I've known Lee-Lee for over 15 years, but only recently retained her for the purchase of my first home.
Lee-Lee is highly scheduled for closings because she is experienced, firm and understands the ins and outs of buying into the complex Manhattan coop market. At contract singing, Lee-Lee made sure to revise the contract to insure that I was given the most time available at each step of the process even though I didn't think I would need it. It turned out to be a good move because of all the potential snags that can arise with the loan commitment, board package, board interview and other details leading up to closing.
Up until closing, I dealt mostly with Lee-Lee's office, specifically Chin, and have to say the experience was as good as it gets. Chin is definitely on top of all the details, keeps things to the point (which is important when you're getting phone calls and e-mails from your attorney, the bank, the broker and of course family and friends) and also very knowledgeable about all the steps in the buying process. My closing was dragged out a little bit so she even called me to remind me to make sure to get my rate lock extended. My purchase was also slightly more complicated (although still pretty common) so she was very patient in explaining to me all the concepts and terms that had to be considered in drafting a contract rider. In the end, she made sure my needs were met.
Lee-Lee and Chin make a great team and you can rely on them to pull out the boxing gloves when they need to. read more
