The place looked big with lots of room. Went on a Friday night and there wasn't many people there. The location is in a weird spot so probably would suggest better advertising to get people to know about the place. Service was nice. Food is a little pricey but it is so good and worth it. I came here on Saturday to hear a friend's band sing at a Red River Revel fundraiser. I had never been here before and was very surprised to see so much variety on the menu. They even have a large outdoor area! Service was very friendly and accommodating. Alicia was our waitress and she's was great! The food was below our expectations. Their house hummus with pita that's served complimentary was not good. We " doctored" it up with salt and chili pepper flakes. The problem with their pita is that it's not authentic and gets really tough in texture quickly after it's served and sits there. I ordered a Persian salad and the dressing was off and lacked the depth in Mediterranean flavor you crave. I could only taste lemon and nothing else. Husband had a green salad with their ranch and it tasted like it came from a bottle and not homemade. We each had the kubedeh combo plate with rice. The beef kabob was perfectly seasoned and cooked! We saw this place one morning on KSLA Tasty Tuesday and had to check it out. There's no doubt that we're glad we did. It was so nice to try something different from the norm. Our waitress did a wonderful job of familiarizing us with the menu and making suggestions. Everything was made to perfection Aside from my main course, my favorite item was the eggplant dip in the appetizer trio... so well done and full of flavor. Ordered takeout. So disappointed in my meal here. I have been spoiled by all the amazing Persian restaurants in ATL and NY where I grew up. The hummus was the biggest disappointment of all. I love a few extra garlic cloves but this was totally inedible and acrid. The Beef Kubideh just tasted like salt and pepper. The Chenjeh was cooked well. I requested rare and it was juicy and moist. However, again, so underwhelmed by the lack of seasoning. It just tasted like garlic, salt and pepper. Portions are large but the ratios are off. They have a huge selection of rare liquor and wine and the abundance was beautiful. The food was very different and not impressive. Wonderful first experience. Not just our server but two other staff members as well were attentive, friendly and well versed with the menu. In so many places the food on the website is much more appealing than the presentation but EVERYTHING we had was beautifully presented. Portions were generous and cooked appropriately whether it was eggplant, beef or even the cranberry rice. Nothing was over or under done. The pistachio ice cream was pleasantly sweet and the dill rice was surprisingly subtle.
