They were very creative and helpful to understand what I wanted and what we needed. We have worked together several times now and I really love hiring them. I will keep using them in the future for all my events and personal shots. I am a coordinator in the TV Film and Photo world here in LA. I first used them for my head shots, then used them for a corporate gig, and then on set for BTS, and finally some small studio fashion campaign stuff. The post production work is really fantastic. The video editing I have seen really stands out. Hard to always find someone you will keep working with, but always grateful when you do.

I had Leona and her camera over for my husbands' family reunion! A first with a professional…read morephotographer. From the start, Leona communicated very well via email/phone prior to the event with the expectations, logistics/visions/ ect. Very positive energy and aura. She listened to "my vision" of what they day was going to be like....a little hectic and chaotic with SO many relatives in town for the event....but she took on the challenge and came with her game face & camera around her neck (with a smile & Smarties for the kids). She was very easy and relaxed which made the day that much easier!!! I didn't want the event to be overshadowed with a photographer "snapping photos in their face" or bothering those family members who were trying to visit.....we were going for casual and unobtrusive. Leona was not only friendly but very professional. She took casual photos as well as candids. She was very under the radar unless we asked her to snap certain must have moments/photos!! THe ironic thing is, I had just been to a wedding that my 2 yr old daughter was in the day before and THAT OTHER photographer actually "snapped" at her for stepping on the wedding dress.....AND had my little one was in tears and not wanting to take pictures because she was now afraid of him and quipped at her! He did not know how to pose her in pictures considering her small height...there were posts from the bridge blocking my daughter from being in most of the pics.!! REALLY??? THAT photographer obviously did not know how to work with young children NOT THE CASE with Leona!!!! The children at the reunion gravitated to Leona and her lens and she was able to capture their attention....make them silly and giglle and HAVE fun! Anyone who can do that to the 5yr and under crowd (with no tears just smiles)--gets 5 stars as well!!! Leona utilized the grounds, scenery and different background of nature to create the most beautiful pictures......of our BIG family. We could not be more happy about ALL the pictures taken of 4 generations of family. Everyone LOVES the photos!!!! She will be our photographer for a long time......an will recommend her to all our friends as well!! Anastasia Castro Valley, CA

I didn't hire Leona to take photos for me but a friend of mine had some taken for a website I helped her create and my friend told me about the great experience she had shooting with Leona. I worked with Leona on getting the photos they took properly formatted for the site, including making some requests to have photos taken in a certain way so they would best fit on the site. Leona gets the photos she takes to her clients quickly and without issue. I can confidently recommend Leona's photography services both to those wanting great photos of themselves, their loved ones, or their families and to webmasters looking for photographers to take photos for websites they are developing.

First time visitors to this photo studio…read more We were here to take my daughter's senior year high school photos. The first impression upon entering the building was that it was a very nice set up. There were many very nice photographs on display everywhere. There were also old cameras on display which was a nice touch. It was a good first impression of the business. The two young ladies seated behind the front counter were very friendly and professional and immediately assisted my family and I. GREAT customer service. Approximately ten minutes went by when the photographer assigned to us, Paula sat at our table and we chatted for a few minutes about the photos to be taken and the area we currently reside in which was nice. We were taken to the rear of the large studio and Paula got to work. She is a GREAT photographer and an even nicer person. She was so friendly, funny and down to earth. Paula did her thing as far as taking many, many pics but was also open to our feedback on a few pics. We have yet to see the finished product or pricing so I cannot comment on those two items. My review is simply for my first impression of the studio and the amazing staff.

As a visionary photographer and expert in architectural photography, I first became acquainted with…read moreLuis Angel Photography when I flew to Los Angeles to obtain photographs of several high-end properties that my employer (a realty company specializing in high-end properties throughout the U.S. and Canada) were advertising on their site. Due to a recent slump in the lives of one of our clients, he decided to put up for sale two of his properties in Southern California to help offset financial losses he endured during the past two years. I was referred to Luis Angel by one of my colleagues in Palm Springs, and decided to hire him to take high quality photographs of the exteriors and interiors of my clients properties. Focusing on the "money shots" that will help sell the properties quickly, Luis Angel utilized several lighting measures involving natural and artificial lighting in order to capture the warmth and sunny atmosphere Palm Springs is known worldwide for. From amazing shots of the poolside to eye-catching images that focused on the structural uniqueness of each property to candid photography of plants, street scenes and even commercial centers nearby (these photos were extremely beneficial in getting prospective buyers to see the amenities of each property's location), the properties were swooped up by buyer in less than two months. As a freelance photography consultant, Luis Angel works primarily from home but is able to travel with advanced notice to meet with potential clients. With a charming disposition and an eye for uniqueness, I highly recommend his services to anyone seeking high-caliber architectural photography. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
