We signed up for a wedding package at Starling Hill (Audubon Center at Debs Park). We worked with Kim as our lead coordinator and also worked with Katie who was the associate lead and our day-of coordinator. It was easy to have a wedding package, so we didn't have to seek out many separate wedding vendors and read tons of different contracts. We appreciated how the main essential event set-up was all in one place. Saved us so much time and energy working with these true professionals. They offered narrowed down options, which we really appreciated to save us from decision-fatigue, but if we had special upgrade requests, Kim and her team figured them out to allow for customization too. Kim was easy to reach and super helpful to handle any concerns with her many years of planning expertise. Her and her team were also fun to work with and super responsible and professional, so the actual wedding day was extremely low stress. The vendors Ebeling Events arranged for us as a part of our package were all amazing: florist, catering, bartenders, cake, DJ, lighting, rentals, decor, shuttle, and security. Kim was also an incredible resource for connecting us with outside vendors, as we hired our photographer and make-up artist from her list of recommendations and they were stellar, too. The Ebeling Events team is so talented at what they do. We were extremely impressed when watching Kim form the schedule for the day, and her ability to coach and wrangle the families at our rehearsal was legendary, too. We would have been lost and without Kim and her team. Thanks to Kim and Katie!

The event was plagued by disorganization, poor…read morecommunication, understaffing, and repeated service failures--from incorrect setup and unprofessional staff behavior to inadequate bar service, restroom issues, missing personal property, and lack of onsite management. Critical details were missed, guests were treated dismissively, and the overall experience fell far below expectations for a once-in-a-lifetime event. This was an unacceptable level of service, and I would not recommend this venue. I am unable to in words describe how stressful the day was and how you can get better value and service at other venues from speaking with several newlyweds and industry event coordinators.

They had a nice waterfall outside, clean and cute bathrooms, an outside patio on both sides, and a glass window looking out into the nature. The valet parking was efficient as well. It was a bit of a walk to the venue from the parking area but we had so much fun. The biggest surprise was the food. The appetizers were all amazing and the main dishes were good as well. I think this was one of the best foods I've had at a wedding. They also had a pho bar, to my surprise was also included in the venue. Now the pho itself...the broth was meh and noodles were thin rice noodles, but, the concept was genius for an Asian wedding. I loved the Korean fried chicken! Drinks were so delicious and bartenders/sergers/staff were all amazing.

She also made sure we had everything we needed to be prepared. She is truly a wealth of knowledge when it comes to putting together a wedding. On the day of, everything looked perfect thanks to Katie. I was not very specific about what I wanted but I brought all the decor and Katie made everything look amazing. I did not have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day because I knew she had it handled. I cannot recommend her enough if you are planning any event!

We first spoke to Katie for an initial call and she was really knowledgable and friendly that I was sad to hear we would be working with another coordinator, but Emily happily jumped on a call to ease any worries I may have had. We went with the Month of Coordination service which allowed us to do most of the planning ourselves (most of our vendors were locked in early on, but MB provides a lovely list of vendors they've worked with in case it's needed). Emily had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire (you can tell they know what they're doing with the questions being asked) and went over every detail with us, including areas we were still figuring out. She was available for any questions I had as well leading up to the day, made sure to reach out to all of our vendors with the master timeline, and even provided some guidance for my cousin that was officiating for the first time. A big bonus is how many weddings they've coordinated at Walnut Grove that they're very familiar with the venue and the folks from Command Performance Catering. Emily led us through rehearsal the day before and made sure the actual wedding day went smoothly. She made it possible for us to focus on enjoying the day with our friends and family, but still keep on schedule with her gentle reminders.

We were so fortunate to work with Jessica from Three Little Birds not only as our wedding planner,…read morebut also for rentals, and we truly could not have done this without her and her team. We chose a partial planning package so we could collaborate closely for the months leading up to the wedding, and it made all the difference. From table layouts to glow bars and all of the creative ideas in between, Jessica helped bring everything to life and together seamlessly. Jessica and her team always found solutions that made our vision possible and wedding day stress free. We also hired a full support team from Three Little Birds in addition to Jessica, our day of planner and Bre, our coordinator, and that decision paid off in a big way. The entire Three Little Birds team kept everything running smoothly and effortlessly, setting up, moving us through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing without a single hiccup. The event felt calm, organized, and joyful from start to finish, which allowed us to actually enjoy our day. We could not recommend Jessica and her team more highly.

We had an unbelievably disappointing experience with 3 Little Birds for our chairs and linens…read morerentals during a corporate event. The team arrived almost an hour late, several seat cushions were visibly stained and even molded, the cushion covers were not all the same color we had asked for when booking, and some of their staff were rude to us. Members of our own team had to jump in to cover cushions, tie them to chairs, and set them up to attempt an on-time event start, despite having had many other things to take care of for the event. At one point, our own executive leadership, who had arrived to attend the event, were helping assemble chairs just to keep things moving. Post event, we expressed our extreme disappointment, and after some back and forth over the course of weeks, the company did acknowledge the issues and agreed to provide a partial refund. Unfortunately, despite months of follow-up and repeated assurances, it has now been over FIVE months, and the refund has still not been provided. I normally prefer to handle situations like this privately and give disappointing companies the benefit of the doubt. But the lack of follow-through and accountability has been incredibly frustrating here, so much time has been wasted with nothing to show for it. I am sharing our poor experience, complete with photos of how the rental items arrived, so others can make an informed decision when considering booking with this company.

The venue that they managed at our event on 08/18/18 was quite a challenge, logistics-wise, since it was a HUGE private residence in Calabasas. There were a few issues with the vendors parking and guests parking but Rachel handled it well with the valet crew and made the whole parking situation in order. There were lots of items that were set-up in 3 different locations: Ceremony, Cocktail & Reception, and not-to-mention the BIG 10-12 bedroom house in the property. I can go on & on with this team...
