Back in March of this year, some strong winds blew over one side of my 20 year old shared wooden fence that was already in bad shape. We were hoping it would hang on a little longer, but nope! We decided to bite the bullet and change all of our fencing and gates before the others failed. It took some time to come to an agreement with both neighbors, but Travon and Tiffany were so patient and communicative throughout the entire process. I got quotes from four other companies, and Stylistic was very fair and competitive, if not one of the cheaper ones we got quoted. The thing that set them apart was their communication and professionalism. If there was any question or concern, they were quick to respond by email/text/voice notes; anything to make sure that we were on the same page. Any change orders and things that came up were addressed quickly and no shortcuts were taken from start to finish. Those are the things you can't really put a price on! Added bonus that Travon and Tiffany are simply hilarious! We ended up with the vinyl gates/fencing in the cypress color and they look beautiful and hope they last for a very long time. We're so happy with the final results! What are you waiting for? Go get your fences changed with Stylistic Fencing!

Their pride is their "14 week lead time" something they boast very loudly. Honestly, it's actually a sign of failure somewhere within the organization, and signals mismanagement and incompetence. Perhaps you should consider hiring more employees.

Five Stars Across the Board - True Craftsmen and Kind Souls…read more It's rare these days to find a team that truly gets it--that understands quality, values integrity, communicates clearly, and treats your home as if it were their own. But that's exactly what you'll find with Pro Home Improvement in Escondido. From day one, Francisco was not just a contractor--he was a partner. A super leader in every sense of the word: calm, genuine, respectful, and laser-focused on doing things right. He listened carefully, offered smart solutions, and kept us in the loop every step of the way with his clear and graceful communication. His crew? Absolute gems. Friendly, punctual, and dedicated--showing up early, staying focused, and delivering results that exceeded expectations. We're talking expert carpentry, meticulous painting, and detailed repairs done with the kind of craftsmanship that's getting harder and harder to find these days. But what really set them apart was how they went above and beyond. We had some unexpected issues pop up (as you do with homes!), and instead of nickel-and-diming us or dragging things out, they jumped in with solutions--fast, efficient, and top-quality. Their responsiveness and flexibility were a breath of fresh air. The value they delivered? Outstanding. Every dollar spent came back tenfold in peace of mind and pride in our home. The attention to detail in the stucco and paintwork alone deserves a standing ovation. In a world full of rushed jobs and corner-cutters, Francisco and Pro Home Improvement stand out as old-school pros who still believe in doing things the right way. They see the big picture, honor their word, and truly care. If you're lucky enough to get on their calendar--book them. You'll be glad you did.

Both my front and backyard were in serious need of help (pictured attached) I hadn't maintained them for about four months, and the weeds had completely taken over, even growing through turf and rock hardscape in the backyard. They also trimmed an ivy wall coming over from my neighbor's yard that had gotten pretty unruly on my side. The father and son team was meticulous, thorough, and incredibly hardworking. The price seemed to be a value too. The transformation was honestly shocking, in the best way. It looks like I have brand new yards, not just cleaned-up ones. I'm especially excited that they'll be coming back monthly to help maintain everything. I'm no longer embarrassed to look out my office window at the front yard, and I can't wait to actually enjoy hanging out in the backyard again without the eyesore. If you're looking for a landscaping team that's responsive, detail-oriented, and delivers real results, I highly recommend Ramos Construction.

We also had an existing retaining wall that needed to be replaced. I wanted to push the wall back by a few feet to make the overall size of the yard much bigger. So I set out to find someone who could do a concrete brick retaining wall and found Barney's Concrete on Yelp. They had really great reviews, and had pictures of concrete brick walls that were exactly what I wanted. He also did turf as well which was really intriguing. Ideally I wanted to have one contractor to do all of the work, instead of having to manage multiple contractors. Daniel came out immediately to measure my yard and quoted me a reasonable price. In the end, he and his team demo'd our yard, built a concrete brick wall, laid concrete down for a new patio, and laid turf. The results are amazing, and we're now in our backyard every single day. Two things I especially appreciated were Daniel's (the owner) communication. He was very communicative throughout the process, always asking questions, giving me a heads up on when he'd be arriving, etc. He was also very thorough with his work and really went above and beyond. He didn't try to rush the project and instead took the time to make sure everything was done right so that it would last a long time. I had a great experience working with Daniel and his team. We plan on working with them again in the future to do our front yard!
