I hired Wilber's to paint the exterior of my house. Christian, the estimator, matched the price of…read morethe lowest of the other three painting estimates that I got. He also met my need to get the work done as soon as possible. In fact, after telling me that there was a two-month waiting list, once I approved the estimate, they showed up to begin the job just two days later. Not sure how that happened, but I'm not complaining. Steven, the job foreman, was very professional and highly skilled, notwithstanding his youth. Why do people I meet keep getting younger? He is a perfectionist, a virtue which you rarely encounter with home contractors. He even helped guide me with the color selection. I threw him a few curve balls during the job, and he did everything I asked him to do with a smile. He and his crew were on time every day, and were all polite, neat, and hard-working. They are acrobats on high ladders, and barely dripped a drop of paint where it didn't belong. The finished job looks great, and exceeded my expectations. It is also worth mentioning that Wilber's guarantees the durability of the paint job for three years. All the others who bid offered a two year guarantee. I can't speak to their other services, but I would hire Wilber's again for a major painting project, and recommend them.

JNG = Just No Good. Awful beyond words. I suppose there are worse painters out there, but it's hard…read moreto imagine. JNG seemed promising and responsive during the inquiry/interview phase; but ultimately JNG's work was sloppy, incomplete, and totally unsatisfactory. Words cannot express how awful the painting was, so I'll let the photos tell the story. I guess they were annoyed that they had to paint the wall registers while they were painting the rest of the wall. (Why would you even ASK if the painted wall registers should be included when you're re-painting?? Who would want to leave the old paint on the registers while applying new paint on the walls around them?) As you can see from the photos, they didn't even bother to unscrew the registers from the wall; neither did they paint them completely. They even painted the front door shut, and consequently several of the female realtors couldn't open it to show the house to clients. Owner Jaime Toledo thought nothing was wrong with that because *he* could open the door. My realtor finally asked her husband to fix it. Big mistake hiring JNG.

He arrived on time, did what needed to be done with minimal disruption, and left the job site neat and orderly. This is the experience I had with Premier Refinishing. I deliberately waited almost a year to write this review because I wanted to be sure that the refinishing did what I hoped it would do...make my outdated bathroom look more modern. I also wanted to ensure that the paint stuck to the tiles without bubbling or peeling. I'm pleased to say that Sal and his crew exceeded my expectations. Sal provided an accurate quote, his crew arrived on time each day, took great care to maintain a clean work site, and were personable and efficient. When a minor issue arose, Sal showed up ON EASTER DAY to make sure he understood what needed to be corrected and had his team come to me the next business day. As it turns out, the fix was relatively simple. I highly recommend using Premier Finishing based on the professionalism with which they executed the job.

The color stain we had chosen was not the color we had expected and the deck ended up BLUE to which Robert told me the color will get lighter after it thoroughly dried - prob a few weeks; then we could do another color. Unfortunately, the deck is still BLUE. It certainly now has been more than a few weeks as this was done in July. He then power washed and sealed my driveway and did work on my gutters which I was satisfied with. While still working at my home, the garage door spring snapped. Robert said he could fix it which I thought was great. He then spent a good part of day on the door. When he left I paid him a total of $3200, with $500 tip ($2500. cash & check for $1200). The next day, I called him about the garage door not closing properly but did not get any response. After 5 days and still no response from Robert, I was left with no choice but to call another company to resolve the problem. I resolved the problem by calling M&M Garage Door Service in River Edge. They replaced the cables and springs for the 2nd time costing me another $300 that should have been fixed correctly the first time by him. I called Robert again and several times after leaving messages asking if he could give back the $300 from the $500 tip I initially gave him to cover M&M's service call. I still have not received a check nor a returned call... WHAT A GUY!! I am disappointed in his professionalism since I had a liking for him and feel like I was taken advantage of.
