Angelo and Associates were very professional and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. From the beginning, he took the time to ask what outcome we were hoping for in our case and gave us direct, honest advice. He clearly explained his strategy step by step so we knew exactly what to expect. When we got to court, he followed through on everything he said he was going to do and delivered the outcome we wanted. He was serious, efficient, and never wasted anyone's time. If I ever find myself in a similar situation again, I would absolutely work with him again and would highly recommend him to others. read more

I met Mr. Picerno at the courthouse while I was representing myself. Although he was not my attorney, he took a few moments to point me in the right direction when I was confused about a procedural issue and suggested that I speak with the clerk. I appreciated that he was willing to help a self-represented litigant with courtesy and professionalism. Thank you for taking the time to assist me. read more

These people deserve a -5 stars, this should definitely be an option. A 1 star rating is way too generous for them. I can bet my life the positive reviews are either paid or made by their own friends and families! People please be aware and take your hard earned money elsewhere to real attorneys with empathy and ethics. I had a tenant case with these folks, went the cheaper route only to have an attorney that never fought for me, would not call me for case updates on court dates, i had to practically hunt them down by email, phone, text exc and still had to wait days after the hearing to get an update. Also be prepared to be talked down and yelled at by Ms. Valentina who is either an attorney or an assistant til this point her credentials are not clear. Mr. Angelo picerno, worked over a year in one of my tenants case only to allow over 9 show of cause without putting up a fight for me, it was in his best interest to delay the case as much possible to of course get the fee he charged to show up in court monthly. You should not be allowed to stay in business and take advantage of small landlords as you have. Please please people i can not stress this enough, do your research and take your business where at least you will be respected as a client, guided and supported. read more

Picerno is very unprofessional. He takes on cases from other lawyers & puts them on the back burner. While the client Is sitting in court without any Updates Then sent home with another court date. When Picerno is confronted for an update he becomes disrespectful & irate. NO STARS FOR HIM! read more

I was served a petition for eviction at the start of the Covid-19 shutdown and times couldn't have been harder. Shopping around with no direction or understanding of what processess to expect, the costs involved, or even where to begin at I sought out advice through close friends and co-workers and was referred to Attorney Angelo Picerno. Ive dealt with a handful of attorneys for civil court related things in the past but never for a non-payment issue and Mr. Picerno helped me understand the processes to expect, thoroughly assisted with the steps along the way, and updated me promptly as we proceeded. I appreciate it when someone goes above and beyond to make sure there were no more doubt or questions to linger and Mr.Picerno did just that; and more. Thank you Picerno & Associates and thank you, Attorney Picerno, for making sure my rights were protected and saving my apartment- Thats priceless. Would rate 10 stars if I could. read more

Angelo Picerno has no concern for your case once the retainer has been paid and is very unprofessional . He doesnt return phone calls nor emails. The only time a call was received was after a refund was requested. Although convenient to the court, I should have googled him first and I would not have made the mistake of retaining him. He has poor ratings on AVVO from another client represented by him. read more

Picerno sells the idea that it is in both your interest to resolve the case as fast as possible, but what that really means is he doesn't care whether you win or lose. He wants to finish the case so he can move on to book his next paycheck. Picerno and his staff are very unprofessional and have terrible customer service when the case is delayed. Don't be surprised if he actually yells at his clients and belittles you. Expect delays, headaches, lots of unread emails / voicemails, lack of communications and miscommunications. read more

Angelo Picerno is hands on, email friendly and gets the job done. He does not Nickel and dime or mislead you.
