An excellent location to eat and sample local wines…read more We were recommended this place by our B&B host while on the wine road trip, for a dinner. A big plus for them is that they have a kitchen that's open until late and they are a wine bar, meaning they have quite a choice when it comes to wines by the glass, as well as for the bottles. Upon arrival, we sat out on the terrace - under large umbrellas, good against the sun as well as the rain and ordered burgundy style snails, vegetarian burger with fries for my partner and a Boeuf Bourguignon for myself, along with some wines. The quality of the food was excellent - it's so far the best Boeuf Bourguignon that I have tried so far and the vegetarian burger was excellent as well. Similarly, the wines by glass we proceeded to sampling were all pretty darn good and on the affordable side. Finally, for the desserts we went with the crème brulée and their daily special (fondant au chocolat). Both were excellent. Bonus point for an excellent service as well as a general democratic atmosphere. Overall, would absolutely and positively recommend.
