Such a cute bakery. Amazing selection! Each treat was so delicious. I was shocked by the total of my order, I expected to pay double but prices are so affordable. Very kind cashier!

Review #999 What a delightful bakery! They have a festive storefront filled with Mexican treats like Conchas, but surprised me with Dutch danishes and other baked goods. Bring cash and get the best deal. Friendly proprietors love talking about this biz!

The service is always friendly and quick. The product variety is very good, in spite it is a small place, They have traditional Mexican bread and a "regular" stuff such as danish pasties, etc. Don't forget to try the canolis, They offer them in many diffetent shapes, very creative! and they are delicious too!

Cute spot. Treats are soooo delicious! I will be back and will be dreaming of this place until I can return again!

We ate the jalapeño cheese danish before even thinking about taking a picture. So good! This is the cheese danish.

We went to Champis for the first time and the owner was very friendly and helped us right away. Great ambience. We got jalapeño and cheese danish and they were AMAZING! We also got almond bear claw, sugar cookie and cheese danish. Less than $12 for all of that. 10/10 would recommend!

We ordered five dozen mixed pastries for my nephews birthday the day before the party and I am so impressed. They were so kind and helpful. They gave an incredible assortment. My mom and I couldn't wait to the party and stole a few for the car ride home. Man, these are great! I had the pineapple empanada and it was flaky, and had real pineapple in it. My mom had envuelto and she said it was the best one she's ever had. The cake was light and airy but every component worked together perfectly. We would highly recommend Champis for a family event but also a weekend treat. We will for sure be back!

I asked the guy if he has seen the one in Seattle and he said he was from Spokane Washington, which is why he probably opened this place, based on the success of the Seattle location. I felt bad because the city of Phoenix health dept made this poor guy jump through 3 months worth of hoops in order to open a little doughnut store after he already signed the lease. Ticky tacky stuff like water connections etc. Sad considering the pathetic state of economy here in Phoenix AZ. The guy said he was 30 grand in the hole just when he opened the place 3 weeks ago. But business aside, these doughnuts tasted great. Hot fresh and only a buck. Try them. 5 stars for hot doughnuts for a buck. After this guys story I had to post a review and list this business to help this guy out. P.S Shame on you city of Phoenix for hurting small business owners and scaring away potential tax dollars.

(keep in mind these are mini donuts, we are not pigs...well maybe just Lil ones) Anyhow, they were all delicious and I am CONTEMPLATING about jumping in my car and making the the 25 minute drive in this 104 degree weather as I'm writing this review. The donuts were hot, freshly fried bite sized little orbits of softness with a shell of light crispness. Sooo good! Similar to the kind you get at the fair. The lady there told me they are best eaten fresh. But my neighbor sure loved them after I brought some home for her an hour later. A bit of info... the place can be a bit tricky to find. It's a stall in the Mercado swapmeet-like section connected to Desert Sky Mall.

I was waiting for Zia Records to open in this plaza when I noticed Lucky Donuts in the corner and I just had to come in and get a couple for breakfast. This shop is simple enough where you enter, see a ton of donuts, a case full of drinks, and some other random stuff, but mostly I'm just here for the donuts. The employee working was super freaking friendly and ended up giving me a free donut because I had to wait for literally one minute for her to come up, which is 100% absolutely not a problem at all, but it was super sweet of her anyway. I ended up ordering a glaze crawler and a chocolate frosted donut as well, and I think the free one was maple glazed if I'm not mistaken. All three of the donuts were top notch delicious and I can't think of a single non positive thing to say. Overall, Lucky Donuts might just be a standard donut shop, but top notch service and delicious donuts make this place something special. Hungry? Lucky Donuts got you.

I'm glad I walked in here over Circle K (in the same plaza). These freshly made tasty little snacks were a better choice.
