This was the first time we were using Chaat Party. Working with Vinits was easy - she was responsive and had great suggestions for snacks for our superbowl party. The staff arrived right on time, set up efficiently and they were extremely friendly and professional. The food was AMAZING and my guests couldnt stop talking about how good it was. The cleanup was quick and I cant wait to use them for my next event. For others that mentioned it wasnt cheap - I agree it wasnt but you get what you pay for :) Cant have champagne on a beer budget :) read more

Great food with on-time delivery. Thank you chaat party for making my daughter's bday a hit. Everyone loved food specially kathi rolls, motichoor malai parfait, veg Biryani. Will definitely order again in future. Worth every penny. read more

We strongly depended on the reviews of Yelp and this time around we were disappointed. I was one of the guests in the party but was in close association with the host to know all the details. For a $18.50 per person with a min restriction on guest list - I think 25 , plus charges for server charge etc for another $150 . It was an expensive party. So the bar is set much higher for the quality of food. Let's start with the good Pani puri was decent . The server was inexperienced . Way too slow to cater a very small Crowd. Papdi Chaat was decent. Nothing too great but not too bad. Aaloo tikki was very bland . Hey I am not looking for spicy - I am looking for flavors. Had it not for the chutneys I wouldn't have eaten it at all. Choley accompanying the aaloo tikki were horrible . Please don't call this choley . I bet you have never had the real street food , if you call your stuff as choley . Now the biggest bummer of the eve - Kathi roll. Hell you don't know your food . Kathi roll is made on rumali roti. Yes it's very difficult prep. If you can't make it then at least try a better alternative . Thin tortilla are much better than the thick, overladen with grease sick parathas of yours. I took one bite and spit it out - it was that bad. The chicken and paneer fillings were passable at the best. The oil used for deep frying tikki and for the parathas was stale. I could taste it. And she closed the food 1 hour before the end time. We had lots of kids in the party and one of the guests requested if he can keep a few tikki for the kids . She refused point blank that she has turned off the fryer. I was livid . Bad food, high price , and to add to it cutting corners on time and not serving guests. I strong armed her into starting the fryer again as she was suppose to serve for 2 hours and not one. DO NOT RECOMMEND HER. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. read more

What a find - we first had them cater at our house last year for Ganapati, and without a question asked them back this year for Ganapati celebrations. They are prompt, professional and extremely clean. Their menu choices are amazing and food tastes really good. Everyone at the event has been praising the quality and taste of the food. Highly recommend them - and we will surely be asking for them for more events in the coming years. read more

Vinita was very responsive from the first email, and from our email interactions, I just knew I could trust her. I had compared chaat party with at least a dozen other catering and restaurant options in the area and they came out on top as far as price/value combination. For lunch for 50 guests, we ordered bhel puri, frankies, veg biryani, and chai. All the food was impeccable and the frankies especialy were extremely fresh and delicious - I would say they were a hit, based on the compliments! Vinita and her teammate willingly provided some customized services that I needed with delivery, which made my usual 4-star rating for great places go to 5. She never said, "Sorry, we can't do that for you." Instead, her attitude was,"We will do what we can to make this perfect for you." Thank you, Chaat Party! It was solid working with you! read more

This was the second time within a span of 3 months that we worked with Chaat Party for catering an in house party. Words fall short to express the quality of food and professional service provided by Vinita. We ordered pani puri, pinwheel samosa, paneer tikka, chole, naan and rice. Chaat Party's pani puri is the best one me and 25-30 other guests have had in the bay area! Their paneer tikka had an amazing smoky flavor which you can only get at a restaurant back home. None of the curries were too creamy or tangy, perfectly made. The delivery was on time and hassle free. Post initiation, from finalizing the menu all the way upto delivery on the day of the party, Vinita makes the process extremely hassle-free. Me and many other guests will be returning customers to Chaat party. Thank you Vinita and team for the incredibly awesome food and service! read more

We have used Chaat Party for about 5 catering events in the last year, and their food is excellent and we always get great feedback from our guests (a number of whom are also catering from them now). We have used them for small events (around 30 guests) and large ones (around 80 adults and kids). They are a good hit with the kids also which is great. The food and setup is clean, delicious and they managed the hot tikkis and cold chaat very well. Highly recommended. read more

If you want delicious, well-prepared Indian food, a responsive caterer who is also extremely organized, professional, and flexible, then Vinita at Chaat Party is your gal. She catered our engagement party, and did so with class and elegance. The set up was well-done, the food was delicious - our guests enjoyed every bit of it - and the servers were patient and kind. Overall, this was a great experience. Vinita was very easy to work with by email and on the phone. The crew cleaned up the place after service and did a great job. We've used Chaat Party twice and both times it has been a hit - both with us (party hosts) and the attendees. Everything from planning to execution to food is awesome. Vinita takes care of everything and is wonderful with accommodating our needs. The chaat is really good, especially the pani puri. Can't wait to have a Chaat Party party again! read more

I called Vinita for a corporate event after looking at her reviews here, and boy, I couldn't be more disappointed. I found her sub-standard on professionalism. The food was spicy- even though the request was to cater for party of non-Indians. She wrapped up almost after one hour 15 minutes, even before the party was over, much before the agreed timeline of two hours. This left the guests hurrying to get food. To top this, she packed the remaining food with herself- which was over half of what she originally brought. Left me thinking- what did I pay for! Good luck trying to get repeat business! read more

Very professional .. definitely recommend. I planned the party with Vinita over email. After understanding what I was looking for (a crowd of 60 people ), she offered recommendations. The crew of two was very prompt, showed up at the time they had given to me, quickly did their set up and we were ready to roll. The food was definitely a big hit ! read more

We catered food from Chaat Party for our baby shower. We were quite impressed with Vinita's professionalism. After the initial conversation over phone, Vinita agreed to come over to our place so that we could sample her food. This really helped us be more confident about what to expect for the event. On the day of the event, Vinita and her crew were able to get setup pretty quickly. The food was outstanding and our guests were raving about the food, especially the pani puri, papdi chaat and aloo tikki chaat. We definitely plan on using Chaat Party for future events and would highly recommend them. read more

This was my first time catering from Chaat party. We did an on-site menu and asked Vinita to arrange for everything from tables to plates / cutlery in addition to food for about 50 people. We had Chaat Party at our home last evening: they came on time, set up everything and the food was excellent. All our friends loved it and received compliments from almost everyone. Vinita is truly a professional lady and she was there beginning to end to ensure everything well to our needs. Her staff was also very courteous. We had pani-puri and these were prepared and served as per the eaters needs: neither too slow nor too fast, bhel was made in small batches which was crispy and delicious and pav bhaji was hot and the bread was made as per the needs and served hot. Strongly recommend them. read more

It was very easy to connect with Vinita and arrange for a party that turned out amazing. The team travelled to North Bay for the event. I had communicated with multiple chaat catering and restaurants and dealing with Vinita was prompt, professional and had the "can do" attitude. The team arrived on time with tasty food that was freshly prepared and well presented. The comments from our guests were, "feels like I am in India"' "one of the best pani pooris I have had". Our party had Indians and non Indians, and all enjoyed the food. Thank you Chaat Party for making our party a huge success read more

We have used Chaat Party twice. Once for my daughter's birthday party 2 years ago and once for a Elementary School Auction Event Party. Both times Chaat Party was amazing. The communication back and forth was so easy over email. Vinita is wonderful to work with. They showed up on time and had all the set up ready very fast. I am amazed at how incredible the flavors are. I honestly have not had such great flavors at any restaurant in the US ever! My mouth just waters thinking about it and I cannot wait to have her back at an event. For those that think she is a little more expensive, it was worth it for us to not have the hassle of someone saying yes, yes, but not really understanding our request. Vinita was so responsive! read more

We absolutely loved the food at an event catered by Chaat Party a couple of weeks ago, and so, when we had reason to host a party of 30 guests at our home we immediately decided to call Vinita and hire Chaat Party. The food once again was amazing -- a burst of flavors, best Indian food I've had. And Vinita was very easy to work with and very professional, as were the three employees she brought with her.
