5 Cheese Linguine with Shrimp.

This place is a hidden gem!!! I was in town for my bday and was looking for an upscale establishment to have dinner. We Came across this place on Google and Yelp. Upon arriving I was surprised no customers were in this restaurant. It was concerning because first thought is "it must be terrible". It was the complete opposite!!! From the service to the food this place was amazing!!! Unfortunately like most businesses post pandemic they are struggling with getting people through the door. But it's definitely not because of their service and food. I believe it's lack of social media presence, and the "fine dining" title can be intimidating for some. But you can actually come in and dine in casual clothes. I ordered the 5 cheese linguine with shrimp, a Caesar salad (made from scratch) right in front of you! I would love to see more people take advantage of this place! The service was hands down the best I've had in a long time (thank you Sandra!) and pricing is inexpensive for the experience and food. Perfect for large groups, romantic date night, or just to enjoy a great meal!

My husband ordered the coconut coffee and he said it was strong. My son really wanted to order off the lunch menu, but they only serve breakfast until 11am. He ended ordering the breakfast sandwich, which left him a very happy camper. My daughter ordered the red chilaquiles and she was pleased with her meal, but not super excited about it. Red sauce is mild. They also could have been served hot, because they arrived at the table a little on the lukewarm side. My hubby and I both ordered the tortilla españuela - they warned us that it would take about 25 minutes to make. Glad we waited because it was delicious. It's almost like a breakfast casserole that has eggs, potatoes, onions, cheese, and chorizo. Oh, and they garnished it was some spinach and cherry tomatoes. Let me not forget my husbands Cinnabon. It's served straight out of the oven. Light, fluffy & not too sweet. We would order it again. The restaurant is cute and trendy, clean and friendly staff. Our total bill for 4 people was a little over $70 us dollars, which I thought was kind of steep. But .. we all ate well and had fancy drinks. If you're in the area, try this spot.

My husband's drink was empty for a good half hour at least and we had to literally wave her down to get the check after she disappeared for a while. There were only four tables there including us, so I was expecting...more. Drinks:They don't have a drink/mixology menu even though they have a full bar which was disappointing and probably losing them money. Appetizers: Started with the coconut calamari which was overcooked, so they were more like little tires. Sent those back. Had the asian style ribs appetizer. The cast iron they served them in stayed so hot that it charred/burnt the two that were on the bottom and the salsa it came with (we got it on the side) tasted like they had severely overcharred the chiles before they mixed them in. I used the plum sauce from the calamari and it paired MUCH better with the ribs. Also got the tiraditos de atun. It didn't have much flavor. Definitely missing a creamy sauce (spicy aioli/sriracha mayo) I ended up drizzling their creamy wasabi sauce on top and it gave it a bit more dimension. Main: Totoaba en la granja- The fish was well cooked and the side vegetables were seasoned really well. The risotto was the correct texture, maybe a touch too much pesto/cheese that made it very rich without a citrus element to break it up, but overall a good dish. Dessert: Got the budding de pan which was served in the same style of cast iron as the ribs which was heated enough to start burning the caramel sauce and turned it bitter very quickly. The actual bread pudding was a plate of mush. Severly undercooked with no texture past the mush. The ice cream on top of it was delicious though. Also got the molleux de chocolate. Be prepared that it is very dark chocolate, so not very sweet if you like a sweet or semi sweet dessert. It had the melty center, so it was well executed, just not the flavor profile I had expected. While the fish was decent, I wouldn't come back with the overall experience.

I didn't realize you needed a reservation to come here but Nathan who owns this beautiful property with his vintner wife opened up their table for the best tasting we ever had! Each pour was delicious and we also got their charcuterie board which is not on the Malva menu but you can request. Nathan was very descriptive of their wine and praised his wife on creating so many of their wines. He made it clear that this is a woman owned vineyard and he just helps out. This made us chuckle because we all are married and would love for our husbands to praise us like he did! The vineyard is very resourceful and does clean practices for winemaking making it shine in their wines. I ended up going home with their Julio wine. I can't wait to try it at home and you can be sure we'll be back!

One in particular loved to ask for head scratches by resting his head on your leg waiting for you to pet him. We got there right when they opened so service was a bit slow but that's understandable because they were still preparing for the rest of the day. Presentation was on point and made for a very fun meal. The horse mackerel rosette while not in an actual rosette was very good. Nice touch of citrus. Sea urchin flan was very umami and very filling. Gyozas were more like dumplings because they did not have any crispness to the bottom and the gyoza wrappers tasted like they were dried out in a fridge. Filling was an ox tail filling and worked wonderfully. The ramen broth however was just a bit too salty. I think if they made it into an aspic and put a bit of it with the filling it would have made for a better flavor explosion. Catch of the day was ok. The skin of the fish was kinda soggy but overall flavor was good. I think the crispness of the fish skin added with the shaving of jicama would have made it more of a standout dish. For the Pig dish, they used a suckling pig. My only complaint with the dish is they should have dried the skin out some more and made it crispier. Who isn't a fan of crispy pork skins from a suckling pig. The presentation of the desserts was the most amazing. The pumpkin is pretty much a lavender milk cereal inside and some sort of jelly and granola topped with a salted caramel ice cream. The carrot cake. This is the most delicious carrot cake I have ever eaten and the presentation itself was very fun. The carrot itself is a carrot puree that was candied and filled with a cream to look like an actual carrot.

They were doing the Tuesday night date special, which includes one appetizer & entree each and a dessert & bottle of wine to share for $55/pp as of March 2026. I'm not familiar with the names of French dishes, so I'll write descriptions of the food instead. Appetizers: * mushroom ravioli * phyllo filled with cheese & salad Entrees: * braised short rib * stuffed chicken Dessert: * Cookie My favorite thing was actually the phyllo filled with cheese! It was really unique, and a good combination of savory/sweet, and the salad was a refreshing addition. I would honestly consider ordering a full portion of this to have as a meal. My husband loved his braised short ribs. It was so tender. The ambiance is lovely-- I dressed up a bit more than I normally would, and I didn't feel particularly overdressed or anything, but other people showed up in casual clothing too. Every detail of dinner was well thought out and service was amazing. We didn't feel rushed at all, so we were able to enjoy a slow-paced anniversary dinner. We would definitely come back to try their normal menu too!

For appetizers, we shared the charcuterie plate and the salmon gravlax. Neither disappointed, though we did need to ask for extra toasts. I ordered the pork chop with mustard sauce. The pork was very tender, though I was a bit disappointed with the sauce. Others gave their main courses high marks. We ordered the assortment of desserts, and all were fantastic. We did wines by the glass, and they were served in proper glassware and at the proper temperature. Service was friendly and professional. All told, a solid experience. Parking is difficult in this area so give some extra time to park.
