My check engine light had recently lit up, and instead of inventing problems, he gave me a free diagnostic (since I had a diagnostic done a year ago) and he simply reset the light--no upsells, no tricks. Harry is extremely responsive and genuinely cares about his clients. During a stressful moment, I broke down in tears in the office, and he came out, gave me a huge hug, and made me feel seen and supported. That kind of compassion is rare. Before that he had tried many mechanics over many years. Trustworthy, thorough, knowledgeable, honest, good communicators, fairly priced, good estimators and most of all reliable and great work. They go the extra mile so to speak. How many businesses can one say that about consistently over 15+ years? They were first late Dad's mechanic. Later, they also became my brother's and my mom's mechanic. When I came back from Cincinnati, USA in 2003 and my car warranty ended I went to them and I of course have never have left. Both calls I made to the shop were handled nicely by the team there, especially Kelsey. I immediately felt comfortable having the work done at Good News. Kelsey let me know part way through the day that one of the recommended repairs was not required, but a different fix would be needed. Kelsey and the Good News team managed the change in plan efficiently, had the quotes ready for me, and I felt they gave me sound advice to make good choices. This place is terrible. i paid 1500 to have work done that didn't need to be done. My car had the…read moresame problem the day after it was "fixed".I went back and had to keep calling daily to see if it they fixed the issue that i had already paid for. After 4 days they said they dont know what the problem is, but for a extra 200 they could put some piece in my catalatic converter of for 500 change it. My issue was an engine problem it was shaking when i drove it. It had nothing to do with the catalytic converter. it wasnt getting compression. The mechanic didn't even speak english. I dont know if they even did the work i paid for. I took it to another mechanic who is Caucasian and he told me it wasn't getting compression as the valves weren't opening fully and there is build up of carbon in the engine. He didnt even charge me for a diagnostic. Which took him a few hours to complete. I will never go to Deans again. I paid hard earned money and still got screwed over.

I had problems with my brake lights. I finally bit the bullet and took my truck to Judgemotive, not…read moreknowing what to expect. My neighbor recommended them to me. I usually try to fix issues myself as I am a total DIYer. But this time, I was stumped. I have a 2005 Chevy Blazer and according to all of the YT videos it was only a matter of changing a Circuit Board... The Trailblazer and the S10 have it so why not the Blazer...??? Then the guys at Judgemotive got on it. I watched as the went over the Wiring Schematic then left them alone. When I came back a mechanic named Sehaj had my dash ripped to pieces. Inside, I was freaking. They finally found the problem. It was in my Signal Light Switch (Multi-function Switch). I would never have found that problem in a million years... They couldn't find a new one, so while they searched, I did a different search and found a replacement. The let me buy the replacement and bring it in a few days later. In a couple of hours Sehaj had it installed and the dash back in place... The lights work great now. What really blew my mind about Judgemotive was what it cost... Not even half of what I was expecting. I can't say enough about the professionalism, the speed they work at and the Cost. These people bend over backwards for their customers. I fully endorse this business. It's the best :-)

It was 2:00 pm and really busy. They were so nice to me. Assured me they could get the job done in a couple of hours. True enough, I was outta there just before 4:00. Sunny charged me slightly less than my regular mechanic. His wait room is nicer as well. Located across the ave from the Burger Baron is also convenient. They really saved my skin that day.
