Once she billed me $500 for writing a two sentence letter adjourning a court date. When I confronted her about it she barked at me "so take it off!" (as if to say, you busted me and I couldn't care less). That was after she had eaten most of my retainer so of course she didn't care. There were early warning signs of course, like the many times we'd be sitting in court waiting for my case to be heard and she'd lean over to me and say "that's a former client of mine" and I'd be wondering: why does she have so many "former clients" still in the system with new lawyers? Or often in court she'd lean over and make incindiery remarks about my ex and I'd be wondering: why is she purposely trying to get me all riled up like this? It's because she is a pro at taking advantage of people in their weakest moments. I don't just feel this person should be disbarred, I strongly feel she should be jailed and taken off the streets.
