I bought an Audi Q5 here in December and the car has been running well, Normally, at least with my past experience buying used cars at dealers, most dealers do any maintenance that is needed. 2 weeks after getting the car. My battery started to die. I looked at the battery in the car and it and a manufacture date code of 2012. My car is a 2012 Audi. So I had to spend over $400 for a new battery. While I was getting that done, I was told my front brake pads were very worn. I think it I was .3mm. So a month later I had to spend $1500 on new front breaks. The people were nice. My experience here was much better than that last dealer I bought a car from but yes I am disappointed that after spending over $11,000 for this car, I had to turn around and spend $2000 for battery and brakes. I am going to write them to see what they say but from reading other reviews on here where others have had the same problem, I am not expecting much. Run! Run or drive very, very far away from this dealership. Worst experience possible. It all started with a reasonable price and a smiling sales rep. However once you sign the documents and get the key - the nightmare begins. Exactly 3 days after I picked up the car the "Check Engine" light comes on. Strange for it to be so fast, but fine - run my little computer - it tells me - it's a misfire on Cylinder 5. 90% of the time this is a Spark Plug - maintenance issue - fine. I change the spark plugs - the Check Engine pops again. I'm no mechanic so I'm forced to go and spend $170 to get it diagnosed. It turns out it's a broken rocker arm and likely a damaged cam shaft on Cylinder 5. The mechanic is literally showing me how the part is not moving at all. The wonderful thing about this is that it's so deep in the engine that it's a 1+ Week long job. He doesn't want to block his repair bay for over a week with one car. He's also not the only one. I called 6 different car repair facilities and they all say they don't do jobs like this. Now what are the odds of this extremely major car part breaking down literally 3 days after purchase, vs the odds of them just clearing the Check Engine code before you test drive it and make it look like it has no problems? You make that decision. So the "Powertrain warranty" that the dealership will praise to you is also fairly worthless. Out of the 6 places I called - none of them accept that warranty. I had to call the warranty company multiple times, and finally got a car shop that does this kind of repair, and accepts the warranty but it has over a 6+ week long wait. Plus the 1 week+ it will take to repair the car. So I have this car that's I've driven for 3 days, and is sitting in the driveway. To add insult to injury - the simplest thing of License Plates - they screwed that up too. I sent all required documents within 5 days. Had to call and text my sales person 6+ times only to hear "yeah, checking on it". Until the day after the temporary plates expired (and your car is illegal), called. They gave me new temporary plates, and started working on what should have been done weeks earlier. Also after I told one of the Dealer managers, Amin, about my issue. All they would say is "You have a warranty". Twice he promised he'll call me back to tell me whether his mechanic knew of a shop that would do that repair sooner - not a single phone call. So again, don't be fooled by decent pricing, and fake smiles. RUN AWAY! Spend your money elsewhere and avoid this place like the plague. read more

I bought a second used vehicle from this dealership, both times Archiel was my salesman. My first was a 2010 Acadia, I have not have any issues since I bought it more than 2 years ago. Most people go to buy a used car with the expectations that everything will be perfect, however if new vehicles fail the used ones should have the same or more negative expectations, mine so far has been great, I'm lucky that I can do my own maintenance and search for the times when things need to be done, no one fail so far. My second was a BMW X5, it had a few issues but I did not have any problems with the dealer, they did the right thing for me. I highly recommend this dealership and Archiel as your salesman. I purchased a vehicle with this company in June 2022. My salesperson Julio made promises about my warranty, a seal for my window, and to be responsive. I have over 20+ messages/calls that have gone unanswered. I tried to speak with the owner and other salespeople but no one cares. My window gets stuck coming down and the seals are broken. My fiancee wasnt paying attention to the details on the paperwork he was focused on the monthly payment, so that's his fault.... but these guys are very polite crooks. Not to mention that the car had major issues 45 days after we bought it, that bullshit free warranty they gave us conveniently did not cover the issues that were wrong. Ok, so I came today (sunday) with the intent to buy a car. What a disappointment ! First, the young man that greeted me did not even come off the porch to talk to me, instead I had to look up at him and try to talk. Nothing to expensive but I was hoping was reliable just for him. The car looked fairly good for a 17 y.o. with minor scapes and dents and sounded good but in less then a month was not. First of all it was missing a small compartment cover that they said they ordered. They said don't worry....to this day never got it and I've been getting the run around to get it. I've had to repair so much even though supposedly it was inspected so I don't know how it passed inspection. The sales person said they have a three month warranty special but that wasn't the case. I so regret getting this car that I may need to sell it and cut my losses before I'm out thousand of more dollars because I know something else will go wrong with the engine. Let me begin by saying that the sales person I dealt with, was very responsive, honest, and truly wanted to close a deal. In fact, we did close a deal online and through phone calls and texts. Management, however, was terrible. They refused to believe I was working full-time, even after providing paystub's And a teachers contract. I had found a vehicle that I really liked and they had a fairly decent price. I had bought a train ticket to come up to Northern Virginia from my home in North Carolina to sign paperwork and pick up the vehicle. But management nixed the deal at the last minute, because they claimed in their own words, nobody would answer the phone at your school to verify you work there. Bottom, line management, and the bank that was financing my deal thought I was lying about being a teacher. Funny, I'm a retired teacher after a 38 year career and I had just started working at a small private school. DON'T COME TO THIS DEALERSHIP EVER BECAUSE THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY INSTEAD OF THE SAFETY AND QUALITY OF THE CAR THEY SOLD YOU. I really hate to express my angry feeling online but this time, I was really pissed off. Here's the thing. I bought my 2010 Subaru Forester there on Sep.30, I really love that car. However, I had to admit it was my fault to take Julio's word of not going to do the inspection before purchasing. He told me there was a 3-months warranties so I did not need to get an inspection for the car. What a fool I am. I actually bought his words. After test drive, I told him there was humming noise and he told me it was normal for old Subaru. Again, I believed it. Also, The Tire Pressure Monitor light kept going on after I bought it but at that time I thought it was low-fuel warning light. Once I got home, I read the user manual and found out it was tire pressure light. So I decided to take the car to Subaru Dealer to do a thorough inspection. Then my nightmare came. First, the tire pressure monitor was out of function, which costed me 200 bucks. Then, the humming sound was the left-rear wheel bearing malfunction which will lead to brakes severe problem and this cannot be covered by Warranty which costed $750. If you thought that was it, you were naive. Third, All the oil like engine oil went old and need to be replaced. Which cost me $800 to do the maintenance. Last, the oil leaks was the biggest problem which costed about $2400. The only luck I got was this might be partly covered by warranty. What a dumbass I was. And I was really confused how this dealership got such a high-rate review. I swear I have done lots of research before walking this Certified Cars Center's door. If you want spend money wisely and get a reliable car, please keep away from this dealer. I don't want any trouble, I don't want to look any trouble for anyone cause I am just a foreign student. And as a law student, I know exactly what does agreement of Waive mean. I don't expect this dealer respond to me or reimburse. But this dealer, and Julio, you really disappointed me. How can you told me this car was fine while looking me at my eyes. Of course I would take care of this Forester, it has problems, but it never lies, not like this dealer. The only issue I encountered was that the car needed a new axel (we noticed during test drive) but they had it fixed for us for free and then the car drove just fine. I am a woman in my 20s (and I brought my one year old daughter with me) and I didn't encounter any of the sexism that some of the other reviewers have mentioned below. Bought a vehicle here. Dealership printed us a signed sheet, saying they would go half-&-half on repairs if it didn't pass maryland state inspection. They would take it to there mechanics shop and have it fixed and bill us when its done. They were able to do everything promised. It did take a bit of time but everything was eventually completed. Thats all that matters. We worked with Julio and he was a big help to us on the car buying process. He didn't have to stick his neck out for us but he did. I saw an add for a Mercedes, I was in the area and I decided to stop by to their place in Fairfax Virginia. They let me test drive the car, they were very courteous and did not pressure the purchase. I was there with my BMW but based on my past experience with official dealers I was very skeptic we could make a deal. ( My last experience a few years back I tried a trade in with dealer in Arlington, but they offered me 40% less than the value of my car and of course I left). They offered me ( to my surprise) a very fair value for my BMW and their processing charges were very minimal when compared to the last car I bought from an official dealer. AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN. SKEEZY DEALERSHIP. TL;DR: This dealership has MANY lemons on the lot. They know this and put minimal effort in maintaining their vehicles, (which is extra illogical since they overprice their vehicles so severely). Their "mechanic" is clearly either inexperienced or incompetent. If you consider shopping here, I would HEAVILY advise against it. Their cars look nice, but are dangerous money-suckers and its on you if you purchase one of them. They will NOT help you, under any circumstances, since they only care about making money-- not satisfying their customers. I wish I would've never wasted my money here. (PS, I drove multiple cars on that lot. Numerous had mechanical issues WHILE driving.) SITUATION: At first I was so glad about buying from here. I got a really cool Honda Accord coupe and was super excited about it. About a month after my purchase, the car started having oil issues. "Okay," I thought, at first. "An oil/filter change has to happen sometime." Though, I was told by my mechanic that whoever changed the oil last flooded the filter. I didn't think much of this at first, but then the SAME issue started recurring the next month. And then the next. And then the next, progressively getting worse and worse each time, no matter how much time and maintenance into it. Around this time, I also found out the car had previous severe damage that 1) was not reported to me and 2) was poorly repaired in the first place and would cost me extra to fix. So, basically, yeah... NOT "certified" at all. I contacted the dealership with my discoveries and they basically just said "Well, you bought the car 'as is' so that's all on you." Despite the fact that they had a lemon on their lot and assured me the car was in great condition. I went back a third time, after the oil issue got exponentially worse and I learned I'd have to pay $4000 in a preliminary step to fix the issue with the engine. This time, I went back with my past issues and wanted them to fix the car so I could get a new one from their lot. This was how I learned never to entertain a dealership who sold you a bad car in the first place. The manager, (on Saturday night) promised a loaner car while they repaired the faulty car they sold me. They were closed on Sunday, so we went back on Monday afternoon. First, they all of a sudden were out of loaners, having agreed to it the previous business day at closing (aka there was no reason for there not to be a loaner vehicle available). THEN, he "made an exception by loaning a car in their inventory." The kicker? On the loaner car, a 2010(ish?) Subaru SUV. the transmission was hardly functioning. When starting the car, the engine sounded like a rattle and it didn't last 2 blocks down the street before it started bogging down, rattling severely, and locking up on me. This car was exponentially more dangerous than the lemon they sold me in the first place! A deathtrap. (Also, it smelled like straight mildew. It was evident that it had been flooded in the past.) My father and I immediately returned to the dealership to get the SAFE car that we were promised. The owner refused and drove the car up the street, claiming that the car drove fine and he "would put his daughter in it with no issues". When we disputed this (obviously bs) claim, he just told me to use my fathers car, taking him away from his work. What sense does it make to put my disabled father in a dangerous, undrivable car? All because YOU lied and couldn't uphold YOUR promise?? If you could make an exception with a death trap, I don't understand why he couldn't make an exception with a healthy, safe car. How is a dealership (esp. one called "CERTIFIED car center") going to put you in a car that can hardly last a ride down the street? After they already sold you a lemon and failed to disclose issues with the vehicle? And promised they'd lend you a car while they corrected their mistake? Keep in mind, the barely-running new car was on inventory (aka ON SALE!!) They were going to sell that car to someone in that condition and tried to put me and my father in it, still refusing to acknowledge and fix their first transgression. read more

They will tell you there is a 3 month warranty and will fix any problems but they don't tell you it only covers 1000.00 with a 100 dollar deductible. What pos they are. One I hate is liars. I purchased a car that was in pretty good shape, however, there was a clear issue with the starter (clicking sound during ignition). I committed to buy the car on the condition that the starter was fixed prior to sale. They agreed and sent the car to their "mechanic." Two days later the car was fixed and I was told the the starter was fine and that the problem was occurring elsewhere - definitely not the starter. I took them at their word and bought the car. Two months later (after very limited use) the car breaks down and, surprise surprise, it was due to a FAULTY STARTER. Not only was the starter faulty, but my mechanic said it was improperly installed, old, and had clearly been an issue for quite some time (many, many months). He describe it as a ticking time-bomb and was shocked when I told him that another mechanic had given it his approval two months ago. The cost of the new starter was $250 (not including labor) which I asked Certified Car Center to cover considering they had assured me the starter was fine two months ago. I considered this a fair compromise. His response: Not my problem, the starter must have gone bad after the sale. Have a good day. On the whole, this is not that big of an expense, but I was really put off by their customer service. They are totally untrustworthy and refuse to rectify the situation despite the fact that they screwed up, or worse yet flat out lied. People like them are what make buying a used car so nerve-wracking. Save yourself the stress and take your business elsewhere. read more
