There was this amazing girl working she was so beautiful and looked like Lucy Liu her name was exotic starting with aoz i think. This girl sized my friend and I; 38 h and 36f perfection! I have been a size 36G for the last 5 years but lost 40 lbs and my bras have been gapping and not that well fitting so it was time to go to change. I have had bad experiences at metrotown where my friend was incorrectly fitted and could not wear the bra she dropped 130 bucks on because it hurt too much. But have only had wonderful experiences at cambie st! The girl was so thorough attentive and helpful that we insisted we were going to write reviews on yelp because honestly in Vancouver the customer service everywhere is so lacking. But I felt here more like when I shop in Vegas or new York. My only complaint is that they were limited in the styles my 38h friend could try on. I was walking by tonight I noticed they had a sale 50% off I decided to go in. I wanted to get some satin PJs, nice bra and panty set for the new year. Oh my God, she didn't even want to move from behind the cash. I asked her a question I had to bring the merchandise over to her because she was too lazy to come out from behind the desk. I couldn't believe it horrible service, no people skills whatsoever. I remember she was East Indian and she had a red dot in between her eyebrows. Oh my god no warm greeting no knowledge she was like a robot God for bid you ask her where is the price? It was too much work for her know smiling nothing like a poker face, oh I will not be coming back there ever now I think about it no wonder it's never busy. Look at the lousy service you get it's the customer that has to do the sales person's job. Oh, believe me, I'm gonna escalate this to the corporate office she was terrible. Oh my god she doesn't suggest anything nor take an interest in the customers request and certainly doesn't show you anything Do not ever go to this lingerie shop. First time I went in long ago they don't know how to measure, there's no people skills,knowledge and furthermore, I ended helping myself there was no service! I remember buying two bras, black lace and a skin tone lace. I tried the black on. It was good the skin tone bra I did not Try on once I got home I started looking at the bra I noticed it's not finished the lace was so unevenly cut it's was obvious was terrible material a $75 bra so this goes to show you there's no customer service at this lingerie store. It's a complete joke they just stand there like a robot its the customer that is helping themselves they just know how to press buttons God forbid you ask a question about the material they don't know anything it's a joke... do not go to the store, and I believe they had one at Metrotown a complete rip off for the amount of money they charge. Went here for a fitting and wanted to buy a few bras but unfortunately one rude employee turned me off completely. I overheard another employee saying there were a few promos happening as I was looking at the bras and I asked one of the ladies and she acted like I asked her the most complicated question in the world. She got all huffy about having to tell me what promotions they are running and said " well if you ask me an opening ended question like that...what do you expect". I'm sorry I didn't realize asking you to do your job and explain YOUR STORE promotions was going above and beyond. Maybe better customer service would have been to ask your customer what they were interested in buying before coping an attitude. Nice bras, terrible fitting advice. I was assisted by one of the salespeople and was measured and told I was a size 32D. I have never worn a size 32 band before, always 34 or sometimes 36. This includes Victoria's Secret, Dita Von Teese and LaSenza brands. I told the salesperson and she encouraged me to just try it on, which I did. She was in the fitting room with me, and showed me how much "room" was between the bra strap and my back, and recommended that anything larger would be much too big as she could already fit her hand behind it. I said that I thought it was tight but that I would take her advice as an expert. I purchased 3 size 32 bras at 40% off. Because they were "on sale" I was told they are a final sale. If I had been able to exchange them I would have done so days later as I realized pretty quickly that they were all much too tight. Its now February and I've been trying to stretch out the bands and get used to the snug fit but as I sit here now I'm dying to take off the bra and I've only been wearing it for two hours. I have tried everything to break them in including wearing band-aids under where they rub, but I am now resigned to the fact that they will never be comfortable. I spent $200 on three bras that I literally cannot wear so I am really disappointed in the terrible bra-fitting advice that I received by the salesperson. can i tell you how great it feels to have a well-fitting bra, after years spent in awkward and uncomfortable ones? WELL I'M GOING TO ANYWAY i usually cram myself into the nearest replica to my size that i can find at lasenza or jacob and i have been doing myself such a disservice. today i dropped by and got sized. the saleswoman was super friendly & professional. she came into the changeroom (but never while i was naked) to gently check the fit of the straps, band and cups, all the while explaining how a bra should fit and what to look for. the bras i picked up are incredibly comfortable--so much so, it feels like i am not wearing one! damn, what a treat! on top of that, they had a great promotion going, so i got four matched bra and knicker sets for the price of two. oh yes, i like that. i spent more than i intended (the most expensive bra i picked out was $55)--but the comfort is so worth it. although they didn't have a huge range of colours and styles, i will definitely return. i loved being able to get my unusual bra size without paying out the nose! read more

I came in to this store with something specific in mind as I had undergone surgery. My surgeon had specifically instructed that I must get a full coverage underwire bra to wear day and night that is NOT a plunge and push up styled bra. The Store Manager was the person that assisted me. She chose bras that she claimed are specifically for my surgery and measured me as a 30D. I am a type of person that rarely shops for bras and have no knowledge about the types and sizing and relied on her knowledge. I ended up buying 2 bras and within a few hours it was too tight to the point were it was digging into my skin and gave me blisters the next day around were the band sits. I went back to the store and spoke to the same person that sold me the bras and she was just argueing with me and said that the sizing is correct and she would not honor an exchange and put the blame on me saying that I am the one that chose the bra and they are final sale! I even showed her a screenshot of the product on the Change website stating that it is a plunge shaper and a push up styled bra and she still was still not willing to exchange them even though it was clearly her mistake. I showed her the blisters and red marks from the bra digging and she still said the sizing she measured is correct. It was to the point where my husband got involved and we got super upset and left the bras there without getting our money back. I ended up going to another specialized bra store and I was measured as a 36D - a huge difference to what she had measured. read more

After hearing great things about this store, I decided to get myself fitted. The bra initially felt tight but she assured me that this was the right size as it would eventually stretch. I decided to chance it and took it home. I stupidly took off the tags, making it a final sale. After wearing it around a bit, I found the fabric to be rough and itchy. I brought it back and they did a nice job of sewing a smooth, soft lining into the cups. However, after a day of wear, I had deep red lines on my torso, as it was so tight. I appreciate that it will eventually stretch but I don't think I can wear it long enough to break it in. So I now have a $60 bra that I can't wear. I have definitely learned my lesson about not removing tags before I am sure about an undergarment. read more

Change is a new lingerie store that's recently opened on Cambie, between Starbucks and the new Save-on-Foods. When it first appeared I'd toddle by with my sackful of groceries, looking resentfully at the frilly bras and stockings on display and thinking "Bah! Lucky tarts! Yet another froufy lingerie store to choose from!" Because I thought it was something along the line of Victoria's Secret or something: nice, but only within the realm of the usual sizes. Meanwhile, for my more obscure size I have to trek to Diane's on South Granville, or Forever Yours out to hell and gone in Langley. It has always made me envious of people who can swing into the mall and pluck bargains galore from the shelves at La Senza. I hate having to spend 4X as much as a regular bra, to end up with one 4X as ugly. But I digress... Because THIS time, *I* am the lucky tart! Change actually carries a gamut of cup sizes from A to F! I just noticed this info on a display in their window today. I quickly ran through the alphabet to see if my size came before "F" (E! I was in!) then I dashed in with my grocery bag. Lo and behold, there was plenty of bras in all sizes, but most importantly in my size, ranging from scandalous to prim. They actually go by UK sizing. The clerk said this means your band size generally goes down 1 notch and your cup size goes up 1 notch. That's just what she said as she floated by, I don't know if that's the technical definition. I had to throttle back on the impulse to buy, buy, buy. (Everyone bodacious in the boobular area will agree: when you do encounter proper fitting, sexy underwear, it's occasion enough to set the VISA on fire). The average price of my purchases was in the $80 range each. (I recently spent $150 each on 3 bras at Forever Yours, so this place was a comparative bargain.) Best yet, the sport bra selection was remarkable, with fully adjustable, great fitting options that don't crush your bosoms together so it looks like a loaf of bread is under your shirt. I got two @ $78 bucks each. I got a little dizzy at what I was spending (so worth it, though) so I can't say I thoroughly looked at every style the store had. I didn't look at the gonch or negligees, etc. Everything here though is stylish and well made. Check out the web site for an idea of what I mean. First I want to say that the ladies who work here are professional, courteous and great to deal with. But I have a problem with an industry that says 'you're wearing the wrong size' only to stuff you into a very expensive, uncomfortable & unflattering bra. I was measured, given a few different sizes to try on and told that I had to get the bra a little snug around the back as it would stretch over time. The issue i have is that the bra, in between the time it supposidly stretches out & now, is so uncomfortable that I can't wear it for more than 20 minutes without feeling that I'm being stabbed. In addition, almost every bra I came across had padding. I do not need to add volume, nor do I want that look. Even more had seams and stitching that made them difficult to wear under clothing with no lines. Another reviewer made the point that they didn't stock strapless bras either. Yes - true. I found that weird. For the cost involved, I'm totally unimpressed. read more

I shop Change for happy boobies! Once a year, or less if I've gained or lost weight, I go on a bra buying spree and buy a half dozen or so new bras for myself. I used to shop at Victoria's Secret before they came to Canada, but they never really fit quite right. My friend referred me here, and it was love at first fitting. First some background: I used to work in a small, independent lingerie store, so I know about fittings. I can do my own, but it's easier when someone else does it for you. The first time I visited, the fitting assistant was friendly, helpful and competent. Once we had my size established, she brought me lots of fun bras and panties. This positive has been consistently repeated each time I've gone in. If you shop at the right time and can take advantage of their sales, all the better. The Change card is a nice perk. I find the bras to be well-made and very comfortable. I wash them in the machine and line-dry and they've retained their shape nicely. read more

Cheap, ill fitting bras from La Senza weren't cutting it for me anymore, so I asked one of my friends where she buys her bras. She could not stop raving about Change, so I went in today to see what it was all about. Well, I'm going to be super corny here, but Change might also get its name because it CHANGES LIVES. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and got me in the right size bra, and I have never felt so comfortable in my life. Plus, it's not overpriced! I've walked in and browsed here before. But having read the reviews on Change in Kits, I decided to get fitted properly. I haven't bought a bra in years, so I wanted advice. I walked in and looked as helpless as I could, but all the ladies were busy putting tried bras back on the hangers, and no one asked me if I wanted help. After about 5 minutes, I gave up, just picked a few that might fit and went to the fitting room. That was when the experience got better. The lady there asked me if I knew my size, and helped me when I said I didn't. She never actually used the measuring tape she had around her neck, but adjusted sizes depending on how the ones I had tried fit. Since I am small, there weren't many in the band size I needed, but she managed to find me one. She showed me how we could play around with the band size/cup size combination, but showed me how this type fit me best. I thought so, too. I love the purchase. I saw some stockings they had on display, and asked if they had patterns more interesting than fishnet. She said no, but try Jean Queen on Commercial. I'm looking forward to going there. read more

The staff were attentive and helpful in suggesting certain bra's for me to try on. I found one that fit well and decided to purchase it. The staff were not pushy at all, and I didn't feel inclined to buy. I was a bit startled in the change rooms when I could hear the person next to me expressing her dissatisfaction that the bra's she purchased had ripped after 6 months. Although the staff were kind to me, they were not so kind to this person, telling her she needs at least 6 bras to avoid wear and tear. While this may be true, this person said she could not afford 6 bras, so I don't believe that should be a requirement for bra care. So a four stars for now because the service and the bra were great for me, and will update this review in a few months to tell you how my bra has held up! read more

I've been to this store a few times and the staff took the time to get me fitted properly. One time, I went in because I walked by their sale, and there were four to five other ladies in the store. The one sales associate had to help a few of us out while managing the till. I had to wait awhile and when it was my turn, she helped me get fitted in the right sizes. Even though I had to wait quite awhile, I did like how she focused on helping the 1-2 ladies at a time, and she still provided excellent customer service even though I all my purchases were from the sales bin. She did some upselling (but the sales were good, so I'm glad she told me there was matching this and that with my items), and I left the store happy with my purchases. The store is tidy, and was pretty organize even during that sale. The customer service I've experienced so far is satisfying and the fitting is helpful. read more

One of the worst shopping experiences of my life happened here. It honestly sent me into a 6 month spiral where I would only order lingerie and underwear online so I didn't have to deal with salespeople again. I wandered in and found a bra I liked right away so I went into the fitting room to try it on. As I'm in there, inspecting my reflection to see how it fits, the sales woman asks me from the other side how it's going. Before the words, "fine" have even come out of my mouth she just comes in! No invitation from me or warning from her! I was so caught off guard she then launches into a seriously intimate critique of my body that was so uncalled for. I've lived in this flesh cage for decades and I have never, ever needed a salesclerk stranger to point out my flaws to me. I hadn't asked for a bra fitting or for her opinion of the look of the bra on my body (I was doing really good assessing that myself) or my perceived physical failings so I was so taken aback but not only her rudeness but how comfortable she felt doing it. I asked her to leave, got changed back into my own clothes and left. And like I said in the beginning, not only have I never gone back to this particular store -- nor will I ever -- but it scarred me from all lingerie stores for a good, long time as well. Luckily it was a one off for this store only and I've found much better stores to shop for bras. EDITED TO ADD: Just like to point out that their response to my entire ordeal was essentially: why don't you come back and subject yourself to a bra fitting you never asked for?! Y'all are gross and you need to leave people's bodies alone unless they explicitly invite you to do otherwise. I went to this store a few months ago to purchase a new bra, the salesperson picked out bras for me and helped find the "right fit". I wore the bra I purchased the next day and was in agony! It was way too tight and the underwire was digging into my armpits and leaving red marks. I went back the next day and was able to exchange it. The bra I went home with felt much better, even though the salesperson told me it was not really my size... Fast forward a few months and the underwire is poking through the fabric! I've heard about a lot of positive experiences with Change, so I finally worked up the courage to go this weekend. Bra shopping usually stresses me out, so that's why I had to work up the courage. Particularly because Change, like many other bra shops, offer free fittings. So I was expecting $80+ bras, and nothing practical, because that's what I've experience with every other place that does fittings. But that wasn't the case! Sure the bra fittings were as uncomfortable as you would expect being topless in front of near strangers, but when I walked in and started saying "The last time I was fitted for a bra was in high school" the sales person gave me a knowing smile and waved me into the back saying "Say no more!" It didn't matter *why* I was wearing uncomfortable bras, just that I had had enough. I ended up buying 3 bras, all in different sizes because every bra fits differently! I will definitely recommend Change to friends and return myself. read more

I had a terrible experiance of fitting here. I did not end up buying the bra that was sized for me because something wasn't sittinh right with me. It wasn't until I went home did I realize I was being put in bras that didn't fit me. Honestly I don't think the staff here realize the role that they play in women's lives. If a woman is asking to be sized it's because she has questions or discomfort in her ability to buy something that fits her. We look at the staff as experts who can help us find what is right for us. When they say something is the right size we believe them, even if it is uncomfortable. If we are being blamed for buying a bra that didn't fit because we were told it should, that's because we are used to being told our bodies are thr problem. This store and its staff made me feel like the bras were the right size and my body was the wrong size somehow. A bra should not shouldn't loosen into the correct size. If a bra loosens that's what the multiple clasps are for. A bra should be the right size from the day you buy it to the hottest, sweatyist, busyiest day of your life. The staff mept giving me bras that had me spilling out and assuring they would loosen to the right size? So basically once it is poorer quality it will fit me. That's brutal to hear, and I don't blame a woman for trusting them against their gut and then being out $60-80 just because she wore the bra that a staff said should fit. Horrible. Slightly rude service, and they didn't have what I was looking for...even though they do specialize in lingerie. The woman working said that I wouldn't find anything in my size, when I was looking for the bin. Well what if I was looking for someone else? Can you not be so rude to me. Also she said wirefree bras were a "last resort," and that they usually get someone fitted in a wire bra before. Well what if I have been fitted for a wire bra, and I still didn't like the feeling of the wire? Or I just didn't feel comfortable with it? Why is it such a problem, it is something that I [the customer] wants not you. She looked at me and thought I was F-G cup. Okay, whatever. Anyways I called Diane's right after, and they said that they carry many styles of wire-free bras all the way to larger cup sizes like I was looking for. So the moral of the story? Come here if you're looking for "regular" wire bras, and check in the bin for some good deals. Otherwise if you need a bra in a larger cup size, or wire-free bras, do not come here. But personally I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here with the slightly aloof "service" that I received. read more

I was ecstatic the first time I visited change and was fitted (properly fitted!) into a few lovely pieces which fit like a dream. I swore my days of trying to squish my 34H's into La Senza 38DD's were over. A year later, none of the four bras I've purchased here have held up. Under wires popped out of the gore, broken straps, stretched-out bands... none of these bras are wearable despite being hand-washed and well cared for. I've been back to Change a few times since and left empty handed due to the absolutely horrendous customer service, both times from the same saleswoman. She consistently fights with me over my size and has refused to bring me sizes I've asked for from the changing room. She has placed me in a 32 band several times despite being told it was too small - some bras left deep stinging marks on my skin after only being on for a minute or two - and acts extremely dismissive and offended when told the bras she's chosen just aren't working for me. She'd much rather a customer leave in an ill-fitting bra than admit she was wrong about a size. After one particularly insulting remark regarding my body, I've decided I won't be back. read more

Change has some decent selection of styles of designs, but because I have a small body, they don't seem to have my size in most of the nice fashion bras. For that reason alone, I barely go to Change. However, recently I happened to go because my mom got a coupon for doing a survey. I will acknowledge that the woman assisting me was trying to help and give me her opinion/advice.My issue with her was that I didn't like her approach. I came in and I glanced into a basket filled with leftover stock. All of a sudden heard a women with a loud and serious voice say "you won't find anything in your size...can I help you?" (she was referring to the basket that I saw). I wasn't greeted with hello and she didn't sound as friendly as the other sales woman who was helping someone else. I still let this woman help me anyway, first giving me the bra that I put on hold. I'm the type of shopper that prefers to be left alone. If I need assistance, then I always ask. I only expected to try on the bra, buy it if I liked the fit, then get out. -I was kind of in a hurry. The sales woman only focused her attention on me because I was just 1 of 2 customers in the store. I tried on the bra and I thought that the fit was perfect. The sales woman asked to see how I was doing and then she told me that the bra band was way too loose. She gave me some other smaller sizes, all of which were way too tight to the point of being extremely uncomfortable. - the band and underwire were digging into my skin! She told me that that's how it's supposed to fit because they stretch over time. I have worked in lingerie before and I knew that the fit was off. I thought what I put on hold was much better because it was snug, but not too tight...I'm the one wearing it. This sales woman said she "was not trying to talk me out of buying the bra" and that she "just wants me to find the perfect bra" and I know that. - It's just that her voice was very loud and and she came off as pushy by giving me all of these different bras and telling me what my actual size was without even measuring me. This woman a little rude when I bought the bra that I initially wanted. I don't think she wanted me to buy it just judging from her facial expression and because she thought it was "too loose". She didn't really seem too friendly when I asked about using the coupon vs. the member card. She also got annoyed when my mom asked about the subtotal of the purchase. - My mom wasn't there when I tried the bra on, so she didn't know how much it was. All in all, I don't mind this store, but I didn't like the lady helping me. read more

The salesperson that was helping me was trying very hard, but I found that the knowledge regarding proper bra fitting to be limited. I have required regular fittings for larger size bras since I was 16. To tell me that what I am looking for isn't made, especially when I am wearing it, is not a good sign. I explained the reason why certain styles she brought me were not a fit, showing shape and overflow issues. I asked for other styles to be brought, however she didn't understand or know the store's inventory well enough. I really wanted to buy something. I had the best experience at Change the other day! I've always loved the quality of these Bras...and being a larger breasted woman I always look for the best Support and style. Change has both. Sergine was an absolute dream. So attentive, ensured I always found the perfect size...and was just a delight to talk to. They were having a wonderful sale and she was so patient and sweet as I tried on so many different items to get the best deal. She even called out to different stores to find the right sizes for me when they ran out at her location. After reading rave reviews about Change (and having little luck at La Senza or Jacob Lingerie), I came here in my quest to find a decent strapless bra. 32C without a ton of padding, in black or nude. That's all I ask. I'm disappointed to say that I was unsuccessful at Change. A saleswoman measured me for my Change size (as I understand it, most women are wearing the wrong size bra, that's true, but the Euro sizing at Change is actually different than North American sizing... so it's not like getting sized at Change will give you the magical key to finding the perfect bras anywhere). She measured around my ribs and eyeballed my cup size - 30DD. She came back with a black bra that looked nice, but as soon as I put it on I saw the problem. The cups were extremely pointy. She came back to ask how it went, and I showed her the problem. She said this style is THE ONLY STRAPLESS BRA THEY CARRY. Yes, Change is a specialty lingerie store that carries only one style of strapless bra. Talk about a let down. She then asked me if there was any space left in the cup. Yes, because the cups were so darn pointy. It's like wearing pointy shoes, no your toes do not touch the ends! She suggested going down a size in the cup and seeing if that would help. I guess her theory was that stuffing my boob into a smaller cup might help round it out. Well that didn't work. Now not only did I have pointy boobs, but the top edges of the cups cut into my boobs resulting in major boob muffin tops. Needless to say, it wasn't a good look. She came to take another look, and explained that the pointyness made this style of bra a difficult fit for most of their customers. So then WHY CARRY IT? If you're only going to carry ONE style of strapless, why would you make it a Madonna cone bra?! She suggested I try The Bay, which is where I'll be headed today. So in summary, great customer service, but all the customer service in the world doesn't make up for an inadequate selection of products. read more

I went into the store after seeing a bra on display that I liked. The saleswoman (I don't know her name, but she was an older woman with long straight hair and glasses) said I would need to be fitted due to the European sizes. I felt a little uncomfortable with this, because I don't like people touching me that I don't know. I went to the change room with her, and as she was measuring me, she asked me if I was expecting. I was shocked by this, as I have just lost 30 pounds and am no longer plus sized at all. I told her I wasn't, and then she proceeded to comment on my big belly! For a store that caters to women who wear a large variety of sizes, staff should be working there that know how to make someone feel better about their body; not worse! Anyway I saw some of the reviews on yelp, and it looks like I'm not the only one this happened to. I would assume its the same woman I dealt with, since hopefully the rest of the staff would be intelligent enough not to insult customers. I stopped by Change last week to find out my size after being referred by a girlfriend and I am absolutely ecstatic with the service I received from the lovely staff. I did not catch their names but they were two younger girls, a blonde and a ginger haired girl with tattoos. They were very informative and helpful the entire time I was looking around. I was fitted by the blonde and even though I didn't end up buying anything that I tried on, she didn't act like I'd wasted her time when I decided to wait on making a purchase. All smiles. I've not had a shopping experience this positive in quite some time, so I felt the need to give some positive feedback!!! Love both the bras I own from here. They are by far the most comfortable and longest lasting bras I've owned so far. The only thing is that the service is a bit hit or miss here. My first ever experience here was amazing and I recommended a few friends to give it a try. However the second time I went in the service was a bit awkward. I didn't really like the sales associate commenting on how my boyfriend would love something sexy on me when I specifically asked for an everyday T-shirt bra and she still brought me crazy big lacey ones and insisted I try them on. After having been to the Change on Macdonald, having a good experience and finding bras there my size (very rare!), I decided to try the one on Cambie. This turned out to be the opposite. I found the staff extremely rude and inattentive. After reluctantly answering my questions about the sizes available, the staff told me that there weren't any trial rooms free at the time; people walked out of the rooms and I was still not let in. I waited for several minutes and eventually gave up and left, as the staff had also disappeared. Not going back there again. read more

I was lured to this place by the wonderful Yelp reviews, but should probably have done my research a bit better. Change is a multi-national franchise that sells only their own branded lingerie. What I am looking for is a lingerie store that carries a variety of mid to high end brands. To make the best of it, I did stay and check out their selection and try on a few styles. Their bras looked okay -- not up to my standard, but then, as I said, I am looking for mid to high end. I liked their large size range. I believe I saw from a 28 to 40 band size, and cup sizes all the way up to G. Prices are in the $50-60 range for most bras that I looked at. Quality-wise, they are definitely a notch above La Senza, but lovers of fine lingerie will be disappointed; you will find neither particularly gorgeous fabrics nor day-to-day bras that look like they were moulded to your body here. Not much to comment on for the service. The lady at the counter seemed nice enough and did predict my size fairly accurately (though she needed to use a tape measure; the last fitting I had, they just looked at me and told me the correct size in a multitude of different brands -- THAT was impressive, but I don't expect that level of know how from just any old bra store) Still looking for something that can compare to the beloved Secrets From Your Sister bra boutique in Toronto. I moved to Vancouver 2 years ago and have gone through most of my bras from before. Change does not fill that niche for me, unfortunately. I was wavering between two stars and three stars. I got a bra that's not on sale and would like to return/exchange, the owner just insisted that it's actually marked down originaly from $59.95 to $39.95. On my receipt, it's not a sale item and I understand I cannot return a sale item as it is final sale. The owner insisted giving me store credit instead of a credit card refund. I didn't want to make a scene and I do like Change's product, so I got a credit note instead. It clearly stated on the receipt that I can have 21 days to refund or exchange on brand new with tags product, but they didn't honor that policy. I felt quite disappointed. read more

While the staff were helpful, I'm not sure that I agree on this chain's philosophy of fitting you in fricking crazy tight bras and calling that your size. I want a bra I can wear this week - not after 2 months of breaking it in. I had to put an extender on the bra I bought as the pain was a bit much. Also, I found the selection really limited - so many of the bras had a ton of seams - not great for a wardrobe full of fitted shirts, unless you want your boobs to look like they have the mumps. A quick update to do due diligence to Change... I received a call back from the manager, Yvonne, who invited me to come in to the store to sort out my misery. Although she was unimpressed that I had taken all the tags off, she still was extremely attentive and seemed determined to make sure I walked away happy, which I really appreciated. Again, for the helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff I would like to give Change full marks. I was so happy to exchange the (unbelievably itchy, torturous, and uncomfortable) lace bras for a fabric which will hopefully prove less offensive to my skin. However, today I'm wearing one of the bras and although it is nothing like the nightmare of wearing one of the lace bras, I'm still not comfortable. I'm very aware of the rubbing and tightness of the band. I promise to come back for another update after I've worn the bra three or four times, handwashed it and dried it, as Yvonne suggested, and hopefully then I can bump up Change to four stars. I want to love you, Change, really I do... but should buying a bra be this labour-intensive? read more

Finally, a place where I can find comfortable, supportive bras that look nice & fit me. I have suggested this place to several people, from 28 to 80, and they have all come back happy. The staff at this location a really nice, and they often have sales too. I am on their email list so I can get in at the beginning of the sale, before my size is gone. read more

I have gone to the kitsilano location and stopped in this one to finally buy a bra. I really love this store because the bras are good quality and decent price, plus staff are knowledgeable and really helpful. I hate bra shopping and normally avoid it but left the story feeling great from the nice lingere i purchased and happy about some of the great deals the salesman suggested. PLUS they are always happy to do a bra fitting which everyone needs. read more
