Not only do they want full signed contracts from both sides but also a proof of payment in order to dispute the disputed review. I was able to provide the original and signed contract that I found from 6 years ago, but that was not good enough so they still took my review down. I hired them for my hair and makeup for my self and several of my bridesmaids, as well as a few of my family members. On my trial, I was blown away with how my hair and makeup was done and it was soo beautiful! The women were so friendly and relatable and I really enjoyed them! Come the day of my wedding, I really thought they would either have more workers with them or do a better job, either or would have been fine. There were only 2 girls for what seemed like hair and makeup for 6-9 people including myself. Due to this reason, we had to schedule each girl for their session and could not all hang out together the day of the wedding. That was not too bad, I was just a little annoyed. The real issue here is that they did all of our hair and makeup and our hair curls fell out within 30-40 min of getting our hair done. They even tried to redo a few of the girl's hair a several times and it would fall immediately. The makeup look they did on my trial was not the same makeup they did on my wedding day. My eyelashes were glued on top of my eyelids and my eyeliner made it look like I had very small eyes that would not open. My eyelashes were so bad that it looks like I had one lazy eye the entire day and this ruined ALLLLL of my wedding photos. I to this day refuse to print or look at any of the photos because it makes me so sad how bad it looks. I am posting this hoping someone else doesnt waste over $1k to do the same or lower quality job that you or I could do at a wedding. I never received a response to my message, so I called. The person that answer confirmed the owner had received message and told me a person outside their salon would be a "better fit." I reached out to that person as well and received no response. Message received. The whole experience was disappointing and honestly painful. Looking for a new stylist as a queer/trans person already comes with a lot of anxiety around whether a space will actually be safe and welcoming. Sadly, this interactions let me know that my concerns were real. I can't speak to their intentions, but I can speak to the impact: I did not feel welcomed, wanted, or safe as a prospective LGBTQ client. I wish businesses could be more direct about who they aren't prepared to serve, because being quietly redirected elsewhere after explicitly asking for a queer/trans-friendly space feels awful.

One thing she said from the beginning was: "I got you" and she sure did. She was literally my fairy-god-make-up and hair mother!!! Side note- the odds were against us on my wedding day as it was the first rain of the season and boy did it rain like crazy that day.
