The main reason we order from here is for the jalapeno chicken, even though the heat level can be inconsistent. Overall the food tastes good though I do feel that the chicken pieces were mostly breading. I was a little afraid to eat the jalapenos but they weren't as spicy as I was expecting. It looked like my portion of chicken was noticeably smaller than the others who got the same thing. General Tso's was pretty good. I ordered Kung pao chicken, roast pork buns, and wonton soup, and was really impressed with their speed and efficient service. The chicken was just the right crisp and had a nice spice to it. The soup had a unique, warm taste to it, and the buns paired well. Thus, I would usually order on DoorDash or take out and my family have been enjoying the food as well. Some of my favorite have been the white rice combo with teriyaki chicken, and the roast pork fried rice. I would recommend this as a one of a kind restaurant in Cornwall. read more

Just moved up from NYC and am trying to find something to replace my Chinese food back home. Now, having access to places like Wo-Hop in Chinatown of course has me spoiled so I accounted for that when trying this place out. I would say their food is very good and priced fairly. called in an order while delivering my last grub hub order of evening in the area near here, I ordered within the last 30 minutes of them being open, they are very nice and took my order despite the time, I was even a few minutes late after closing to grab it and they are still polite and respectful and not oh were closing hurry up. great service even till end of their day. so, I ordered the BBQ pork bun, young chow fried rice and pan-fried wontons in garlic sauce. The bun was so pillowy soft and BBQ pork was savory, sweet and tender, not too saucy and very filling. pan-fried wontons were chewy and tender, plenty of filling in them, garlic sauce was spicy and tangy, great dipping the wontons further in the sauce with each bite. now the rice, a fair amount of chicken and shrimp, pretty packed rice with flavor, only thing that was off is there was a lot in grease in the rice and pooled in bottom of container. overall, they do their best for their town and wonderful service. read more

First time customer. Regretfully, also last time customer. While shrimp egg rolls and crab rangoon were fantastic, the remainder of my order was the worst Chinese I've ever had. The hot in the hot and sour soup seemed to have been omitted. It was really blah tasting. The boneless ribs had a acidic citrus taste to them. Yuck!!! The menu listed Curry shrimp with onions. There were a few onions included along with a lot of other veggies. Menu should not specify onions and just list "Curry shrimp with vegetables". Wonder how many other entrees are mis- listed? This used to be a great place for Chinese take-out. We got an order yesterday and it was a big disappointment. To much breading and sauce. Not enough vegetables and the vegetables were not fresh. Plus the fortune cookie had no fortune. I hope this was just an off day and not the norm read more

Ordered take out from here today and it was pretty tasty. I tried three different menu options including chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour was definitely the favorite of the three. The prices for the lunch specials were reasonable but I was surprised to see they didn't come with a choice of soda or egg roll like most other places I've been to. All of the chicken was good quality but the sauces were what we thought could be improved on. They all seemed to have a weird orange taste to them. Excellent chinese food, never had to wait more then 20 minutes at most even when they are busy. They will adjust their dishes to your taste on request (more garlic, extra pork, extra mushrooms). Gotta say Chans has some of the freshest chinese food I've ever had. They are acurate at taking phones orders which can sometimes be hard for these kinds of places. You can expect to pay about 20 dollars for 2 combos. Which I think is a great value for the quality and quantity of the food. I eat take-out from here quite a bit. The prices are average in comparison with their competition. The food has always been good every time I've eaten there. They are prompt with their waiting times. I got mu shu chicken with pancakes and the pancakes had green and blackish dots on every one so I called and ended up going back to show her because it looked like mold.
