Quality, follow-thru service. The free Champion window cleaner spray - which works really well.

He came out and was very nice, professional and gave me helpful tips not related to the job. I sent in my deposit and waited for 3 weeks before giving Lou a call since he apparently does the scheduling. Lou isn't good at calling back (see first multiple attempts for quote). Again, I had to call Mike to get any response. Lou then called back and got me on the schedule within the week. Pro tip - only deal with Mike. Come the day of work, the two-team squad came over an hour late. At one point their grinder broke and had to be replaced that day. Later that afternoon, the two guys started to REALLY argue with each other - it was embarrassing, and the older gentleman told the younger one to go home and "he'll find a ride - JUST GO!!" About an hour later, another team came to pick up the older guy and clean up. To be honest, the younger one definitely seemed to be slacking most of the day. Anyways, the older guy came to the door and said they couldn't finish today (he did not tell me what happened, even though I knew) and that someone will call later to say when they'll be back out. There was no guarantee they would be back the next day! What?? So... back to you know who, Lou - because he's the scheduler. Fancy that - no call that night. I called Lou the next morning and asked what's going on -- again, on VM. Does Lou ever answer his phone?? At 11am, another crew was at my house - no call or anything. I was out running errands and left the garage open - good thing! They finished up and the outcome looked really good. However, I'm a bit of a perfectionist and this wasn't perfect. There's noticeable areas where the clear-coat is thicker than other spots. They said it would be level but it's not. They also scuffed up my walls - thankfully in areas that will be hidden. The ONLY reason they got 3 stars is because of the finished product. If everything else was handled better - 5 stars. Overall, they were much cheaper than the competition and so dealing with the hassle for the price was OK to me. Perhaps that's their motto? Oh. Lou called me that afternoon to make sure his team came by to finish up. It was a quick call, just to verify, and never apologized or asked how everything was. This company gives the impression they just want to turn and burn as quickly as possible - proper customer service is non-existent outside of Mike. I do really like my "new" garage, though.

A friend, who had a high-end house, had his windows and patio door replaced by HomeSealed with Okna products, a brand I had never heard of. I was so impressed with the quality and looks of his windows and patio door, I called HomeSealed and arranged for replacements. I love the windows. It's 0 degrees F right now, and I can run my hand around the windows, and not a draft anywhere. Same with the patio door. The windows are easy cleaning, they lock securely, and the install job was great, with little damage to exiting trim. Great warranty too and an easy online service portal if something is not right. I had rental units and used a discount window company for replacements, and those windows failed frequently. You get what you pay for, and this is an investment that will last many years and pay for itself in fuel savings. If you have the funds for Pella or Anderson's best, you ought to check out Okna. If you're thinking about windows from a big-box store, good luck if there's an install problem, or parts/ warranty service are needed.

Can't frankly say how good they are at the job - because they failed at the sales cycle…read more For four windows in a base configuration, they were north of $14k. To put in perspective: Home Depot installed the highest end Simonton windows possible with the specs requested and came in at around $7k installed. Which means that HomeSealed has excessive profits padded in. So...if you don't care about the money side, they might be perfectly fine to work with as a local outfit. EDIT: laminated was requested as a cost compare option, not a requirement. Even if laminated were a requirement, Home Depot's was still cheaper by over $3k. Fact is - as we said - HomeSealed is just priced higher because they don't use every manufacturer, they only use the ones they use, which tend to lean the higher cost. That's what we said: they might be fine at their job and you might want the best of whatever, maybe they're fine. BUT...if you're like 95% of homeowners who feel that significant pricing differences for basic things like colors is illogical, HomeSealed isn't for you.
