Had an issue with my garage door remotes and programming them. Called multiple repair companies. Within minutes, Certified returned my call and stated they could be at my house in 90 minutes. Upon arrival, Rotem the technician immediately diagnosed the issue. He had the part, replaced it and the opener worked perfectly. The cost was exactly what was quoted on the phone. Bought an additional remote from him and it was the less than the price from depot. So happy with the service, had Rotem give me a quote for an insulation of an additional opener on another door. Next month, I will be calling Certified Garage Doors and requesting Rotem for the job. read more

Wayne is awesome. He is super honest and really does the right thing for the garage. He is not the type of guy who will try and make your replace things unnecessarily or convince you have him install a new unit. He fixed my problem and we decided to preemptively fix a couple issues that were likely to cause a problem down the road. I would recommend him to anybody. He replaced my circuits, gears, and rollers all for just over $300. read more

Came on short notice, fixed the electrical communications problem and repaired a minor dent in the door--quickly, professionally and very reasonably! Will use again! read more

The spring on our garage door broke. I called Wayne at Certified Garage Doors and he rearranged some appointments to come over in an hour to fix it. Not only did he fix the spring, but he replaced the rollers and also fixed the other garage door for less than the competition. Wayne and his crew were great and went above and beyond! read more

Woke up to find our double garage door was broken (single door hasn't worked for a year) and would not close. My mom had problems with her garage door a few years ago and recommended Certified Garage Doors. My husband called them to see if they would come out and give us a quote. When he called he was told to send him pictures of the doors so he could determine what was wrong with them. Once he received the pictures he gave us a quote and scheduled to come out the next day. When they came out to fix our door, they found that there were a couple other things wrong, but they could fix it as well. They were here for about an hour and fixed our double and single garage doors all for $130. Which was only a few dollars more than what he quoted. I am so glad we found Certified Garage Doors because we thought we would have to replace the double door and that was going to cost us over over $1,000. The 2 guys that came out were super friendly and funny. They worked quick and did a great job! read more

I was on Yelp looking for a company to take a look at our garage door since there was a problem. I stumbled upon Certified Garage Doors to look more into reviews. I saw they had great 5 star views last year but none for the current year (2019). I decided to give them a call. Someone answered without giving me a name and I asked if they could possibly send someone out to take a look at the problem. The guy who answered was rude and had an attitude. I understand it's Friday and it's 6:30 pm but there is no need for that. You could've had a customer, but I guess not. read more

My garage door would not go up. They gave me a quote over the phone and arrived the next day. Their price was reasonable and they did a great job. They went way beyond what I thought they would do. They checked all of the bolts and screws. They would replace them at no extra cost. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. read more

Wayne did a fantastic job fixing my garage door opener sprocket which was totally shot. The teeth had broken off which he indicated is a common thing after years of use, especially 25 years. He fine-tuned a few other things on my garage door and the whole system is operating better than it has since it was new. Very fair prices and super nice guys. read more

Wayne Marmon was super helpful with our garage door repair. We had a broken spring and he was very honest about the current condition of the door, what needed to be done to fix it, and gave a very reasonable price for parts and labor. He quoted me 1 to 1 1/2 hours to fix and was done within one hour, on the dot. He showed up right when we had scheduled--a huge deal for me since so many contractors have a hard time with that. I highly recommend Wayne and Certified Garage Doors. They know their stuff. read more

RUDE! Just called to see how much the service fee was. Dude had attitude then hung up after I thanked him. FYI, service fee is $79 +parts. Good luck dealing with them if you decide to use 'em. read more

I seriously screwed up my garage door while trying to "fix" it and found Wayne through his reviews. He was amazing! He showed up within an hour and immediately set to work. Not only did he fix the damage I'd done, but he also fixed things I didn't even know were wrong (I just knew the door never really worked right). He also replaced light bulbs, reprogrammed the keypad, reset the tracks and banged out the bent panel. He did a bunch of little things and still only charged me the original service call. it was great to find an honest person who does honest work. I would definitely recommend Wayne to anyone! read more

Wayne and his helper can out the same day I called and showed up on time... He had all the right parts to fix the problem on an eight year old door plus installed new rollers with ones that have ball bearings. My door operates like a new door! The work was completed in less than 30 minutes and the price was very reasonable. Jim read more

These guys showed up on time, did excellent work, and didn't charge me a penny more than they said they would. My garage door used to sound like the end of the world, but these guys fixed it so that it's so smooth and quiet it could sneak up on a jittery squirrel. If you have any garage door issues, call these guys. read more

I backed in to my garage door over the weekend and I ended up taking the side cables off the garage, it dropped, and the torsion spring got unwound. Now when I try to open the garage it barely opens and it bent the metal piece off the garage where the manual/auto latch is attached to. I called Wayne and he made it look easy fixing my garage door. He fixed and adjusted the torsion spring. Added a brace to where I hit the garage. Made sure the door is opening and closing properly, bolted some of the missing/lose bolts, re-sync the motor, and fixed the bent metal piece Wayne definitely knows what he was doing and I would recommend him if your garage door need fixing. read more

This is who you want to use! Hands down the best service I've receive. The response time was fast, he was on time, did a great job and best of all he was priced very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone in need of garage help. read more

I spoke with many companies before working with Certified garage door. I'm helping my parents get the springs replaced from out of town. When I called after at 6pm. I was surprised that they picked up. He told me that it would be the day after tomorrow at 9 am. I asked that he text me before coming to my parents home. They are in their late 80's and I wanted to be involved. Not only did I get that text the morning of the service call. He was on time and finished the job swiftly. Great service at a great price. read more

Over and above service. Very fair price. Fast. Not only fixed broken spring, but took the time to adjust / align garage door, bolt the sensors to the rail, show me how to lube the door, etc. Just did it right and showed me all the things done incorrectly when it was originally installed. Hire them! read more

I had these guys come out and tell me that my garage door motor was completely broken. That my transformer was blown and that my motherboard was blown. They said I need a completely new motor and new screw. I said ok how much for a new one............they said $350. I said sure come out and change it. They never returned my call to set up an appointment so I had to call someone else. The new guys came out and said there was nothing wrong with my garage motor just needed a new hinge. And that would cost me $63 bucks. Certified Garage Doors lied to me.......flat out. My Garage door is working perfectly thanks to www.phoenixazgaragedoorrepair.com Watch out for Certified Garage Doors. They lie. read more

I called this morning because my garage door opener and key pad would not shut the garage door. The owner, was amazing he walked me through fixing the eyes of the garage so I wouldn't have to be charged a service fee for him to come out. He was very nice, and patient with me as I tried to configure the eyes... AND IT WORKED! I definitely will utilize him and recommend him to others. Talk about honesty in business, you don't get this kind of service anymore and I was pleasantly surprised! Thank you sooo much! read more

Please, please, please support this good man. I have no idea how he makes any money because he charges practically nothing, so let's make sure his days are fully booked. He honestly should be charging more based on his level of knowledge and expertise. I called with an issue regarding my door coming off the track and he was at my house 2 hours later. He spent 2 hours fixing the track issue, but also loose bolts on a heavy wooden door, switched out short bolts for longer ones to make sure the heavy wooden door wouldn't fall from the ceiling, added extensions for the safety beams and a number of other things HE DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR. Ethical and honest are what I look for with this kind of service and he delivers it and then some. Do not look any further, please call this man with any garage door service you need. read more

I talked to several garage door companies before choosing them. Wayne was so helpful and responsive to all of my questions. My garage doors were just installed and they look beautiful. This company was so nice and easy to work with. Price was exactly as quoted with no hidden fees. They didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need. I would absolutely use them again in a heartbeat! They certainly went above and beyond all expectations. read more

Once you work with Chris, you can tell that he is actually very passionate about garage doors and proud of what he does. You seldom see service providers like that. The fee was reasonable, and he gave me some really useful advice on how to take care of my garage door and what to expect as it ages. I highly highly recommend this company. read more

Very reasonable price and good service, had them changed my damaged garage door a few month ago and I keep them in my bookmark.

Very happy with service. The installers called to tell me they were running slightly behind. They were quick and the pricing was reasonable. Will use again in the future. read more

Wayne showed up (on time) with a trainee, the same day my boyfriend called to schedule help - love the same/next day availability! Wayne was very pleasant and made me feel at ease, I noticed he was calm and patient with his trainee, and even with a trainee the work was done in about 45 minutes. Not that I would need their assistance for a while, as they did such a great job, but I would not hesitate to use this company again. read more

Very, very pleased with the service. My garage door springs broke in the morning and Chris was on-site the same day. Not only did he replace the springs, but he gave the entire door a tuneup and lube- it hasn't operated this quietly since it was new. He also showed me how to maintain the door myself. I got a lot more than I expected at a price that was more than fair. Would definitely use CG again! read more

I like to support small businesses, and this business is a phenomenal example of why I do. The business owner, Wayne, came out to fix our garage door after a different company failed to fix it. Wayne fixed it, and I won't even go into how great a deal money-wise it was. It was a GREAT deal! If we ever need our garage door or garage door opener fixed or repaired again, this is our company. He is the type that does way more than necessary to help his customers. Look no further, this is the company you should choose if you live anywhere near the east valley in Arizona. read more

Believe the reviews - these guys are awesome! I had a spring break last week (luckily as the garage was doing down as we were leaving, so we weren't trapped) and I went to Yelp to find someone to call. With the ratings they had I didn't even bother calling someone else. I called and talked to Wayne and he said he could be out the next day, and apologized that he couldn't make it sooner. When he came the next day I was seriously impressed with the level of detail for EVERY aspect of the door that was having his guys check. Essentially they rebuilt the door (hinges, supports, rollers, mounting screws, etc) for a very reasonable price. Wayne let me know what it would cost to get the door working, and had very reasonable additions that worked to make my door better than it was when it was new. It's so quiet now! read more

Wayne is the best! I've used him for years and wouldnt consider anyone else for garage door work. Honest as the day is long and he works his ass off. You can really tell that the owner of this business is most concerned about his work and customer care. I phoned Chris about a cracking door and he came out to look at it that day and had it repaired in two days. He would have done it the very next day but I was not available. He even delayed his vacation so he could fix my door before he left. I will always use Certified Garage doors for all my garage door needs. read more

We recently replaced our garage door & had a great experience with Wayne from Certified Garage Doors. From the time he answered the phone, he was very helpful, and no qualms about me calling around to get other quotes. The way he handled that initial phone call (and positive reviews) was what ultimately had me go with him for the new door. He continued to provide great customer service through the process. He arrived on time and promptly replaced the door. Highly recommend them. read more
