Why 4 stars? Because I'm happy that we have another boba shop in the area…read more --- --- --- We moved here in July of 2021 and there was not a single boba shop within several miles. Now there are a handful nearby and Boba Queen is one of the newest. I always like smoothies at these places and there were only three to choose from: taro, mango or strawberry. Normally I would go for one of the other two flavors, but I felt like doing something a little different today and went with Strawberry. Plus, the picture of it on the menu looked amazing. As it turns out, it was definitely an enjoyable drink, but it wasn't necessarily one I'd rush back to order again. It was a pretty intense flavor of strawberry that tasted a tad artificial. Again, it wasn't bad, but I'd probably just opt for the safe bet of taro next time. And this was my fault, but I should have gotten strawberry popping bobas with this particular drink. The regular boba was tasty but strawberry flavored boba would have been a better match. In addition to the drinks, there are some Asian candies and snacks available for purchase here too. I was tempted to grab something, but a big cup of boba was enough :)

Liz took our order but had made my drink wrong. She put Crystal Boba in it when I had ordered Lychee Jelly and put Lychee Jelly in my son's drink instead. My son decided to keep his drink but I wanted mine re-made since I wanted what I ordered. Liz seemed annoyed and instead of asking to remake the drink she said she can refund the drink. Rolled her eyes ... Ok! I drove all the way to this spot to get a drink not to get a refund. She never suggested to remake my drink!! So, I asked for her to remake the drink correctly. As I go try to go drink the new drink, I saw a small brown hair on my ice cube inside. I was horrified! I took photos and called her and asked for her name. She was talking smart on the phone and asked if the hair was brown or blue ... wtf? Why does it matter what color ... obviously you did something to my drink!! She was being passive aggressive and rude with me saying I can write a bad review if I want and her name was Liz. I asked for her manager's name who is Taylor by the way. I also requested for a full refund of my drink so hopefully I get that which I will be checking. This is just absolutely crazy! Just because you get the order wrong and having a bad day you shouldn't just again mess up on another drink to be spiteful. Never will I stop by this Boba tea spot again. If I could rate zero stars I would. Very disappointing!!
