I am currently fighting a disputed review with this company that I hired for my wedding. Please know that vendors can dispute real reviews on the wedding wire and the knot. Not only do they want full signed contracts from both sides but also a proof of payment in order to dispute the disputed review. I was able to provide the original and signed contract that I found from 6 years ago, but that was not good enough so they still took my review down. I hired them for my hair and makeup for my self and several of my bridesmaids, as well as a few of my family members. On my trial, I was blown away with how my hair and makeup was done and it was soo beautiful! The women were so friendly and relatable and I really enjoyed them! Come the day of my wedding, I really thought they would either have more workers with them or do a better job, either or would have been fine. There were only 2 girls for what seemed like hair and makeup for 6-9 people including myself. Due to this reason, we had to schedule each girl for their session and could not all hang out together the day of the wedding. That was not too bad, I was just a little annoyed. The real issue here is that they did all of our hair and makeup and our hair curls fell out within 30-40 min of getting our hair done. They even tried to redo a few of the girl's hair a several times and it would fall immediately. The makeup look they did on my trial was not the same makeup they did on my wedding day. My eyelashes were glued on top of my eyelids and my eyeliner made it look like I had very small eyes that would not open. My eyelashes were so bad that it looks like I had one lazy eye the entire day and this ruined ALLLLL of my wedding photos. I to this day refuse to print or look at any of the photos because it makes me so sad how bad it looks. I am posting this hoping someone else doesnt waste over $1k to do the same or lower quality job that you or I could do at a wedding. I would not recommend at all. I came in for my bridal hair trial along with my MOH for her makeup trial and one of my bridesmaids just for the experience. The duo was running 15 minutes behind due to a prior client which lead to us feeling rush during our scheduled appt. My MOH came in with light makeup on due to the timing of the day and with prior engagements. She was informed that there were no makeup wipes left, that lead to my bridesmaid having to rummage through her car to find a makeup wipe to be able to begin the process. My bridal hair trial was mundane and I left with hair (loose curls) that I achieve on my own as an everyday hairstyle. Not to mention those curls are already flat, 2 hours later. My MOHs eyebrows and lipstick had started smudging and was gone within an hour. The whole trial was unprofessional, I left feeling discouraged and not like an important bride at all. read more

A few things I look for when recommending beauty teams to brides are the following: 1. Responsiveness & Communication- It's important that your beauty team is available to communicate with you and chat about the expectations of timing, services, etc. These two WERE GREAT at communicating prior and during the whole process. 2. Quality The bridesmaids looked beautiful and I think a huge thing to note is that this particular bridal party was very diverse and they knew how to cater to each of the girls skin types, hair differences, etc. 3. Efficient - timeline is key to my team and often times hair & makeup can put us behind on timeline for numerous reasons, however this was not the case at all. Katie is a true spray tan gem! I currently live in Las Vegas, but I'm getting married in California. Tried her out while I was home for my bridal shower as a little test run and had her booked for my wedding tan before she walked out the door. She's a true pro! Punctual, prepared and most importantly...my tan looks amazing! I was ecstatic when she casually mentioned that they use Norvell. I have been getting blowouts from Kaylyn for a couple years now. There is honestly is no comparison! I have used her for job interviews (got the job), special events and really just when I want to have a good hair day. She came over the morning of my bridal shower and did all my girlfriends the best blow outs. They all agreed their hair never looked better! She is extremely professional and easy to talk to. I actually recently visited the dry bar because she was booked. I realized how much better she is at blowouts compared to a blowout salon. My hair always is perfection after I leave!
