I have had several cars repaired at Chabot Collision. The work was excellent and after several years they still look flawless. They even cleaned the outside and the interior! Reasonable prices also. read more

Big compliments to the team at Chabot Collision. I needed some body work done and had gotten a very expensive quote from another shop. I took it to Chabot and they took a more measured approach to the fix and ended up saving me more than $1500. The work looks great and the team had excellent communication (Shoutout Steve!). I hope I won't need their services again, but if I do, I know I'll be fine gong there. read more

They explained the whole process to us and answered all our questions and addressed our concerns. It has been two weeks since they took pictures and promised an estimate via email. They have not emailed confirmation of my visit, so there is not way to contact them without picking up the phone. Unable to find email contact info online. Another company did an estimate in ten minutes while I sat in the office, so I don't understand what is taking so long. I will update this review if I get a response, but I'm feeling forgotten at the moment. read more

Amazing work and excellent communication! Highly recommended. They were spot on regarding the timeline.

I chose this shop because of their years in business. Their estimate was fair. They did the work in the amount of time they said it would take and were good on communication. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for paint and/or bodywork. read more

Manny and the team at Chabot did a great job. Bringing my '06 SLK55 AMG back to it's original beautiful look. They repaired my front bumper cover and repainted it and the hood taking out all the road chips. Plus did the C pillars and did a great job of hiding my front camera add on to see curbs and parking stops. Don't want to damage that front spoiler again. And when they put it back together they installed my new project head lamps. Thanks to all. read more

The whole process of having colllision work done on my car was made easy from start to finish. Chabot Collision took care of communications with the insurance company and the rental-car company at all points. Explanations were patient and thorough. The whole staff was solicitious and courteous throughout. Even pickup of the rental car at the Chabot Collision site was arranged so that I didn't have to drive the rental back to Enterprise myself. A highly-satisfactory experience. read more

Had such a good experience! Got in a small fender-bender for the first time and had no clue what to do. Chabot Collision were great and helped me every step of the way. Setting up an appointment was easy and everyone was helpful and friendly. The assessment was fast, and they helped set up a rental for the time my car was in the shop. The rental process was also easy, someone picked me up to get the rental and I was able to leave my car there when my car was fixed. Steve (the mechanic) was great and was honest and clear in describing everything. Car was fixed within the given time frame and they called to update me along the way. So many of my friends/coworkers have had bad experiences, so I really appreciate having such a smooth process. Please give them a try! read more

I dropped off my car for damage to my front end and slight damage to my driver'side door. Talked to Manny and towed my car to his shop. My car wasn't ready as promised and he took another week in order to complete the work. I had to pay for an additional week since the insurance dies not pay for rentals more than 30 days. I finally picked up my car and took it home. I noticed that while driving the car was making noises coming from the front end he repaired. I called him right away and told him of the problem. He said to bring it back and hw will take care of it. I picked it up after a day and the noises were still there so I called him again. I had to drop off my car three times back and forth and the problem was still not fixed. He told me that they couldn't hear any noises. At this point I was really irritated and frustrated with him and told him that if he or his mechanic can't hear the noises then they definitely are either deaf or have no ears at all. A mechanic should be able to hear the most silent noises on a car. My 8 year old was asking me Dad what is that noise coming from the cat. After that I told him that I am not letting you touch my car again and I will get it fixed elsewhere and drag his ass to court and sue him. He said ohh I didn' charge you the deductible and other bullshit. I told him to pay my rental for the additional time he took to complete my car beyond the time he promised and pay me for my time dropping off my car and picking it up each time to fix the problem. This guy is a total fraud and a jerk. The paint job he did on my car was the most cheap and lousy job I have ever seen. Paint runs everywhere. I would never give him any business or recommend anyone. Stay away from this body shop unless you want headaches and frustration. I would give him a zero star if the app would let me. He doesn't deserve even a single star review. read more

I sure wish that I could give Chabot Collision 10 stars. Although I live 40 mins away, I've brought my car to be repaired here twice in the past few years. These folks go above & beyond and then back again. I owe them many thanks. read more

I was recently in minor accident that needed my front bumper to be replaced. AAA had sent me to this location and I'm so glad they did. The people here were very professional and very kind. I got there on time for my appointment to get an estimate of the damages, I had to wait 30-40 mins which I did not mind waiting. When it was my turn, it took them 10-15 minutes to give me an estimate. I was able to book my follow up appointment in 2 weeks to get it fixed. I dropped off my car on Tuesday morning which was 5 min exchange, I did not have to wait. I just parked my car in front of the office and walked inside their office. I asked the mechanic, Manny, when it might be ready and he was kind enough to come outside to see the car and he said by Friday (if there wasn't additional damage that needed to be fixed). I get a message Wednesday evening it was ready and I was able to pick it on Thursday. And the best part was they cleaned the inside and outside of my car which was unexpected but I'm very appreciative. Good experience, would good back there again and recommend to others. The only downside is they don't have an actual parking lot, I believe it's only street parking. But I had no issues with finding a spot for both my appointments read more

Big thank you to Chabot Collison. They did a great job, my carcis as good as new. Staff is kind and professional. I was a walk in and had an estimate within 10 minutes. Once i dropped my car off Manny and his crew fixed my bumper by the end of the week. I would recommend Chabot Collison to anyone that need their car repaired read more

I was referred to Chabot Collision by the insurance company of the dude who hit my Audi...while it was parked. Before the folks here had a chance to start work on it, and much to my dismay, the entire length of my driver's side got keyed. Yeah, and you thought YOU were having a bad week. Lucky for me, Manny and the ladies in the office worked with my insurance for the keyed part and the dude's insurance for the back end to fix everything at once. After a week and a half, a full half of my black car -- one front quarter-panel, two doors, one back quarter-panel, and the bumper -- had been completely stripped, lights etc dismantled, and repainted. And now you can't even tell! Highly recommend Chabot Collision and suggest going with them even if they're not partnered with your insurance provider. read more

Someone keyed my brand new car before I even got plates on it. Luckily my insurance works with this body shop and the reviews here were super helpful. The shop not only called the rental agency to pick me up, they called and let me know status updates and when I picked up my car they had washed and detailed the inside! The paint job was superb. I can't tell where the key mark was before. I definitely recommend Chabot Collision. read more

Thank you so much Chabot Collision! You guys did an outstanding job, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Your workmanship was excellent and your customer service was outstanding, I really appreciate everything Steve and Manny did to help me during a stressful time!! read more

Had a minor fender bender and we selected Chabot Collision from the list of body shop provided by our insurance company. Manny was our contact and he is courteous and very helpful. He was very flexible when it comes to scheduling. He explained the overall claim and repair process in detail throughout the repair process. I definitely recommend going with this shop if your car ever need repair work done. read more

I recently brought my car to Chabot Collision as my insurance, AAA recommended them after my roommate ran into my back bumper. Everyone who works at Chabot is friendly, personable and very easy to talk to. They fixed my car within a few days and even fixed my trunk latch that was detached and hanging by a wire - it was awesome when I noticed it was back to normal....its the little things that count! :) I live in Daly City, but if I ever have to get my car repaired again, I would without a doubt bring my car back to Chabot. Awesome service all around! read more

I highly recommend Chabot Collision as they not only did beautiful work on my car making it look back to brand-new , but also did it quickly, and went out of their way to help me throughout the entire process. I brought my car to them after I was rear-ended on the highway and needed to get the back end of the car reconstructed/replaced. I had filed a claim through the insurance company of the guy who hit me - when I brought the estimate in with my car, Manny told me that that insurance company had only authorized all after market parts for my brand new, 2 months old, less than 2000 miles, 2014 car. He recommended that I call my own insurance company because he thought they would support factory parts since my car was so new. He was right! and I am so grateful for his attention to detail. They also made it very easy to pick up and drop off my rental car from Hertz, and called me twice during the week to let me know how the work was progressing and when they expected I could pick my car up. I had a great experience here and would definitely use them again if needed - definitely recommend! read more

I'm very happy their business. My car was hit in the parking garage. Manny not only did a great job on the car, but he also gave me very useful advice on the insurance procedure. My car was returned to me in a very timely manner. I do highly recommend Chabot Collision. read more

Excellent work on my vehicle. And they were kind and honest. They also went beyond the call of duty. I Highly recommend them!

I have used them several times, both for insurance-covered repairs and for dumb things I did to my car on my own, and they have done terrific work. Most recently they repaired rather severe damage to my car done in a freak accident where stuff flew out of a truck and hit it. They not only fixed the obvious damage, but checked other things that might have been affected, such as a cracked headlight which wasn't apparent until they opened up the fixture. And they detailed the car when they were done so it looks new! They even gave me a ride home when I left it off. I recommend them without reservations of any kind. They listen, they are true pros, and handle your car as if it were their own. read more

A body shop may not be a place to frequent. But if I have to go to one, I will choose Chabot Collision. They are knowledgeable and explain the cost estimate for the parts and labor associated. They are also honest and give different options. Manny the owner is very professional and recognizes a car once he works on. He took a glance at my car (of very common make and model) and said "I worked on this before, right?" years after my previous visit! read more

(Family owned business)I took my other car in for a major paint job. I had this car since I was in high school, my paint was peeling off and now this car looks brand new!! The owner is very reasonable and a lot cheap than other paint shops in Hayward. He didn't charge me and replaced my inside door panels for free!!! Very reliable. I highly suggest taking your car to this place for a good quality paint job!!!! :) read more

After being hit from the back, I took the car to Chabot Collision for repair. Heidi and Manny were both super friendly. They provided quote quickly, worked with the insurance company and provided me regular communication on claim and repair status. Picked up my car this morning, it looked great and even looked newer before the repair. There was some minor scratch on the left side of the car and they did touch paint for free which I really appreciate it! Furthermore they helped to clean the whole car which is beyond my expectation. All in all, very happy with Chabot Collision's repair work and customer services and I highly recommend it for car repair or body shop work. read more

I AM NEVER COMING BACK!!! Lady in the front didn't know what she was doing. Took pictures of my car on my first visit so estimates will be ready when I return. I came back.. and she took pictures AGAIN because she didn't know where she put the ones she took last time. POOR COMMUNICATION between the owner and the lady at the front. Estimates were supposed to have been ready, but Manny had to make another one, because he "didn't know" where the lady put the original one! Billing time..Lady charged me $243, according to printed estimate. Few days later, something came loose, RIGHT WHERE THEY HAD WORKED ON! I called IN THE MORNING for them to check it. They said come back next day, no mechanic available, and owner is leaving early. I came back and owner asked for "balance" of $250 from previous work, because the lady at the front "MADE A MISTAKE". I came home, vowed never to go back there. I looked under my car...and what do I see? That part is still dangling from under my hood!! WTF!!! BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! read more

Fair, responsive, timely, and quality work. Had right front fender damage and a running board scrape on our 2005 Durango. Manny (owner) did a detailed estimate, providing options for a factory or an after market fender. Chose the after market fender due to a lower price. The pricing was in line with other shops- perhaps a bit lower. The result looks as good as new. Great job fitting the new fender. Great paint job and color matching. No rattles when driving. The job was done in 3-1/2 days. 1/2 day earlier than promised. The exterior was washed and the car looked perfect on delivery. This is a great local family run operation that should be considered if you have body work. read more
