I was told I needed to prepay for the item which I did, and also paid for a service call of $150.00. The part arrived today and Caesar came back ASAP and began working on reinstalling the new system on the door. Understand that it was quite an ordeal and it took him a lot longer than either of us thought it would. He finished the work and stated that there would be a labor charge for the installation. The part I prepaid seem expensive, but... I agreed, he came back and that price had doubled... After all was said and done the total I paid was $981.88! YIKES! I contacted Emtek and asked them for the MSRP of the product they installed. The MSRP for the unit from the factory is $311! I found online that several suppliers and found the item for $248 .80 MSRP $311.00 Save $62.20 (20% OFF) + FREE SHIPPING at MyKnobs, Inc, 14 Bayville Ave Bayville, NY 11709. When I called Bobs Lock Safe and Key the person said about the price I paid "That Sounds About Right!" So... The service was good, but they are VERY EXPENSIVE! But... Probably I guess they can charge what they want, where else are you going to go....

Yes, I experienced this recently and Bob (or one of his buddies) came out to save the day. They were incredibly fast to respond and arrive; then in just a few minutes, we were in! This is our third time around with Argenta and setting up a system. I think most people think…read morethey're just a home theatre shop, but they also sell 2-channel systems and offer a lot of great options for equipment. I previously worked with Justin on the setup of our home theater, and they did a stellar 5 star rating on that job. It still sounds and works really well. For this project we wanted a new 2-channel setup and Justin worked with me all the way. He talked to me on the phone and over text about my options, during business hours and even after business hours. He has a real passion for 2-channel systems, so can talk about it forever and offers a lot of insight into what one needs based on room, budget, preferable sources, etc. Justin and Declan came up to our house and did the install over the course of a few hours and it was amazing. I can't say enough good things about their care of the equipment, our house, and the detail they showed in setting everything up and then measuring it. You really cannot go wrong with them. If you're looking for a home theater or 2-channel system I would start by giving Justin a call as chances are he will be able to find a solution to your needs and offer great insight. I am just writing this review after having two projects (about 4 total days of work) - my wife and…read moreI moved out to Salt Lake City recently and the house we purchased was not wired at all. Tanner with Argenta was excellent at planning a way in which to wire ethernet and fiber throughout the house in a way that was minimally invasive. We also had speaker wire routed from existing speakers to a central location in the garage (along with the ethernet/fiber) with Sonos Amps, along with your typical TV/speaker mounting. The planning process was very smooth and excellent communication throughout. Tanner is a standup guy, very knowledgeable (even figured out a great small TV to fit in our kitchen perfectly). In addition, we had Starlink setup as a backup ISP given Comcast's inconsistency. Specifically on the install work, Tanner C (different Tanner) aka "TanC", and Ray, were my primary guys for all the onsite work. These two are rockstars, efficient, incredibly clean (no mess left whatsoever), smart (I only have to say things once and they just "get it") and are excellent at their craft. They really can work magic with an existing home, and went well beyond my expectations. If you have an existing house, I highly recommend these two (and obviously Argenta does new builds and I'm sure Tanner is great as a project designer for that as well).
