1-Star Review My experience with Champ Motors in Roswell was very disappointing. I drove about an hour to purchase a vehicle and put $9,200 down in money orders. The salesperson, Chris, told me I was approved, but I was unable to take the vehicle home that day. I was later told to pick it up outside the dealership gate. I was also advised to leave the money orders blank. On the day I picked up the vehicle, Chris told me it was a "great car" and "mechanically sound." I then discovered that the front and rear brakes needed replacement, which is a serious safety concern. Chris provided pricing of about $500 for parts and labor through their dealer pricing. I asked the dealership to help with the repair. After speaking with the owner, Alexey Antonov, I was offered approximately $150. I understand used vehicles can require maintenance, but brakes are a critical safety issue. I relied on the dealership's representation that the vehicle was mechanically sound. I have kept the messages, estimates, and purchase documentation. My advice to anyone buying here is to have the vehicle independently inspected before purchasing, especially the brakes and other safety components. Unfortunately, I did not feel that Champ Motors took my safety concern or my situation seriously. read more

I purchased a 2014 VW Jetta in Jan 2024 CASH for my daughter who was in college. Car was fine for the 1st 6 months then every issues you could think....I should have known when we asked about the TP light was on and we inquired on why. They stated they would fix before sale....48 hrs. after sale back it was on....They will make the car "driveable" until they get it out of their possession. Spark plugs, false information on how many owners. and an oil leak that just destroyed the vehicle. We attempted to sell the car and it came back with a lien on the title that was previously there. PLEASE DO NOT PATRIONIZE. read more

I had a great experience with Champ Motors. The staff was so helpful (Scott the salesman) and knowledgeable, and they made the whole car-buying process easy and stress-free. With that in mind anyone need to understand that buying a used car might need some later on, that's why I got the extended warranty for a piece of mind. I truly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a pre owned vehicle. read more

I really hated to give this dealership a this rating but wanted to be truthful. My husband and I went here to check out a car advertised online. It looked nice and drove okay but the suspension malfunction light kept coming up. I asked Scott (salesman) to check it out. He originally told me that this happens when cars sit for a while(?). Lights just pop on. Really??? I thought that was weird. Went back to test drive it again and again the light indicator popped on. Scott said he would have the mechanic look a it. He called me back and said the mechanic test drove it and looked at it and could find nothing wrong. Skeptically, we bought it. We went back in a week to pick up he temp tag and I spoke with the owner (Alex?) again about the light. He took one glance at the car and said that the suspension was too low in the back of the vehicle. It needed to be repaired $$. He could send us to a buddy's shop to get it fixed. So, bottom line as nice and kind as Scott was .... He just flat out lied to us. We took it elsewhere to have the automatic suspension replaced on the rear of the car. Another issue that popped up regarding the purchase of the car are the extra fees (processing fees?). We told them that this was ridiculous and they took the fees off. They also charged us fees for handling the registration and guess what they never applied to get them for us. We waited and waited then called DMV only to find out we had to go get them ourselves. We'll be seeking a refund. So, buyer be ware! They have Beautifullll cars on their lot but shamelessly act like stereotypical used car salesman ... read more

I have purchased two beautiful BMW's from this dealership in two years and would buy a third vehicle from them in a heartbeat. Alex, Scott, Chris and the entire staff are polite and friendly without the typical Used Car Dealer "hard sell" approach. They were easy to work with in terms of letting me take the vehicles to my personal mechanic to be checked out, and they have a huge assortment of luxury cars. The vehicles are priced competitively and for that reason there is little haggling or negotiation involved, which makes it a win-win for everyone. They also provided me with a free Carfax. If you want to test drive a car make sure to call and make an appointment first as not all vehicles are on the lot at any given time. Awesome, fair and very high quality dealership!! read more

Comes across as friendly and helpful. Less than four months later my power steering went out. Mechanic said he thinks it was in a flood. He found wet under the carpet in the trunk with baking soda. That used to get rid of smell. It was to cost me more thsn $2-3000k for a new power steering module. Called Scott and I told him . He told me to have car sent to his mechanic to "see whats going on". Thinking if he is telling me this even though I told him what the probem was already so feeling like that he intended to fix it. Had my car for almost two weeks . Said he was looking for the part. Finally called and he tells me that the mechanic he had me send car to that I would have to work out payment with him. Why would i send my car to him and his mechanic to tell me something I already knew? Wasted my time and only thing he offered is to pay the mechanic the "diagnostic" fee I never asked him for which confirmed what I had told him before i sent it to him. Furthermore Im sure this is a racket he has worked out with the mechanic. The mechanic was gonna grossly overcharge me for something that at best once I got the part for maybe just a couple of hundred at another mechanic I had it taken to. Im a disabled veteran and I told them to please let me know any issues as I am on a fixed budget, I know it was as is but the cover up of a flood with baking soda is illegal and unethical. Buy at your own risk at this place read more

Total cons. The absolute worst. They cover up issues to maximize profits. When replacing my catalytic converter my mechanic said that they tampered with the sensors to try and cover up the problem. If you have had a problem with this business contact the Attorney General consumer protection division. Avoid this dump at all cost. read more

BUYER BE AWARE. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. Here is our story.. We test drove a 2014 Volvo S60 and came back a few days after to put a deposit and started the process to have the bank send a check for this car. 08/04 Took Delivery of the Car and the car died 6 miles away from the dealership. Towed it to AAA and they did a visual inspection and replaced the Battery and Starter a $1240/- repair 08/07 Tried to pick up the car and had rattling metal sounds in the Engine. Took back to the dealership and per the dealership it needs a new engine. Second opinion also suggested a new engine to cost me approx. $6500/- The car is not operable. The dealership is not willing to work with me and I want my money back and I am taking a legal action to get my money back. read more

My partner and I have bought two cars from this dealership. First was a Mercedes Clk350 it was extremely reliable and clean. Then the next was a Mercedes E350 another extremely reliable vehicle. Most people don't understand about maintenance of high in cars. Do your research before you buy. Scott and Alex are extremely professional and are awesome sales people. You should buy from them!!! They have an amazing selection of clean used high end cars!!! I always look on there lot first before I buy anything else new!!! read more

Looked at a Volvo with 90K miles on it. The staff was amicable to let me take the car to Christian Brothers Automotive for a pre-vehicle inspection. The car did not work out for our needs due to a major engine oil leak. read more

I purchased a 2013 Toyota Prius with 120k miles for under $10k from Alex and Scott two weeks ago. We spoke on the phone briefly and discussed the condition of the car. When I arrived the car was exactly as perfect as they described. No scratches, dents, new tires, and no mechanical issues. That says a lot for their quality used cars with over 100k miles and under $10k. They provided in-house financing due to my having recent credit issues from a divorce and business bankruptcy. Everything was quick and smooth. Less than an hour in and out. I could not be happier. read more

Champ Motors - 2013 Toyota Prius - Car Dealers Near Me - Roswell, Georgia

Just bought a 2013 Mini Coup from here. Sales guy, Scott, was very nice and friendly. Car was in great shape and runs good. Price was good as well. Process was pretty smooth and quick and there were not any hidden fees thrown at you at the end. I used their referral Landmark Finance for the loan. That process was very easy and smooth as well. Things to know: 1. There is no parking there. One small spot up front./ You have to park in lot next to them. 2. Cars are sold "As-Is" They are very upfront about that. They will let you take it to a shop to have it inspected but the shop must be within 5 miles of the dealer. 3. The do not negotiate. They have no haggle pricing. Stinks but I felt the price was fair for what I got. 4. They do not except and credit or debit cards for over $500. 5. Most cars are bought at auction or trade ins from other buyers (as far as I know) but no big deal. 6. Only complaint is that I did not get a full tank of gas. I asked for some and they did put in $15. Not a big deal but if you are spending over 10k with someone I think that should be a given. Overall great Experience. Thanks to the Champ Motors Team for everything. I would recommend to anyone but do get the car inspected. I found a shop to do a general inspection for free or a deep inspection for $120. Well worth the cost just in case. Thanks guys! read more

I am editing my previous review to state that Champ Motors service has been very good, as they stand behind their cars sold. I went to them with my issue and they addressed it in a fair manner, which I appreciated and took exception. Thank you much for proving, it's not what you say, but what you do. Sincerely Ben C. read more

The sales rep was courteous, and the purchase was smooth. The car iIpurchased is great, but I was told that they would apply for my tags for me. When they did not arrive I called and was informed that the paperwork was processed and I should go to the tag office. The tag office advised that no tags were applied for. Now I have to take time out of my day and go down as well as pay AGAIN for the tag fee. read more

If I could leave a zero star review, I would first off let me start off by saying I saw the car on Facebook a white Porsche Cayenne vin # WP1AB29P16LA64760 The Facebook ad said it was by appointment only to set up an appointment call them to make sure my appointment was set up the day before call them the morning of when I left my house three hours away and had taken the day off work got down there. Call them and let them know. I was about an hour away for them to call me back 10 minutes later and tell me the car wasn't even there. It was in the shop. I called and spoke with Scott and asked him. Is there anyway that you could get the car back where I can look at it or maybe I can go to the shop where it to look at the car he decided to send me back three hours away without offering me any Assistance. Today I called Scott to ask him about the car a week later he says the car still in the shop so it definitely has major issues and you should not buy it Also to top it off, he told me to go f*ck myself and curse me out. I wouldn't do business with these people for anything. Definitely a low budget low quality car dealership. I do not Recommend anyone wasting your time or money shopping with these people, they do not know how to sell cars and they definitely don't treat people with any respect. read more

Excellent staff, sales transaction and quality vehicle at reasonable price. I bought a car for my sons. The car was in great condition and at a reasonable price. Car runs like new even though it is seven years old. I did get some maintenance done right after purchase but that car runs great!!! read more

The sales staff does not live up to their word. I was told that the smell in the car I was looking at was from the detailer. I bought the car and within two days the smell got much worse. I was told when I bought the car that if it got worse to bring it back. So, I did...4 times. There is mold in the car and they have been masking the smell but not doing anything to kill the mold. On the last visit to the dealer Alex was very rude and refused to do anything further. Do not buy from this place. Their cars are in need of repair, moldy and they do not keep their promises. read more

beware beware beware do not approach this building! fraud alert! scott was our salesman. i drove away in my new truck within 2 hrs i was disappointed. the oil light came on and the cover underneath the car was hanging down because of the oil. scott wont fix repair and has completely ghosted me. i had to file a lawsuit against these guys hopefully criminal charges also! read more

I saw a used 2005 Mercedes convertible for sale at Champ Motors. I left my contact number and email information, and eventually even left a voicemail message, but never heard back from anyone. Although I live in Milwaukee, WI, I had no difficulty buying a vehicle from out of the state in the past. In fact, this is becoming quite common. Whatever the reason, the dealership could have at least contacted me. read more

Buyer Beware!!!!!! I bought my 2009 BMW 328I form them last month. I was greeted Scott and advised I wanted to look at the White BMW. I asked to open the hood so that I could see underneath. RED flag number one it was stuck. It must have been repainted with the bumper(which was poorly done btw) . I Asked if it would be possible for me to take it to my mechanic and was told no based on security. RED flag number 2. Anyone that has nothing to hide would be willing to let me take it to someone for a checkup. Even after that I was at least going to test drive it being I cam 40 mins. out of my way to come and see it. Overall the car did seem to respond well to throttle and breaking. I told them I need to at least see under the hood so I can make a better financial decision. After a few minutes they got it open and looking it over it didn't see any leaks on the power steering or the value cover gasket. But looking at it, it looked too clean and it looked like they sprayed it down with degreaser. But overall with the lower mileage(73K) I thought it was a little over priced but I decided to get it and then have my mechanic look at it. Well to make a long story short. This car needs well over 4,000 dollars in repairs and they asked if I wanted one of "their" mechanics to help and that my mechanic was too expensive. No thank you... So after bringing this to their attention I was pretty much told to F Off and we don't care what we sell just as long as it sales. So now I am stuck with a crap car that needs a ton of work or do I sale it and take a HUGE loss on something a dealer should have never advertised with this amount of problems in good conscience. DO NOT EVERY BUY from them. They don't truly care about the customer. IF they did they would have never had cars like that on their lot.. read more

I just purchased a 2012 VW Touareg from Champ Motors and had a great experience. All my communication with them was over texting, online and phone as I am over 6 hours away from them. I was a little nervous about buying something long distance but, they were great about providing detailed pictures and information about my vehicle. I delt with Scott and he was also great about responding quickly to me about all my questions. Champ also had the best pricing that I'd found so, went with them and had my vehicle shipped to me which also ended up being an easy process as well. Would recommend Champ Motors. read more

The worst experience I have ever had, I got 2008 × 5 financed by themselves, first with 27% interest and gave him 3000 down-payment I had no credit record so I assumed that interest is fine, after 10 days The car started with a sound in the engine I returned the car to them so that they would fix it after 6 days they returned it to me and then, a month later the car returned with the same sound I decided to start investing, so that in the end these guys would pick me up car according to them for missing 1 payment, my payments were every 5 of each month so I called 4 of that month explaining that I did not have a job, that they would wait for me with the payment they answered me that I had to pay a late fee that was fine for me, day 15 they picked up the car without any warning, read more

Everybody I dealt with at Champ exuded professionalism and courtesy. The vehicle I purchased from them (although used) was not in horrible disrepair. In fact, the only thing that was faulty with the vehicle was a bad tire pressure sensor and a bad passenger-side lock motor. Those two things aside, everything was (and still is) in good-working order. Why the 3-star rating then? I found out (courtesy of the Georgia State Police) that the vehicle I bought from them was not 100% street legal. It's important to note that dealers are under NO legal obligation to ensure a car's legality in GA, aside from the vehicle emissions. That being said, it still would have been nice if they would have corrected the errors that made the vehicle only 90% legal, instead of passing that obligation on to me after the purchase. read more

I purchased an Acura from Champ Motors a little over a month ago. I was handed the keys and had the opportunity to take a lengthy test drive prior to deciding to buy. So far, so good. The price I paid was competitive, the car was very clean, and the transaction was handled quickly. It's always a bit unnerving to sign all the "sold as is" declarations, but thus far I have had no issues and am completely satisfied with my purchase. read more

I had to update this review because I think that if we take the time to share complaints, we should take the time to share the good. Alex and Scott are good people. I bought a car from them and we had the oil changed before going on a college visit for one of our kids about 8 hour drive. The service facility did a full inspection on the car and rated the overall health of the car points higher than the average year/make/model. We had such an amazing trip. The car was good on gas mileage and the mechanic said "whoever you bought this car from, it was well cared for". When we stopped to get gas, the cashier was raving over the car and could not believe when we told him the year of the car. On our way back home, we saw another car on the road that had the champ motors sticker and temporary tag! With a used car, you don't know what you are getting and the true test for us was putting it on the road for this trip. It passed with flying colors. Check these guys out if your are looking for a car that you will feel good to put your family in. Thank you both and God bless your business. read more
