seems like the salesperson had left. After being told to hold on, the salesperson finally graces me with her presence. No thanks, if I'm spending several hundred dollars with you. I don't need to feel like I'm inconveniencing the employees. I understand helping out the alterations team when business is slow, but be aware of what is happening in the store. I'll try out some of the other stores in the area instead. read more

The Staff are very friendly and accommodating of times and schedules. They even did some last minute alterations when I lost some weight before the wedding. Unfortunately, my plan was to have my bustles sewn so they were permanent. I did not want a train even for the ceremony. This was $20 a bustle resulting in hundreds of dollars. The day of the wedding before the ceremony was over all bustles were out and I spent the entire night having to drag the dress around and trip on it. Very disappointing especially for the amount of money I spent. I did contact them after expressing my disappointment and no one got back to me. That combined with price for something that did not last has left me unable to recommend to people. Very disappointed aside from the friendliness and flexibility-which unfortunately is not what gets the job done. :( read more

My appointment was with the owner, Colleen, who is amazing and will make you feel at ease the second you walk in the door. I showed Colleen my massive photo album of dresses on my phone and she immediately went to work. I came to my appointment feeling confident that I knew what type of dress I wanted. I was really into the Hayley Paige, boho look, but boy was I wrong. The style terrible on me... and I was disappointed that my idea of a dream dress just wasn't going to be work. Cue Colleen... we immediately started trying on different styles. I probably should have mentioned I had a tough crowd to please, my nana, mom and sister were all there to give their seal of approval. After a few just OK reactions from the bride squad, I put a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown with detachable sleeves. When I walked out of the dressing room I could tell it wasn't getting the reaction I wanted, but then Colleen said "let's take off the sleeves". As soon as she took them off, my Nana's face lit up. It was the one. Colleen really knows her dresses and will help you find the one for your big day. I highly recommend trusting Chantilly Place for your big day! You won't be disappointed. read more

Choosing Chantilly Place to find my wedding dress was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning. When I first went there to find my dress I was immediately comfortable in their boutique. The shop is located in a beautiful brick mill building with a fairytale like effect. When I had gone it was around the holiday season and was tastefully decorated with a festive touch and had lovely Christmas music playing faintly in the background. It was a very special day that I will cherish always. I found Colleen and her team to be such a pleasure to work with. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and immediately put you at ease. I knew I was in good hands. The boutique has a beautiful selection of dresses, a team of experts in the wedding industry and an amazing tailor to help you find the perfect dress that any bride would dream of. I found the dress of my dreams with the help of loved ones with me and Chantilly's fabulous consultants. Colleen had known I had always hoped for a dress with sleeves and so with her vision and tailor Celeida they were able to add sleeves to the dress I choose. What they were able to do for my dress was incredible and so stunning. I could not be more grateful. With such a great experience finding my dress we all knew that's where everyone would want to go for theirs. So, my mom, my mother in law to be, and all my bridesmaids found their dresses at Chantilly place as well. Everyone shared that same great experience that I had at Chantilly Place which as a bride couldn't have made me happier. Colleen and her team at Chantilly Place even helped my bridal party surprise me with an amazing bridal shower in the restaurant within The Mills! They are truly a wonderful group. If you are looking for your wedding dress or for a dress of any special event I highly recommend you visit Chantilly Place. read more

I highly recommend Chantilly Place and the phenomenal women who share their passion working here! There are no words to describe the emotions I had for my 1st visit to try on wedding dresses and lucky for me, I started here. Walking through the door, I was immediately greeted with smiling faces and a genuine welcome from all their staff. They even remembered my Matron of Honor, who also highly recommended them and purchased her dress from them years prior. They began by discussing my hopes and ideas of styles I may like. I didn't feel rushed at all and was able to share pictures of what I envisioned I may like. We were offered champagne and treats, while being made comfortable in their clean, elegant, and well lit show room. They immediately found a large variety of styles similar to what I had shared. I'm not one to be the center of attention but their assistance in the fitting room, pinning and zipping each dress, and offering all their expertise in how each dress could be altered or accessorized instantly calmed my nerves and made it a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. To my surprise, I fell in love with a style very different from what I originally thought and found THE dress that morning. Each woman working shared in my excitement and far exceeded my expectations for the visit. I cannot stress enough how grateful I am for the knowledge, professionalism, and kindness this team provided me from scheduling my appointment to purchasing my dream wedding dress! I highly recommend Chantilly Place for your own memorable and stress-free wedding dress adventure! read more

I would not recommend Chantilly Place in Chelmsford to even my worst enemy. My experience (along with the entire bridal party's) was horrible! If I could give negative stars here, I would. The bride in our party spent extra money to special order a dress that wasn't in stock... instead she got the one that was on the rack. You could tell since the dress had makeup marks on the inside before she even tried it on and the elastic button clasps were all stretched out as if many people had already tried this on before. The bride did go to them to have the dress taken in, and even on the day of the wedding the dress was still about to fall off of her... another bridesmaid had to swap the cups of their dresses just so that the bride didn't flash anyone on her wedding day! Amy also had all of us order dresses at least 2 sizes larger than needed so that they could try to be the ones to charge to take the dresses in. I am a 5'3" woman who wears a size 8 jean to put my size in perspective. I understand when wearing bridesmaids dresses you need to size up, but when trying on the sizes in the store, the size 14 fit well (with room!) and I had told her I was in the process of losing weight anyways. Amy instead ordered a size 20 dress (which put me in the plus size category) which again was another upcharge! I took my dress to a seamstress my family uses and even she was appalled when I tried the dress on... She had to basically reconstruct the dress to fit me. Another one of the bridesmaids has worked at various bridal boutiques before, and she explained to us exactly what Amy was doing to nickel and dime us throughout the entire process. This place was not worth the time/money as well as just the stress on our entire bridal party! I would advise everyone to go anywhere EXCEPT Chantilly Place. read more

My daughter found her bridesmaids dresses from Chantilly Place's huge inventory of dresses in April after looking at bridal shops all over New England. She explained what she wanted and the price range and Colleen(the owner) pulled out the perfect dress right away. When the dresses came in one was way too small for one of the girls. The reason it was too small was the fault of the bridesmaid and no fault of Colleen. I won't go in to how this happened, but I will say that Colleen handled it like a pro, with a smile on her face. This was a very sticky situation between 2 families about to join by marriage that could have blown up in to a Jerry Springer moment and Colleen calmed the bride and settled the families and ordered a new dress. On to part 2 of our experience with Chantilly Place. When I tried on my dress last week to try out some jewelry the boning on the dress ripped through the side seam. The way the boning came loose looked as if it couldn't be repaired and they agreed at Lord and Taylor where it was purchased. It's now 2 weeks before my daughter's wedding and I have no dress! After looking at as many department stores as I could in 24hrs I went with the bride and my other daughter who is the maid of honor for her final fitting of her bridesmaid dress. I told Colleen my story, thinking she would tell me I was out of luck since it was so late. She said not to worry, we would find a dress and I would have it before the wedding. She was right. After spending SO much time with me trying on dresses we did find the perfect dress and I pick it up today. Everyone at Chantilly Place is fantastic to work with. They bend over backwards for you and make you feel SO special. Skip the bigger Bridal Shops in Boston and head over to Chantilly Place. You will be happy you did! read more

I had a wonderful experience here and will recommend them to all future brides. They had an outstanding collection, private changing rooms, and everyone was very pleasant and nice. read more

I was recommended to Chantilly Place by a family friend who had a really great experience with Colleen and her team there. When we walked into the shop, I saw a dress that was the complete opposite of what I thought I wanted, but I absolutely had to try it on. Once Colleen had helped me into the dress, we both knew that it was the one. I didn't want to take it off! That day, I found both my veil and all my jewelry. When the actual dress came in, we went through several fittings to get it exactly right. Colleen and her amazing seamstress worked their magic on this intricately detailed dress and it looked better than I could have ever imagined! On our wedding day, I received so many compliments on how the dress fit so perfectly, like it was made just for me. I have Colleen and the team at Chantilly Place to thank for that. Thanks again for making our wedding day extra special! P.S. A girl was trying on prom dresses when I was there for a fitting and it was gorgeous! read more

I am SO happy with Chantilly Place, particularly the owner Colleen. I fell in love with a Maggie Sottero gown online and called multiple bridal stores throughout MA to see if they had it. No one had it, and no one seemed interested in trying to help me find it. Then we called Chantilly Place. They didn't have the gown, but Colleen said she could get it for me; and she did. When I went in to try the gown on I loved it right away, but since I had only tried on that one wedding dress ever, I wanted to have some dress-up fun and try on a few others. Colleen was happy to help me try on a bunch of other dresses just for fun, and boy was it fun! I ultimately ended up purchasing the original gown she had brought in for me. It has been an absolute joy working with Colleen over this past year. I had 3 dress fittings with 2 rounds of alterations needed, and my dress was absolutely perfect by the end. I always looked forward to my fittings of course for the obvious reason that I got to see my dress (!!), but also because every time I went into the shop I felt like I was visiting a good friend. Colleen is so bubbly and sweet, but SUPER professional. My mother chose to buy her "mother of the bride" dress elsewhere, and not once did Colleen pressure my mother to buy a dress there, nor did she ever mention the fact that my mother bought her dress at a different store. This really wowed us. The shop moved to Chelmsford during the course of this past year (which Colleen made sure we knew so that there was no confusion when I went in for my 2nd dress fitting). The new shop is much smaller but has the same amount of inventory. It is in an old historical house in the town which is super cute. Overall I found Chantilly Place to be affordable and convenient, but ultimately it is the amazing service, with the professionalism and sweetness of Colleen, that makes me LOVE them. I wanted to make sure to recommend them to everyone! read more

Went to Chantilly to buy my wedding gown against the warnings and advice from other brides who went there. Picked up my dress this past Saturday, and my dress was too big. Instead of rectifying the issue, three people stood there trying to convince me that it was the perfect size. How do I know its too big? The courset should not be within 1 inch of completely closing; that ruins the effect of the courset back. Now I will have to have the gown sized down and pay extra for alterations. Second part of this ordeal - when I ordered my gown, I explicitly asked to order a shawl and purse shown in the catalog with other versions of my gown. I was given a price which I thought was covering everything. When I picked up the dress this past weekend, there was NO shawl or purse. I was told "I can't find any notes on that." They're also saying that I never paid for the purse and shawl. They have ruined an experience that I should be enjoying as a bride. read more

Even though I did not end up buying my dress here, I still wanted to write a review for Chantilly Place and Colleen (owner). This bridal shop is quaint and quiet, but I loved every minute of it. Colleen and her staff are amazing, from pulling dresses to giving advice. They are laid back and accommodating. They have a great selection of bridesmaid dresses, MOB dresses and wedding dresses. I found a few wedding dresses that were frontrunners for me here. This is the kind of place where they pull dresses for you - so if that is not what you are looking for - then beware. They do not let you browse and pick what you want to try on (which I actually enjoyed). Colleen knows her stuff, listens to your preferences and pulls dresses that exactly on point. I would highly recommend any bride to stop into Chantilly Place. A great little and local shop with friendly service! Five stars for me. Thank you Chantilly Place! read more

Had such a great time and felt so welcomed!! Totally recommend! Made it easy as possible for several girls to agree on one dress!

I can't say enough about Colleen and her team. When you walk into the shop it's cute, organized, and totally not overwhelming. I went in with a clear idea for my wedding dress - clean, simple, comfortable - and ended up leaving with a not white, fitted, extended train head turner. And I LOVED it. I was glad Colleen and her team were inviting enough for me to trust them, and I was so happy I tried on dresses outside of what my comfort zone was. I looked great and felt great on my wedding day. The boutique was super accommodating for my mom and bridesmaids as well. My mom got an off the rack dress during a sale and it was a steal. She and I both got our alterations through Chantilly as well, and everything came out great. My bridesmaids loved coming in to see my dress, and Colleen and her group let us hang out, sip champs, and gossip. We had a great time every time we went into Chantilly, and I will definitely work with them again if I am in other weddings or need a more formal dress as a guest. Thanks again Colleen, xo! read more

I am a bride that is a people pleaser! I already put money down on another dress, at another store, and Colleen made me feel completely comfortable with shopping. Most stores would snub their nose at you, but Colleen was professional and a sweetheart to work with. The shop was wonderfully decorated and had everything for brides and bridal party attire. When I told Colleen what I wanted, she immediately found several dresses that fit the bill and in the end it was a tough decision. I know I made the perfect choice for my wedding and I left smiling! read more

I was shopping for Mother of the Bride and my daughter and I stopped in here. Lovely shop with great layout and extensive selection of dresses and some accessories. My daughter found her headpiece. They were lovely about letting us look and I made an appointment for a return visit. Staff was very helpful, but there was also no pressure. I ordered a dress that was under $200 and when it came in an appointment was made for when the seamstress was in. When I went back to pick it up it fit much better, but I was a bit disappointed in the fit of the waist. They were lovely as I made another appointment with the seamstress and the next pick-up the dress was perfect! Well fitted, but not binding and comfortable for dancing and sitting. Will definitely head back here if other children get married. read more

My experience was unprofessional as well as unorganized. They misplaced the bride's dress for the wedding I was in and hadn't had it altered yet even though it was supposed to be done. They told her it was in the "dungeon" which is apparently what they call the storage room. She tried it on and it hadn't been touched for months so. Otherwise it was a cute shop but I think they relocated. Their prices for altering were also a lot higher than most places so we chose to go elsewhere for alterations. read more

Let me save you a trip. Find someplace else to find your dress. I went here for my bridesmaid dresses. I found a dress I liked and searched what area stores carried it. They were one of few, so they had the upper hand. The store was out of the way for me but I loved the dresses so much I made the exception and they were friendly over the phone. The dresses came in and here is when the issues started. 3 of the girls were measured incorrectly and the dresses were too small on them (no they didnt gain weight). One other girl was abroad and the dress got lost and she never refunded the shipping she charged. My bridesmaid emailed her multiple times asking for the tracking link so she could check in on it since she doesnt speak the native langauge and things work differently in the country with packages. The owner had gone on vacation and stopped answering emails (what kind of business owner doesnt grant email access to other employees to answer emails when you go on vacation?) and then said she had lost the tracking form. I sent the owner a long angry email and to this day she never once said the words 'im sorry' to me. It was only excuse after excuse and defending herself. Trust me, save yourself and go elsewhere. She caused me so much stress during my wedding planning. This place is just not worth it read more

Chantilly used to be my go-to place for formal wear and bridesmaid dresses. I can honestly say after my last experience I won't ever go again. I wasn't listened to for a second while I tried on dresses. I really shouldn't have even purchased a dress from them. They tried to convince me to go two sizes bigger than I did. Ended up spending well over 100 to get the right fit because it was still gigantic. read more

Dress alterations here are such a joke. Was quote $65 when I dropped off my dress after alternations paid over hundred. Staff is bored to say the least and totally uninterested in helping you. My dress wasn't even ready when I came to pick it up after they had it for over 3 weeks for a hem. The hem wasnt even done right. Go ANYWHERE else. read more

We had the most amazing experience at Chantilly Place this morning. We had an 11am bridal appointment. I had been dress shopping last month and I was pretty much sold on a certain dress, but I wanted to try on a few more before I decided for sure. We arrived ten minutes prior to our appointment and I let Amy know that we had one more person who was running a bit late. She was open and honest and said she was running about fifteen minutes behind schedule as well. Amy was the ONLY person working at the store today, so being a bit behind schedule was totally understandable. While we waited, we sipped on some champagne that we brought (Yes! You can bring champagne!). Throughout the entire appointment, Amy was running back and forth like a mad woman, trying to please everyone in the store, but she still had time to stay with us and and give me her honest thoughts and opinions on each dress. In the end, I tried on one that I absolutely fell in love with, and it ended up beating the other. It's strapless, and I wanted straps of some sort, and Amy came up with an amazing idea to make a halter strap. When she showed me, I fell in love. She knew exactly what she was doing. Amy knew I was very indecisive and needed time to make my decision, so not only did she not push us, but she encouraged us to take a break and we ended up being there for THREE HOURS, without once being made to feel like we were overstaying our welcome. The store itself was clean and inviting, but Amy is the one who made the experience what it was. I am so happy with my dress, and the memories of our appointment today. I can not recommend Chantilly Place enough. read more

I'm hesitant to write this review because I don't want to hurt anyone's business but I also don't want another bridal party to experience the same issues our group did. In a nut shell, we ordered five bridesmaid dresses that were all $250 to $300 in addition to the bride's dress. When the items came in, three out of five had defects and all were not "quality dresses". Members of the bridal party that had to have defects corrected felt like we were brushed off and not prioritized. No one realized how many of us had similair issues with this place until the wedding. After the wedding, I contacted Chantilly to request a 30% discount on the dresses that had errors and was offered a discount on one dress. Chantilly does see this event differently than us but we still feel like we were not taken care of and the expensive brand we ordered was a poor quality dress. Just be careful with the brands you order and if there is an issue don't be afraid to strongly insist it be promptly take care of. read more
