I do not recommend using Pardalis & Nohavicka. P&N took too long to analyze my case. During this time there was a chain of emails sent back and forth. I paid them on 5/20/25 10,000 dollars. By 6/5/25 their team of lawyers failed to give me a proper analysis of my case. I asked for a refund. I had to pay over 5000.00 just for P&N to tell me that they still had not a full analysis of my case. The lawyer I spoke to was not even a real estate lawyer. I had to find another lawyer to take my case. This was an absolute waste of time, energy and money. read more

Got a contract from an entertainment manager and I needed an experienced entertainment lawyer to look everything over. Had the pleasure of working with Gianna McArthur and Joe Nohavicka and I can't say enough nice things about them. They were so extremely thorough and they took the original contract which was extremely one sided (and immensely unfair) and they were able to revise it to make it fair and balanced on my side. The amount of work they had to do, they basically had to rewrite the entire contract which, as I mentioned, was so completely unfair towards me - the artist. Originally, there were so many hidden tricks and shitty loopholes that were buried within the middle of legal paragraphs that they were able to sniff out, revise and make it fair and balanced on my end. In the end, I decided not to work with the manager but, trust me...Gianna and Joe helped me dodge a bullet on this one. You read about entertainers getting screwed over by their agents and managers all the time but when I saw how awful this contract was, I was so glad I had real experienced professionals on my side looking out for my best interest. Gianna even took the time to speak with me on the phone (AT NO EXTRA CHARGE) to go over every single thing that was changed in the contract and explained to me the specific details of the before and after. I've worked with Joe and his firm a few times before and they never disappoint. I can't say enough nice things. Wow! The response from the owner speaks for itself, particularly considering he wrote it the day after he accessed my phone number through the company files to call and text me multiple times so he could "address my concerns" - (I was hoping and expecting no further contact once they failed to do what they were quite confident they could). I took him at his word (second mistake on my part, after hiring them!) and gave him 45 minutes of my time, which was 44 too much. He made excuses, patronized me by repeating his line of employers not having to provide severance (we don't provide parental leave in this country, who is stupid enough to think that employers are required to provide severance?) then babbling on about how he thinks he knows who the woman who was rude to me on the phone is but "I really hope it's not her, cuz I kinda like her, ya know?" Um no, bro. Despite our loooong conversation and my very clear outline in my initial review and in speaking to him, Taso seems to think my issue is with his firm's lack of success in securing me a better severance than I got on my own. To be clear, the reason for my low rating is the unprofessional and sloppy manner in which I was treated, and his nasty response to my accurate review after admitting to me the day before that he checked everything on his end after being upset by my post and sadly realized he and his employees dropped the ball. Also, I know you're a lawyer but develop a sense of humor and while you're at it, a healthy respect for semantics. Thank you so much for condescending to me and telling me that setting fire to money is a federal offense, you really saved me from making a big mistake because since I don't give my extra cash to useless lawyers anymore I just make a big bonfire with it every night! Also, "acerbic" doesn't mean what you think it does. Saying someone about to go on vacation (who mentioned said vacation several times) seems distracted and that she made multiple mistakes on her work is "factual" not "acerbic." I wish I would've recorded our convo (which thanks Taso, I know NY is a one-party consent law so no need to lawyersplain that one to me) as he admitted that sometimes "crazy people" write negative reviews on Yelp and he lobbies to get them deleted but that even he had to admit everything I said was accurate. Then he begged me to give him another shot and offered to help me if I ever needed legal representation in the future. After reading his ridiculous defense of his firm's behavior I can unequivocally say that even if they paid me I would never do business with such a dishonest and incompetent person again. read more

Just two years out of college - and a general litigation suit popped up in my life. I only speak with one of my peers regarding legal matters, and since she both comes from a family of means and continually complains about how difficult it is to find a competent and responsive lawyer, I knew I had my work cut out for me in order to effectively respond to the suit. After interviewing several firms, I chose to place Pardalis & Nohavicka LLP on retainer. I worked primarily with Edgar Cepeda, and to some extent Vivianna Schwoerer. I was impressed by the responsiveness, energy, and face of the firm. The vast majority of my email and phone contact with Edgar & co was responded to in less than twenty-four hours, sometimes much less. It's clear the lawyers in this firm enjoy what they're doing, Edgar prepared extensively for the key appearance in the case and brought strong arguments to the table. He presented reasonable arguments which fairly represented my opinion. Most importantly, at no point did I feel ethically or morally opposed to the logic used in our case, and I certainly can't say the same for the opposition. This is key, because I always hope the actions taken by legal council, on my behalf, will reflect favorably on my personal brand. In the end, the case outcome was impressive and the fee was more than reasonable.
