We've been using Lisa's legal services since early 2012. She's held up our interest very well on the real estate front...maybe a little too well where there were side effects with interest rates floating the wrong direction during our timeframe. Better that than be bullied by an investor! It was an emotionally tough transaction we did because there were many factors outside our control. We love our property and wouldn't want to ever let it go. You have the risk of a bad attorney removed from the equation. So don't hestitate to use Lisa. Don't be penny wise pound foolish. If you want the property, listen to her advice before handing over your life savings to the seller's attorney. You get what you pay for. You need someone able to carry a loaded gattling gun, not a pea shooter without peas. You also need someone to tell you how to remove legal risk. If you plan to penny pinch on an expensive purchase on the most critical stakeholder that knows the lingo, you're making the biggest mistake of your life. How many times can you repeat buying property in New York and keeping them all? You can rest assure having legitimate and proper legal representation ups your chances a few notches. Reached out to Lisa for selling my business. She was very attentive and is always reachable both by email and phone. She was mainly the only one steering the wheels, as my landlord does not care who we sale the business to, and the opposite attorney was a very very "crazy", very uncooperative, and very nick picky individual! The buyer and I was technically the messenger between buyer's attorney, as he never reached out or response to any of Lisa's initial calls and emails. Lisa was very furious with the opposite lawyer and said to me "I do not know what is the point of you hiring me, if you have to be my messenger between the other attorney. The other attorney have all my contact information and reach me directly" That is exactly correct! After nearly 1 month and a half, I was getting very fed up with the buyer's attorney and I was literally talking very harshly to him and said, "reach out to my lawyer, she has all the paper work ready for you to review" then, the buyer's lawyer actually reached out to Lisa! Since we now know that we are dealing with a "crazy" attorney, I apologized to Lisa and asked her to just "do it the way he wants it done," and complete the closing! Finally!!! I have dealt with multiple attorneys, for real estate, immigration, and custody, and so far, Lisa is really one of the most attentive, responsive, and dedicative attorneys I have met.
