Great little place with very good food! The family that runs this restaurant is so friendly and charming. The service was speedy. We had the fried halloumi cheese appetizer and didn't get a pic but it was amazing. So flavorful! Hubby had the beef skewers and I had the chicken shawarma plate. Both were delicious and packed with flavor. For desserts we had the caramel apple baklava and the walnut pistachio baklava - they were excellent. Nice and flaky yet chewy and the seasoning was spot on. We will definitely be back soon! read more

From Out of town and visited this small little restaurant today. Food was good, portions very small and price was outrageous. I Ordered 2 gyro sandwiches which were 7.99 each. I asked our server what came with the sandwich and she said "I can give you fries". I didn't want fried so I asked for a small salad. She said she could do that. The salad was no more than a 4 inch circle on the plate, mostly lettuce, very little vegetables. I'm thinking it goes with the gyro. When I went to pay she said the total was 39$. I ordered 2 of everything. 16 for 2 gyro sandwiches, 13$ for the 2 teeny tiny side salads and 2 ice teas. When I questioned the high cost Ms. Blondy (apparently she's the owner, she told me in a sarcastic tone) got very indignant with me, as if I had no right to ask what things cost. If you go here make sure you understand things are way over priced and you certainly DO NOT get to question it. read more

My husband and I are big fans of all Mediterranean food, especially Greek. We had really been looking forward to eating here until we finally did. We did NOT have the experience of enjoying excellent customer service contrary to the reviews we had seen and heard. The food was also lacking in flavor and look. My husband had the gyro plate and the meat was not hot, the pita were dry and tasted bland. They were most definitely store bought and old. The hummus was swimming in oil and lacked flavor but the worst thing we had was the falafel. We have had so many falafel in many places and even make it at home regularly. We had never experienced such a disappointment when we bit into theirs. They were extremely dense, not cooked very well, cold, and they tasted soured bordering on rotten. No amount of sauce could make them better and even the tzatkiki was thin and runny. The best thing we had was the salad and that's the simplest thing you can make/order. The olive oil, garlic, herb, and sumac dressing was good. All of this being said, this place may be appealing to some as it offers the only variety from fried chicken, fast food, or tex-mex in the area. We personally prefer the Greek place in Bossier and it's well worth the drive for the quality of food and service. read more

We had high expectations for this place based on all of the other reviews. There is not many options for eating out in our small town and I have yet to find a place that checks all of my boxes. Maybe I just have super high standards. Service was alright. I actually felt like she was kind of passive and rude until it came time to pay the check and then she perked up and started making conversation. I asked for extra dressing and was told I could not have extra because it was in squeeze bottles, I was very confused by that and it kinda just felt like she didn't want me to have extra dressing lol. Just squeeze it into a cup. There were so many reviews raving about how wonderful the service is, I just expected well, really good service. Maybe it was a tough day for her, I will give her the benefit of the doubt because everyone deserves it. Ok food. Appetizers were fried cheese and hummus. The fried cheese was pretty good and we loved dipping our pita in the garlic olive oil, it was flavored well. Pita taste store bought and pita bread from scratch alone would make this place worth eating at. The hummus totally missed the mark. I am not sure what was bitter but something was just not right, I love hummus, I make it from scratch all the time. This just was not it. To much tahini I think. SALAD was out of this world good. Just the small salad that comes with the meal. The dressing on this salad is so good I could drink it and pour it on everything. I was super bummed I was not allowed to have a cup of it to put on some pita. I got the shrimp pasta which I don't recommend, it was cold, the shrimp were good but the flavors were just lacking in the overall dish. Kids meals were chicken strips, they said they were good. Overall this place was alright. I am going to give it another chance and I will ask what they recommend and will definitely get a giant salad to go with whatever I am eating. read more

I'm a big fan of Greek food. I've had it in Greece and all over the US and this is fantastic! Authentic and great tasting. The Gyro was delicious and the hummus was good as well. The dessert was incredible too! Everything is made by the owner and his wife and they are awesome! Definitely take the time to stop by and eat! read more

I have eaten in numerous Greek restaurants all over US and Canada and this is as good as what you find in Greektown in Detroit or Chicago. The Hummus is the best I ever had. The Gyro is exceptional. This place is worth a drive to Springhill and beats by a mile any of the Greek restaurants in Shreveport or Bossier. Cabbage rolls, grape leaves and lamb chops or kabobs are great so is the baklava. The place is Attractive, clean and service is great. Prices are very reasonable. Go and you will go back again! read more

Totally unexpected delight! Amazing and authentic Greek food. This is not your standard gyro sandwich shop. This is a husband and wife team that pour hard work and love into their dishes. The menu has many classic Greek dishes and there are daily specials. Make sure to ask as there are available items not listed on the menu or specials board. We ordered the hummus, fried cheese, and falafel appetizers. All were amazing. For entrees, we ordered the moussaka, pastitsio, gyro platter, gyro pasta, chicken shawarma plate, and shrimp pasta. We all tried each other's dishes. All were outstanding! Save room for the homemade baklava. Hands down some of the best baklava I have ever tasted! Go today. Everything is homemade, fresh, and tastes great!! Lunch plate was large. Big enough to share. Side salad dressing was not too oily with lots of herbs. When I come back to this area for work. 2 stars. got a gyro platter to go. had to do a chore while they prepared it. they asked if we wanted everything, including feta cheese & black olives. my girlfriend said yes, everything! of course, when she came back, it was tied up in a plastic bag. when we opened at home, no feta, no olives, 1 piece of pitabread & some yellow rice. now, there was a lot of meat, but we very disappointed in the rest of it. probably won't go back, I'v had plenty of gyro platters from many different places but this could have been the worst! the worst thing about it, the girl asked if we wanted the black olives & there was none! read more

We ate here recently with friends. Ordered the fried cheese appetizer and stuffed grape leaves and both were delicious. My wife and I had the kabob platter with lamb , beef chicken and shrimp and All were good. Our favorites were the chicken and shrimp. The owner/chef was kind and brought a" taste of other dishes" out that he was going to offer on the menu. Overall was a good night with good food. read more
