It was cold and rainy one afternoon, and I decided to try this particular Thai spot to warm up I am always in search of the next best red curry dish, and while Chaba offers many curry dishes, they don't offer red curry. I pivoted to their green curry, and it was great The ambiance is nice. Thai decor all around, clean tables, and music playing The staff were very nice and attentive. Anytime I needed water or something they were quick to get it for me. The food came out very fast. I ordered an appetizer and it came out within minutes, and my entree seemed to come out within seconds of the app The menu offers a variety of Thai delicacies as well as other Asian cuisine dishes. Plenty of appetizers, soups/salads, entrees, kids options, beverages, and desserts While the staff if very helpful and the service solid, I did notice that they sort of just hovered in the corner watching and waiting to be of assistance. This felt slightly awkward having them just standing and watching, but I know they meant well Some tips: The spice level (heat) ranges from low, medium, high, and "Thai hot." I got the second most spicy, and it definitely packed some heat. There are also boba drinks to choose from with a variety of flavors and the options for tapioca, jelly, or poppers. I had the coconut drink with jelly and I was very impressed. I usually love chicken satay, but I didn't much care for this one in taste, appearance, or texture. And if you can't finish your meal, request to-go containers... but be careful, if it's a curry or soup, it can drip into the bag like mine did Cheers!!

Food was good overall but pricey There is one female staff worker who seems very rude but we think it's a cultural thing with8n the rudeness c9mments and expressions. Had a bad experience with her when we initially did take out. This time we went for lunch and she refused to seat me at a semi booth saying it's only for 4 ppl. However, there were a party of 3 already seated and there were numerous 2 seater tables along the wall where they were empty. After wanting to walk out, and I said my back cannot handle the reg tables and chairs, she relented. Broken English makes the communication a challenge , however, later on one staff member, we think higher up the chain of command, seemed nicer. My husband refuses to return due to the attitude. I agree, though the location is great for us. They give discounts on Yelp check ins for groups only.

I like the vibe of this place. It's peaceful. I needed that this day. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but just having moved to the area I want to work my way through a menu if I like a place. I wanted to give this place a try. I love Tom Yum & Tom Kha. So, I ordered Tom Kha with shrimp. I've never had it quite this dark before. I believe it was the mushrooms. Which I loved. I'm a huge fan. But, it does make the flavor lean that way. Still very tasty. Try it. I also got fried tofu. I like it. I know it's a texture issue for many. But fried, it's not for me. They fry theirs perfectly! I may get this every single time. I asked for a side of peanut sauce & it was perfect. The biggest issue I had was cashing out. If I hadn't paid attention my lunch would've cost me twice the amount. It took about 20 minutes to fix the issue, & the money had to be refunded. It was a mess. But they were so sweet about it. New software can be a pain for everyone. Never lose your patience. I've found a new place to try out & learn their menu & get to know the staff.

To go food was pretty spot on. When we called to order for pick up, rep informed us of what was not available and accommodations were met without asking. Food arrived and family was fed. Man, these portions are def made for two. (But I'm glad it's alll mine!)

It was great. The food was excellent. The service was friendly. Uni, the hostess and waitress was so kind. Can't wait to go back! No regrets!

Despite a funny smell when I entered the restaurant and only one server taking care of five tables and all take out orders, the food and the service was very good. The spring rolls had a great peanut sauce and the pad see ewe had an extra kick with dried chili pepper seeds. Nice decor, good meal and experience. Would go back if in town.

This place is an absolute gem. I go here once a week and i love giving them my business! I pay about $25 for what i want and it honestly makes 2-3 meals for me and always tastes good after being re heated. it's definitely worth the price! The service is always fast, the ambiance is calming and gives off good vibes.

Service was fast and great! Atmosphere was nice and cozy. We came in for a lunch and the food was authentic fresh and delicious. I recommend the Pad Thai chicken!

Sushi! I forgot the name of the roll, I'm sure with sushi this fresh you can't go wrong with any one you pick.

We didn't realize this place was a cousin of Shiro and owned by the same guy until we saw some similarities in their style, layout and menu but nevertheless, the food was still absolutely amazing. Even though the ambiance had some similarities, I'm glad their food options were distinguished because otherwise could have just gone downtown. You cannot go wrong with any of their food options. Highly recommend doing family style so you can get a taste of everything and all the different flavors. We started with the gyoza and calamari which were to die for and were not greasy at all. Pork ssam, wagyu, miso pasta and octopus all brought a little bit of their own element and flare to your palate that it's hard to describe unless you try it. Wagyu was just melt in your mouth delicious. Pork ssam and octopus had their crunchy texture and umami flavors. The miso pasta added a light refreshing touch to balance everything out but don't let it fool ya, the noodles will expand in your stomach. We topped it off with their yuzu cake. Our only disappointment was they were out of their other desserts but nevertheless everyone of us left full and happy. Would come here again.

When I first read about Yozora, I honestly thought it sounded a bit pretentious. Fascinating, but…read morepretentious. Because the idea of music being an actual integral part of the dining experience--not just some kind of background noise--felt a little precious for my taste. I'm glad to admit I was wrong. So let's start with the ambiance and the vibe of Yozora. It's in a fairly non-descript kind of center; not bad but not specially memorable. But the space itself is open and has an air of restrained sophistication. And then there's that hi-fi set up. The music at Yozora really is part of the experience, but it's not intrusive in the way that you'd think. Most of what my dining companion and I heard was 50s and 60s jazz, and it was perfect for the occasion. Sushi and Coltrane are a great mix, and even though we were not far from the hi-fi system, I could hear every word of our conversation, without the need for either of us to raise a voice. Somehow, it's like the music operates on a different frequency from regular table chatter. Suffice to say, the music enhanced the mood and really set a scene for Yozora's chefs to tell some stories. And that, they do really well. We started out with seasonal tempura and miso masu ceviche--ocean trout marinated in miso, soy, and lime juice--that was sublime. But funnily enough, the real star small plate was a truffle creamy miso soup that was earthy and slightly sweet at the same time and was silky in texture. From there, we ordered a series of crudo and battera, each unique in its own way. It was wonderful stuff, accompanied by a rice lager. The kitchen at Yozora is not shy about experimenting with non-traditional flavors and ingredients. Sometimes it works really well; sometimes, not as well, but it's never bad, and the servers actually ask for feedback for the kitchen, which is something I rarely see. Yozora honestly seems to be most concerned with creating a great dining experience, and it does that, from the chefs to the line cooks to the servers (who are helpful and attentive without hovering). The music, the mood, and the menu add up to a memorable experience.

I was immediately annoyed because the music was very loud to me. That could have been due to the empty restaurant, the actual volume or my perception of the volume lol. I was really hoping for a more intimate vibe for conversation. The speakeasy lounge actually looked more like the vibe that I desired but I settled in and placed my order. I wanted some of the showier selections seen on IG, so I ordered the tuna tower and flaming Romeo & Juliet roll and a cute (albeit sweet) cocktail that came in a goldfish shaped glass. When the tuna tower arrived the young server asked me something several times which I couldn't hear over the music, so I just nodded. After she smashed the tuna tower, I figured out she was asking if I wanted it mixed. Lol my bad! I actually did not want it mixed but it was delicious anyway. The Romeo and Juliet roll took forever to stop flaming but once it died down, it was absolutely delicious. My partner enjoyed his roll as well and they gave him a complimentary birthday desert with sparklers. Overall I give service a 3. I would have liked a more professional presentation of the menu, hyping it up a bit. And a less soft spoken server. The food was a solid 5, everything was fresh and scrumptious. Overall I give Uni'ko 4 stars and I look forward to returning. I thought it was a good value given the extra razzle dazzle and food quality.

Could be a nice, intimate place for dinner though we were seated next to a pretty loud group. Service was fast and friendly, which was appreciated. The meal itself was decent, not great. Tried the masago and snow crab off the sushi menu; the former was good, but the latter strangely dry, as if it had sat out a little too long. An appetizer portion of the shrimp and vegetable tempura was very good. Particularly puzzling was the unagi roll. Not only did each piece of the roll fall apart, it was doused with so much eel sauce that it was hard to taste anything else. Looking back on it, I should have sent it back to the kitchen. Of note was the tempura banana dessert, which was a sort of Japanese take on a sundae! Putting crisp, hot chunks of fruit up against sweet vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, and chocolate syrup (not berries as the menu claimed) was...well, interesting. I probably wouldn't order it again, but it is novel. Average it out and it's a decent place, though I would only come again if I was in the area for something else to begin with. This place scores a 3 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good.
