I dropped off my car for damage to my front end and slight damage to my driver'side door. Talked to Manny and towed my car to his shop. My car wasn't ready as promised and he took another week in order to complete the work. I had to pay for an additional week since the insurance dies not pay for rentals more than 30 days. I finally picked up my car and took it home. I noticed that while driving the car was making noises coming from the front end he repaired. I called him right away and told him of the problem. He said to bring it back and hw will take care of it. I picked it up after a day and the noises were still there so I called him again. I had to drop off my car three times back and forth and the problem was still not fixed. He told me that they couldn't hear any noises. At this point I was really irritated and frustrated with him and told him that if he or his mechanic can't hear the noises then they definitely are either deaf or have no ears at all. A mechanic should be able to hear the most silent noises on a car. My 8 year old was asking me Dad what is that noise coming from the cat. After that I told him that I am not letting you touch my car again and I will get it fixed elsewhere and drag his ass to court and sue him. He said ohh I didn' charge you the deductible and other bullshit. I told him to pay my rental for the additional time he took to complete my car beyond the time he promised and pay me for my time dropping off my car and picking it up each time to fix the problem. This guy is a total fraud and a jerk.The paint job he did on my car was the most cheap and lousy job I have ever seen. Paint runs everywhere. I would never give him any business or recommend anyone. Stay away from this body shop unless you want headaches and frustration. I would give him a zero star if the app would let me. He doesn't deserve even a single star review. read more

Had such a good experience! Got in a small fender-bender for the first time and had no clue what to do. Chabot Collision were great and helped me every step of the way. Setting up an appointment was easy and everyone was helpful and friendly. The assessment was fast, and they helped set up a rental for the time my car was in the shop. The rental process was also easy, someone picked me up to get the rental and I was able to leave my car there when my car was fixed. Steve (the mechanic) was great and was honest and clear in describing everything. Car was fixed within the given time frame and they called to update me along the way. I was recently in minor accident that needed my front bumper to be replaced. AAA had sent me to this location and I'm so glad they did. The people here were very professional and very kind. I got there on time for my appointment to get an estimate of the damages, I had to wait 30-40 mins which I did not mind waiting. When it was my turn, it took them 10-15 minutes to give me an estimate. I was able to book my follow up appointment in 2 weeks to get it fixed. I dropped off my car on Tuesday morning which was 5 min exchange, I did not have to wait. I just parked my car in front of the office and walked inside their office. I asked the mechanic, Manny, when it might be ready and he was kind enough to come outside to see the car and he said by Friday (if there wasn't additional damage that needed to be fixed). I get a message Wednesday evening it was ready and I was able to pick it on Thursday. And the best part was they cleaned the inside and outside of my car which was unexpected but I'm very appreciative. Good experience, would good back there again and recommend to others. The only downside is they don't have an actual parking lot, I believe it's only street parking. But I had no issues with finding a spot for both my appointments read more

Before the folks here had a chance to start work on it, and much to my dismay, the entire length of my driver's side got keyed. Yeah, and you thought YOU were having a bad week. Lucky for me, Manny and the ladies in the office worked with my insurance for the keyed part and the dude's insurance for the back end to fix everything at once. After a week and a half, a full half of my black car -- one front quarter-panel, two doors, one back quarter-panel, and the bumper -- had been completely stripped, lights etc dismantled, and repainted. Everyone who works at Chabot is friendly, personable and very easy to talk to. I highly recommend Chabot Collision as they not only did beautiful work on my car making it look back to brand-new , but also did it quickly, and went out of their way to help me throughout the entire process. I brought my car to them after I was rear-ended on the highway and needed to get the back end of the car reconstructed/replaced. I had filed a claim through the insurance company of the guy who hit me - when I brought the estimate in with my car, Manny told me that that insurance company had only authorized all after market parts for my brand new, 2 months old, less than 2000 miles, 2014 car. He recommended that I call my own insurance company because he thought they would support factory parts since my car was so new. He was right! and I am so grateful for his attention to detail. They also made it very easy to pick up and drop off my rental car from Hertz, and called me twice during the week to let me know how the work was progressing and when they expected I could pick my car up. I have used them several times, both for insurance-covered repairs and for dumb things I did to my car on my own, and they have done terrific work. Most recently they repaired rather severe damage to my car done in a freak accident where stuff flew out of a truck and hit it. They not only fixed the obvious damage, but checked other things that might have been affected, such as a cracked headlight which wasn't apparent until they opened up the fixture. And they detailed the car when they were done so it looks new! They even gave me a ride home when I left it off. I recommend them without reservations of any kind. They provided quote quickly, worked with the insurance company and provided me regular communication on claim and repair status. Picked up my car this morning, it looked great and even looked newer before the repair. I AM NEVER COMING BACK!!! Lady in the front didn't know what she was doing. Took pictures of my car on my first visit so estimates will be ready when I return. I came back.. and she took pictures AGAIN because she didn't know where she put the ones she took last time. POOR COMMUNICATION between the owner and the lady at the front. Estimates were supposed to have been ready, but Manny had to make another one, because he "didn't know" where the lady put the original one! Billing time..Lady charged me $243, according to printed estimate. Few days later, something came loose, RIGHT WHERE THEY HAD WORKED ON! I called IN THE MORNING for them to check it. They said come back next day, no mechanic available, and owner is leaving early. I came back and owner asked for "balance" of $250 from previous work, because the lady at the front "MADE A MISTAKE". I came home, vowed never to go back there. I looked under my car...and what do I see? That part is still dangling from under my hood!! WTF!!! BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! read more

Manny (owner) did a detailed estimate, providing options for a factory or an after market fender. Chose the after market fender due to a lower price. The pricing was in line with other shops- perhaps a bit lower. The result looks as good as new. Great job fitting the new fender. Great paint job and color matching. No rattles when driving. The job was done in 3-1/2 days. 1/2 day earlier than promised. The exterior was washed and the car looked perfect on delivery. Best auto bodyshop experience I've ever had. Manny made that possible. Brought in my car due to an accident I was in and the other driver's insurance worked with this shop. There were more to choose from but this place caught my eye due to their good yelp reviews. I'm glad I went with them because I also had some pre existing damage on my rear end from another accident that I never had repaired. I had an old quote from another shop that Manny managed to blow out of the water. He was able to salvage some of the parts and didn't recommend replacing with new parts like the other shop had recommended. I told him I was trying to keep the cost as low as possible and he managed to do just that. Car was super clean and detailed when we got it back. Looked like new!!! He also took care of another minor issue for us that he just did for us as a kind gesture. He was awesome. They went above and beyond and I would highly recommend this place to anyone I know. Manny is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. A woman hit my car back in March and Manny was so helpful during the repair process. It's hard for me to trust most mechanics as I've had a lot of bad experiences, but I honestly feel comfortable that Chabot Collision is doing a great job with my car and at a fair price.
