I was drawn to the Solomon XA forces boot and they had the woman's style on display. They also have several long sleeve shirts that I like too They have a lot of the Patagonia and Columbia style clothing on display which were nice. There is a very nice Columbia duffle roller bag that is quite large for only $430! I was helped by 2 of the employees which again is something that is hard to come by at any of the big box sporting goods stores. I liked what I saw and it was a decent experience for my first time here

As a swimmer growing up I always…read morewanted to see items before I purchased them, and this is the first time in my life--of course well after my own swim "career" has ended--that I can. My kids will never know how lucky they are, ha ha! Sport Fair has just about everything except Tyr. I miss that brand but I love Speedo and Arena products just as much. The amount of stock is amazing, and the accoutrements are all there from special towels and goggles to training aids and drag suits. They might not carry every specialty item you dream of, but they carry a reasonable facsimile and as I like to say, all you need to do swimming is a suit and goggles. All that other stuff is just other stuff you gotta keep up with! I've ordered branded swim caps through Sport Fair and have been really happy with the quality. I've purchased training suits for me (the giant drag suits), goggles, swim caps, and suits for my kids. In particular I was thrilled to get toddler size speedo suits for my daughters so they don't have to wear Target bargains. If you want your kid to learn to swim, they have to enjoy it and being dragged to the bottom by a stupid tutu or other absurd sexist decoration on a toddler suit from target is not my idea of fun! So not only have I thought the suits from here to be more fun for my kids, but safer, too. Really pleased to have this gem in our community.

I had a fantastic experience here with choosing my new running sneakers…read more About a decade ago, another running store introduced me to the ASICS Gel Kayano and it suited me well year after year. I had no problem buying the updated versions online. However, the latest model absolutely destroyed my feet that I would feel pains in my arches and soles after only 3 miles! The most terrible thing is that the ASICS online store does not take returns or exchanges for worn shoes so I was out of $300 with almost brand new shoes. I searched around Arlington for a store that would assess my gait and also a store that would take returns/exchanges so that I would have to be strictly liable for running shoes that do not fit. Pacers fit the bill and so much more! The representative (apologies for forgetting his name) was SO helpful. He performed various tests on my feet, and recommended several models. He was quite knowledgeable about the different running shoes and discussed their pros and cons with ease. I ultimately left with new Brooks running shoes, which has restored my running to be enjoyable again. Highly recommend if you are searching for new shoes!

Disappointing customer service at the Clarendon lululemon…read more I was very disappointed by how a product-quality issue was handled at this location. I purchased sweaters for my two boys at the same time. Both were worn only a few times and washed once according to the care instructions, and both noticeably shrank. I brought one sweater to another lululemon location, where the staff inspected it, acknowledged the issue, apologized, and issued a refund. I was very appreciative of how professionally they handled the situation. I then brought the second sweater, which had the same issue, to the Clarendon location. Unfortunately, the experience was completely different. The store refused a refund and offered to exchange it for the same sweater. I was also kept waiting and told that I needed to contact another department. An exchange for the same item does not seem like a reasonable solution when the concern is that the product itself shrank after only one wash. I also found it very frustrating to receive such different treatment at two lululemon locations regarding essentially the same issue. I have contacted lululemon corporate customer service to request that the matter be reviewed. I hope the company will stand behind its products and ensure that customers receive consistent and respectful service across its locations. This experience was particularly disappointing because I otherwise expected much better from lululemon.

It really sucks to spend a lot of money on merchandise and then hear the store manager complain at me for buying it (I bought it online and wanted to pick it up at the store so I could try some things on in person-- I am under the impression this is the reason the "pickup in store" option exists. Instead of being polite I got a rant about how out of line I was to pick it up in the store. Awesome). I can't agree more with the reviews that highlight the crummy attitudes of the staff here. I really liked your stuff, Athleta, but your customer service and communication is terrible, and I'm taking my money elsewhere from now on.
