I really like this place. The lady who was behind the counter was very friendly and super sweet. I decided on the donuts and kolaches that I've included pictures of: Filled Apple, Cinnamon sugar cake, Spicy Boudin kolache, and mini Cinnamon rolls. She even gave me some donut holes to try. I liked everything. The donut holes melted in my mouth and thankfully she included a 1/2 dozen of those things. (I'll be ordering those next time) the mini-cinnamon rolls were yeasty in the best possible way and I was sad when they were gone. The spicy boudin kolache was one of the best Kolaches I've had in a long time. I've never been a fan of them but I love boudin and I'm really glad I tried it. And both of the donuts were perfect. The filled Apple was nice and light as was the cinnamon cake donut which took me by surprise. I will most definitely be coming back. read more

Some of my favorite donuts are the filled donuts. My all time favorite, being the Long John. Kudos to Champion Donuts for having "Long John" donuts, a lot of places don't or call it something else. What I really liked is that they don't fill the donuts until you order it, and you have an option of about 4 or 5 fillings. I've never been to a donut shop that does this. I went with the custard filling and she filled it allllll the way through. There was no worry about whether or not I would get filling with every bite. The dough was nice and light, fried just right in my opinion. I also went for a blueberry donut and am happy to say I got a blueberry flavor in every bite too. The woman working the register was very kind and seemed very positive/happy. There was also a group of older gentlemen with some classic cars sitting inside together, enjoying coffee and donuts. It seemed like a Sunday tradition and I enjoyed the atmosphere. read more

Great donuts and kolaches and friendly service, buttttt..... since I've been coming for the last year I've noticed that I have been overcharged every other time. 3 small kolaches (1.40) and a doz donut holes (.60) and they say my total is $6.95?!? Doesn't seem like a lot of money but it's the pure principle for me. My total should be $4.80 plus tax. So no more champion donuts for me as this has been going on too long. read more

Very friendly woman waiting to help me when I walked in. Area was clean and everything looked pretty fresh. The donuts were shiny! Coolers to the left for drinks so I told her what I wanted and got a couple drinks for myself and my wife. After eating what I got which was two tacos and two kolaches, they were very good! Got a little salsa for the tacos too. My reason for not giving 5 stars is because the kolaches aren't marked. You don't really know what they have, though they seem to have a lot, unless you ask if they have something in particular or just say that you want it. She quickly warmed everything up, inside a small bag that fit everything I ordered very nicely for easy transport. read more

Although the food is good I'm going to have to give it to Star because there were two adults and a child behind the counter all three serving food none of them wearing gloves or masks which is required recover guidelines I don't understand why people think they don't have to follow the rules when I asked for their masks were they said they don't wear them all the time because they forget read more

You might think a donut is just a donut, but not so ! The glazed donuts here are big and actually melt in your mouth. The kolaches are out if this world. Plus there are breakfast croissants, breakfast tacos, apple fritters, and many other delicious treats. We have tried all the donuts shops in the area and Champion Donuts beats them all. Plus the lady there is just the sweetest, nicest person. And if you are lucky, you might meet up with the local car guys who meet there some mornings. The boudin kolaches are the best I've had! I work all over the city and frequent many donut places and I was very pleased with this place. The jalapeño boudin is the best! Donuts are fresh and the lady working there couldn't be nicer. She's eager to heat up your food and make sure you are pleased. She even gave me a free donut to try!
