Bought an additional remote from him and it was the less than the price from depot. So happy with the service, had Rotem give me a quote for an insulation of an additional opener on another door. Woke up to find our double garage door was broken (single door hasn't worked for a year) and would not close. My mom had problems with her garage door a few years ago and recommended Certified Garage Doors. My husband called them to see if they would come out and give us a quote. When he called he was told to send him pictures of the doors so he could determine what was wrong with them. Once he received the pictures he gave us a quote and scheduled to come out the next day. When they came out to fix our door, they found that there were a couple other things wrong, but they could fix it as well. They were here for about an hour and fixed our double and single garage doors all for $130. Which was only a few dollars more than what he quoted. I saw they had great 5 star views last year but none for the current year (2019). I decided to give them a call. Wayne did a fantastic job fixing my garage door opener sprocket which was totally shot. The teeth had broken off which he indicated is a common thing after years of use, especially 25 years. I seriously screwed up my garage door while trying to "fix" it and found Wayne through his reviews. He was amazing! He showed up within an hour and immediately set to work. I backed in to my garage door over the weekend and I ended up taking the side cables off the garage, it dropped, and the torsion spring got unwound. Now when I try to open the garage it barely opens and it bent the metal piece off the garage where the manual/auto latch is attached to. I called Wayne and he made it look easy fixing my garage door. He fixed and adjusted the torsion spring. Added a brace to where I hit the garage. Made sure the door is opening and closing properly, bolted some of the missing/lose bolts, re-sync the motor, and fixed the bent metal piece Wayne definitely knows what he was doing and I would recommend him if your garage door need fixing. read more

Please, please, please support this good man. I have no idea how he makes any money because he charges practically nothing, so let's make sure his days are fully booked. He honestly should be charging more based on his level of knowledge and expertise. I called with an issue regarding my door coming off the track and he was at my house 2 hours later. He spent 2 hours fixing the track issue, but also loose bolts on a heavy wooden door, switched out short bolts for longer ones to make sure the heavy wooden door wouldn't fall from the ceiling, added extensions for the safety beams and a number of other things HE DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR. I had these guys come out and tell me that my garage door motor was completely broken. That my transformer was blown and that my motherboard was blown. They said I need a completely new motor and new screw. I said ok how much for a new one............they said $350. I said sure come out and change it. I had a spring break last week (luckily as the garage was doing down as we were leaving, so we weren't trapped) and I went to Yelp to find someone to call. With the ratings they had I didn't even bother calling someone else. I called and talked to Wayne and he said he could be out the next day, and apologized that he couldn't make it sooner. When he came the next day I was seriously impressed with the level of detail for EVERY aspect of the door that was having his guys check. Essentially they rebuilt the door (hinges, supports, rollers, mounting screws, etc) for a very reasonable price.
