The line was long as always but it moved pretty fast. Customer service is great here. They have many ice cream flavors. It's rich and delicious. They also have banana splits, hot fudge, soft serve and more. So much to choose from. The ambiance is fun right near the beach. Outside tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream or take it to the beach. We came to Chantilly Ice Cream because the other famous spot in the area had a ridiculously long line, and this one did not. The visit felt easy and relaxed, with no waiting and a chance to try something new. The shop itself was clean and inviting, and the staff was absolutely lovely. Their friendliness and attentiveness made the experience more enjoyable and added a personal touch that made us feel welcome right away. That said, the ice cream did not quite match the price. It was tasty enough, but it did not feel worth the cost, and I left thinking I probably would not return for the ice cream alone. Chantilly Ice Cream: the shop itself was super hot inside which is kind of wild considering it's an ice cream place. The ice cream though was actually really good; we got matcha, rocky road, strawberry, and raspberry vanilla. The matcha tasted like real matcha which I loved. The strawberry had seeds in it so you could actually taste the texture which made it feel fresh. The raspberry vanilla had strands of raspberry running through it that were kinda like a firm jelly and it mixed well with the vanilla. We did 3 scoops for $16 since a single scoop was already $11; honestly just made more sense that way. The vibe from the staff wasn't it; they didn't seem in the mood, super abrupt, and didn't make me feel welcome. I could tell from their demeanor they didn't really wanna let me sample either. Wonderful ice cream shop literally a hundred feet from the beach with a massive selection of both seasonal and permanent flavors. The service is excellent and the samples they provide are significant enough to make an informed decision. The ambiance is also nice as it is nicely laid out and easily fits in to the beach vibe. The s'mores ice cream was my favorite and I appreciated how they divided our scoop into two separate cup for me and my wife. Highly recommend, however it's the 21st century and they really should be taking credit cards rather than have an ATM inside that charges an exorbitant fee. My wife and I really enjoy this place, especially for the affogato. Very delicious home made ice cream. They take pride in being home made with quality ingredients and i am all for it! I ended up grabbing the Matcha ice cream and wow, just exactly what i was craving for. The staff was very kind, and they let you sample flavors. Who doesn't want an ice cream in the summer at the beach? We came over here because the line at Gelato Paradiso was intimidating.. There were many interesting ice cream flavors but you can only sample 2 flavors per person. There was a bit of a line when we went but it was a Sunday evening and it was a hot summer day, so everyone had the same thought. The line moved pretty quickly though. The staff working could be a bit more friendly but they'd probably had a long day scooping out so many ice creams throughout the day. I don't blame them. At least they were not rude. I was a little disappointed that out of their extensive menu, there were only 3 vegan flavors available. So, Instead of getting a cone each, we split two scoops in one bowl. I think it was under $12. So there's a solution for you. I think one scoop was $8-9. I wanted a sugar cone, on top of the bowl, and I was charged an extra $1, but the staff didn't inform me of the up charge.
