Needles are scary. Dr. Fong is not!…read more I've seen Dr. Fong on two separate occasions--once for sciatica pain and another time for an aching Achilles tendon caused by tight calves and hamstrings from running. Both times, he was caring, gentle, and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He treated the problem areas and also recommended some helpful stretches to loosen up my muscles and address the underlying stiffness. I especially appreciated that he didn't just treat the discomfort and send me on my way. He took the time to educate me on what might be contributing to it and what I could do at home to help. Dr. Fong has a calm, thoughtful approach that makes the whole experience surprisingly relaxing. If the thought of acupuncture has you imagining a human pincushion, don't worry--you're in good hands here. Five stars for great care, a gentle touch, and some very happy calves and hamstrings!

At this point, I genuinely look forward to my sessions. With a toddler at home, it's become my little pocket of "me time", and I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Type of care and quality is wonderful. I always get the help that I need from every acupuncturist…read moreand I have been going here for almost 2 decades. Unfortunately, the office experience is always a gamble. Today I bought a $100 gift card for a referral as they always need new patients and my friend could really use their services. They made me go across the street to get cash and then they still did not validate my parking, saying that I needed a service before I could do that even though I spent $100 in my faces on their brochure. Even though I asked them to talk to their manager, they said that their manager was not available, who I know. They came to my wedding. So I'm just not sure who to believe, and I am not taking care of which worries me about the rest of their patients. With all the experience that we have had together, and the fact that I trust, no other acupuncture office, I can't give them anything less than five stars, and I never will. There is nobody else I could go to. But I do hope that they start letting their customers get validated when they are paying customers, that is how you make money in a business ethically.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to really understand what I needed. Tried acupuncture for the first time and wow -- it did wonders. I left feeling noticeably less stressed. Massages here are relaxing and effective, though consistency can vary a bit depending on the therapist. Highly recommended!

I found Dr. Chen during one of the most difficult times of my life…read more After a medical diagnosis, my nervous system seemed to go haywire, and I developed severe insomnia. At one point, I was unable to sleep at all. I was extremely averse to medication and initially refused any treatment. I found Dr. Chen and began acupuncture. I still wasn't sleeping, but after a few sessions, Dr. Chen gently advised me that I should consider taking medication. Because I trusted him, I listened. I took a short course of medication, and eventually I went back to sleeping like a baby. Dr. Chen was there throughout my entire period of suffering and healing, and I credit his expertise in acupuncture as an important part of my recovery. Before finding Dr. Chen, I had seen another acupuncturist who did absolutely nothing for me. The office was the definition of "Zen"--water sounds, beautiful scents, peaceful surroundings--and it cost a whole lot of money. And yet I was awake the entire time. Dr. Chen's office is the complete opposite. It is very no-frills, with bright lights and phones ringing. And somehow, every single time the needles are in, my body lets go. I enter what feels like a deep parasympathetic state and actually fall asleep or nap. Every. Single. Time. That, to me, says everything. You don't need a perfectly designed environment to relax when you are in the hands of someone whose expertise allows your body to feel safe. Dr. Chen was not only my acupuncturist during an incredibly difficult chapter; he was someone I trusted when I was scared and didn't know what to do. I am deeply grateful that I found him. I love him and his wife Jenny and refer everyone to them!

First Time and Great Results!…read more Hurt and shifted a disc in my lower spine. I was referred by a friend to CYY for a first time experience for Acupuncture. I tired compression braces, aleve, Icy hots, Solonpas patch's, yoga rollers, exercises and I kept re-injuring my lower back (3rd time). When I made my first visit I was on my 7th day of recovery and was not able to stand straight without a compression brace. Lower back was completely loosened after visit. 2nd visit I was able to move with full motion, no back brace. I stand all day and do mfg work so I highly recommend this place if you need to recover fast. Price was very affordable, since I spent about $125 at target for all the braces and medication. My lower back loosened up in one visit and I had a second to fully be able to twist. I feel I had a lot of pressure release with the acupuncture and cupping. You can feel the relief if you are hurting really bad. Highly recommended thank you CYY!
