As soon as he placed the needles, I literally twisted & moved my back pain free. Immediate relief. By the placement of his needles, and the myriad certifications he has, I know he applies modern medical knowledge that works. The office is clean and well managed with a parking lot in the rear. Dr Zhang is skilled with needles and cupping. There is also an on site masseuse. Also they accept most insurance. There is another location in San Gabriel.

Did not know where to turn since the pain was worsening so decided to try acupuncture. Dr. Zhang is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me what he thought was going on. I understood even with my elementary level of Mandarin. Afterwards, I got acupuncture done. Dr. Zhang is very skilled and puts in the needles really quickly so there is minimal if any pain. He is great at distracting from the pain and did warn me if one would hurt more than another. After acupuncture, I also got cupping for the first time. It was a little scary but honestly it didn't really hurt that much, just more like pressure. It went by pretty quick. The entire visit was very enjoyable as Dr. Zhang and Coco are extremely friendly. They also accept many types of insurance so that was a nice plus. I ended up getting acupuncture one more time and my jaw doesn't hurt anymore! Even after the first time the pain was at least 80% better. I am truly impressed and would 100% return next time I need it!

At first, I thought it was a food allergy. I had taken Benadryl, but it didn't help. My husband suggested I go to urgent care, but I decided against it because I knew they would likely prescribe a steroid--which I'm allergic to--and I generally prefer to avoid pharmaceuticals when possible. Instead, I made an appointment with Dr. Wu, and I'm so glad I did. She was incredibly thorough, taking time to explain exactly how the treatment would work, where she would place the needles, and what I could expect to feel. Her gentle approach and detailed explanation really put me at ease. She has amazing bedside manner, and I could barely feel the needles as she worked on the areas affected by the rash, which had spread across my stomach, back, and neck. Within a week, the rash cleared up completely. Dr. Wu's healing hands are truly a gift--I believe they are anointed by God. Dr. Wu is absolutely the best! Herbal medicine is 8 dollars a bag of liquid which is twice as much as my old acupuncturist who left LA. I first went to see him at the end of 2016, I had migraines that were no joke. I'd be vomiting every time I had an episode, and I had no relief from any of the Western doctors or tests I'd tried. Dr. Zhao's acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine were a game changer. After four months of treatment, my back pain was completely gone, and I only had one migraine before my period, which is a total win. Fast forward to the beginning of this year, and my husband and I had been trying to conceive for over 1.5 years with no success. We were both tested and everything fine, even the ovulation-inducing meds our OB/GYN prescribed didn't work, my on is going to refer us to the reproductive center. We turned to Dr. Zhao again. After two months of acupuncture and medicine, we finally got the news we were waiting for. I'm pregnant, and it's all thanks to Dr. Zhao! I already had a blood test, and the result was positive. Dr. Zhao is amazing, and I'm so grateful for his help! And the staff Morgan is also super nice and helpful!

Listen, I hate needles and if I can avoid it I will, but I've been to Dr. Tu a handful of times…read moredue to lifting injuries or other injuries. To be honest, acupuncture is my last line of defense and I'll do it as my last resort just because I hate needles, but the fact that I keep coming here to fix myself despite the aversion to needles is a testament to how GOOD Jenny is. If you're an athlete, come here. She will understand, as she's an athlete herself, as she was an elite powerlifter and martial artist. She, as a clinician just "gets it." which is so important as a clinician! I want to show the few times she has literally and figuratively saved my ass: My sciatica. I went on a road trip and it flared up so bad that I contemplated going to the ER. I couldn't even touch the skin around my glutes, it was so bad that I had numbness and tingling in the saddle area, injection of toradol didn't work, vicodin didn't even work. I was in bed laying on my left side for days. I couldn't walk. My entire right side and some of my left from the low back to my heel hurt, and when I got there some of the symptoms subsided in it's intensity but it was still there. I'm a physical therapist, but II couldn't even do the easist exercises I would prescribe to my patients because it hurt so bad. I couldn't even tolerate any soft tissue massage. She did her work and her magic and brought my pain down to a manageable level where I could tolerate walking, sitting and going to a massage therapist (shout out to citris body workx) who aboslutely annhilated my piriformis and then I was fixed. She was able to get deep into the piriformis and into my hamstring insertion points (it was NOT painless but she did such an amazing job) If it weren't for Jenny, I wouldn't have been able to get there. More recently, she helped me with my neck and shoulder problems that have been getting worse over the past couple months and it came to a head a month ago. Again, acupuncture really fixed a lot of muscle trigger points that was causing the pain. and after a day or two I felt so much better. I even started lifting again (lightly). I am still going to her for the same issue, but the fact that I was living with probably an 8/10 pain (dull deep aching pain) and went to a 4-5/10 is amazing. For my sciatica I went from a 10/10 (as in, almost into the ER, sometimes crying) to a 4/10 immediately and was able to tolerate massage work from somewhere else. Also, if you like dry needling (like physical therapists outside of CA and CA athletic trainers do) then she does that as well.

Jenny is by far the best acupuncturist in town. I've had acupuncture done before and I believe and…read moreexperienced it's healing techniques. As an athlete the main goal is injury prevention and when you do get injured, you must immediately make it a priority to seek professional help. I came in because of shoulder pain.
