I've worked with them twice on my various physician employment contracts. I reached out initially 2 years ago and received a response right away. Alex gave me a call just a few hours later that evening, the office sent me an engagement letter the next day, I was going over my contract with Laura later that same week. Of course I reviewed the contracts myself, however I don't know what I don't know. On our phone appointment, Laura walked me through every paragraph to make sure I understood it all correctly and made sure to add in what I needed before sending a drafted revision. By the end, I was comfortable with what we drafted and I signed the contracts. I recently worked with her again, and the process was seamless. I had a very last minute opportunity and needed the contract reviewed quickly. I actually forgot to send her a copy of the contract ahead of time and sent it in minutes before our phone appointment. She was able to look it over anyway and we continued with our phone appointment as scheduled! We had our phone appointment on a Friday and she had the drafted revision back to me on Monday. I did not expect the turnaround to be so quick, but I am grateful that it was. The initial fee was $1200 I believe (I had 1 contract and a second smaller contract). It would've been a bit less if only had the one contract to go over. The second time I was given a discount as a returning client, around $800. Worth every penny in my opinion. All of my communication with Granovsky & Sundaresh has been pleasant and efficient. I'd absolutely recommend working with Laura. She's personable, friendly, and quick to respond. read more

Excellent, practical legal advice about employment and disability that saved a family member's job.

Granovsky & Sundaresh is an outstanding company. They completely exceeded my expectations and truly earned the highest rating from me. I was impressed with the company's culture. They were always accessible with timely communications and immediate responses to my inquiries. Their billing was impeccable and I was never overbilled. In fact, I believe that I have received a few breaks from them for the things other companies would have billed me. Both Alex Granovsky and Rudolph Delson are very knowledgeable and professional. Overall, I am very satisfied with the outcome and glad that I have decided to work with them. read more

I am bummed to leave this review, because many of the reviews are so positive. I reached out to this firm with an inquiry, and they almost immediately got back to me asking for documents related to my inquiry. I sent everything, and never heard back. I followed up periodically every week or so and.. crickets. If they didn't feel they could assist in my case inquiry, that's totally fine, but I'd at least expect an email letting me know. They just completely ghosted me. The lack of communication was super unprofessional. Now looking deeper into the reviews, I can see that this is a common theme for this firm. read more

Quick response time! Straight to the point. Listened to the situation and advised clearly and immediately. I would recommend Mr. Granovsky to everyone. Much appreciated. read more

I reached out to this attorney and had a consultation with Alex on April 26th. I was satisfied with our call and emailed him documentation that he requested on the 27th. I followed up via email the following week on May 2nd after receiving no response and did not receive a reply. I was put off by this, but assumed he might have needed a bit more time. While awaiting his response, I referred two other colleagues and sent him and his secretary an email notifying them of such on May 3rd. To this email I received a same day response which was really curious considering his lack of response to my previous email. Still I decided to wait a few more days and sent a second follow up email on May 6th. It's May 17th, 20 days later since my initial email and I still have not received a response from Alex. His lack of communication is absolutely unprofessional and I rescind my previous referrals. Poor communication from an attorney is the very last thing you want to deal with when making the serious decision to file suit which is already stressful enough as it is. read more

I just got off the phone with Alex. The reviews I've read about him are absolutely accurate. Even though he wasn't the kind of attorney I required, because it wasn't his specialty, he didn't rush me off the phone. He took the time to explain what kind of lawyer I may need. I would highly recommend this lawyer. read more

The consultation was in arranged time and questions were answered in the fast and dirrect manner.

When I called the office, the receptionist was a little rude and abrupt, but she did have Alex call me back. He spent less than 6 minutes talking to me (I timed it) and seemed distracted/uninterested the whole time. He asked me to send him my case file and then never got back to me even though I emailed him several times. Not even the courtesy of a "sorry, we are not able to take this case". read more

Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Called for advice about leaving a job and Granovsky basically couldn't be bothered. Sounded like he was doing dishes during our call as he mumbled stuff like "or you can sit on you a** and read the agreement yourself, Googling what you don't get." Ok, buddy! I'm not a CEO leaving Chevron, so $750 to say hello sounded high. And I didn't have much time to explain anything -- he sounded upset and had to get back to cleaning his cat's litterbox or whatever he was doing. (Call lasted less than 90 seconds.) As for this part of their website: "HERE'S HOW IT WORKS You pay a flat fee of $750 (waived for employees making under $100,000 per year)" I guess that's no longer valid as of '21. Update your site, Alex. read more

After leaving a ton of voicemails for other law firms and either not getting called back, being told they couldn't help me (or at least not sounding confident that they could), and/or not having the time to even schedule a consult for weeks out, I put a call in to Granovsky & Sundaresh, on a Federal holiday no less, after perusing their website and feeling like they specialize in exactly what I was dealing with. Alex called me back a few hours later and took the time to listen to what I needed help with, a pretty complicated and layered situation. He assured me that his firm could definitely help, went over the experience that his firm had helping employers and business owners in similar matters, and explained to me the process and next steps in detail. He set me up with a consult with one of the top lawyers at their firm, Rudy, who I would be able to speak with at length, as soon as the next day. From my first conversation with Rudy, it immediately become crystal clear to me that this firm meant business and would go the extra mile to help me with everything that was going on. What I appreciated the most, was not just Rudy's expansive wealth of knowledge of employment law, but his tactical, strategic approach to addressing and resolving issues in the most comprehensive, thoughtful, cost-effective way possible. Not only this, but I have never worked with an attorney that is just constantly "on-it". My emails are always returned practically instantly and time is always made available to chat on the phone in more detail if needed, very promptly, even after-hours, usually the very same day. The level of personalized attention and dedication that I receive - I don't think I've ever really experienced with any other attorney I've worked with, or even any other business in general for that matter. Can't beat that. In addition to helping me with my immediate concerns/situations, Rudy helped me to tighten up my employment systems from a more macro perspective as well as continues to provide me invaluable advice on how to best serve my business, my employees, and my clients. While I know it may sound cliche, I truly sleep better knowing that I have Rudy and the G&S firm in my corner. Very grateful. read more

I called the NYC Bar Assoc. for an employment attorney referral. Alex took care of it right away, hassle free, and very reasonable. I had no issues with the work. I also referred him to a business owner friend, who had a similar, painless experience. Alex is to law what I try to be with IT, that is to say quick turn-around, accurate, and just works. read more

I called the office of Granovsky & Sundaresh and left a message. Alex promptly returned my call to discuss some COVID-19 issues with my employees in New York. I highly recommend this law firm. As a lawyer myself, I appreciated Alex Granovsky's wealth of knowledge and thoughtful, practical advice in dealing with a relative's wrongful termination claim. Working with him was a bright spot in an otherwise difficult time. I would hire him again in a heartbeat to deal with any employment issue. read more

Let's be real here, you don't go to a lawyer because you want to. You go because you have to. When the stakes are high, you want someone who you can trust in your corner. These guys are it. Alex and Neeti helped me out with a contract matter. The other party and I were happy with the drafting they worked up. I recommend these guys - no hesitation. read more

I hired this law firm for an employment contract review. I was contacted quickly and within 48 hours they gave me an engagement contract. Attorney Melissa assisted me. She was very professional, kind, personable, and thorough. She took the time to answer all my questions and did not rush me. I had hired her for 3 hours and it t was definitely worth the money. She made sure I understood the contract clearly and helped me understand why employers sue employees and in what circumstances they are most likely to sue, which was very insightful. Frankly, I have not met many nice lawyers. It was refreshing to meet with Attorney Melissa. I felt that she genuinely cared and wanted to help me. I highly recommend her since she has practiced employment law for many years. read more

I had a unique employer situation and Alex was the first I reached out to. I could not be more disappointed. Not only did he interrupt me as I was explaining my situation, and make me feel absolutely stupid for making the call to begin with, he rushed me off the phone, and barely provided any type of "consultation." When I tried to inquire further due to his very unclear answers, his exact words were "I'm $425/hr so unless you intend on paying that, I have nothing further to say." Our call lasted less than 2 minutes. He clearly is only interested in money and is not even good at selling his own business to begin with. Unless you have a huge case that can be taken up with the supreme court, I suggest you give another lawyer a call because it's a COMPLETE WASTE OF YOUR TIME! read more

Great people, great lawyers! I sought help and advice from Granovsky and Sundaresh earlier this year. Alex was very good in hearing about my case and then patched me up with Rudy (Benjamin Rudolph Delson) as my primary lawyer. Rudy was very good in responding to all my queries and questions and also on advising on different aspects. Rudy is really a great lawyer and I'd highly recommend him to anyone seeking help. Rudy also followed up with me and checked in to make sure everything went smoothly till the very end. read more

Alex is a credit to the legal profession. He took on my case without any hesitation and delivered the result that I needed. He was very aggressive with the opposing side and made sure that they knew we meant business. He was easy to reach and always very comforting on the phone and via email. For all of your employment legal matters, Alex would be a wise choice in your quest to have an attorney on your side. Thank you again Alex! read more

Let's face it, there are attorneys that give the profession a bad name. Alex Granovsky is the EXACT opposite & is not only excellent at what he does but lends a "human" touch to the otherwise uncomfortable process of litigation. I wasn't sure where to go or what to do & felt overwhelmed by the whole ordeal until I stumbled upon this office. I had suffered a medical issue while working & his first question when we met was "1st of all, how do you feel...are you okay?" I will never forget that. His demeanor is always professional & straight forward. He tells you exactly what you're facing & what to expect, while answering any questions you have along the way. If you're on the fence about what lawyer to choose, don't waste your time looking any further; this guy is it! read more

Alex Granovsky is smart and kind and a lawyer. Weird combo, no? I am also an attorney, in a different field, and I love sending my clients, family members and friends to Alex when they have an issue with employment or severance. Alex is good at getting to the meat of the problem, identifying the issues and explaining if there is a case or concern. But the real reason I love referring to Alex is that it makes me look great - everyone I have sent to him (and it has been a lot) has been happy. And that makes me happy. read more

Granovsky & Sundaresh - Employment Law Near Me - New York, New York

If you want someone to represent you who makes you feel smart, important and listens use this firm. My brother is the head of litigation for the worlds biggest law firm and he also agrees that my case (which was won) yea, was handled perfectly. Alex as in Granovsky, is the most attentive and responsive lawyer I know. I have recommended him to others haven only spoken to him seven years ago for some legal advice. Their cases were won and they all agreed this firm is effective and amazing. Unfortunately I needed him to represent me in an employment case and it was closed my favor in record time. The best decision I made was to hire Alex as my lawyer. It was not first time I was in this situation but the first time I decided to lawyer up, best decision ever. read more

Alex and his team worked harder than expected. After receiving a baseless and vindictive cease-and-desist letter, he tried his best to resolve the issue and come to an agreement without resorting to litigation, getting me back to work and keeping the cost down as much as possible. Alex only suggested litigation after it was clear that my former employer was not interested in being reasonable or fair. Even though the ordeal ended up costing far more than it should have, it was ultimately a success. Throughout the extremely stressful process (not knowing if you will be permitted to work takes a toll), Alex was very patient with me and attentive. He and his team presented my options plainly and worked efficiently, keeping costs within his upfront ballpark estimate. read more
