So i saw a good rating for this optometry and decided to try it out on my day off. No appointment made, went in and asked if i could be seen for a well eye exam because i needed glasses for school. Receptionist mentioned the optometrist was booked but decided to ask in case and turned out, optometrist just had a cancellation and fit me in right away. Very thorough in explanation of my eyesight and friendly. Glasses were very reasonable and overall service was the best. Never thought much of going to the eye doctor before but will def go back to this place for future needs. read more

Dr. Mallari is awesome and holds a special place in my heart. =] You get a whole hour of her time where she will go through a very thorough exam, and will actually discuss what exactly she is looking for and what she sees while you go through the various contraptions. She'll tell you what to look out for, and give little tips on eye health and ways you can keep your vision in tip top shape. Even during that awkward time when you're really trying your hardest to choose between 1 and 2, Dr. Mallari walks you right through and makes the selection easy. I've been seeing Dr. Mallari for a few years now for my annual eye exam and she is just amazing. She takes time to get to know you and teach you about your eyes. The last time i went i had to go at the end of the day because of work and even though i was her last patient of the day she made me feel like i was her first. She took time with me and didn't rush because it was the end of the day. It's very rare to find a doctor that genuinely cares. And even though she did recommend glasses to wear for computer use she didn't try to sell me on anything. I love the office and i love Dr. Mallari, i highly recommend her! read more

I had a good experience at this place. The optometrist was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and informative. The front office lady that helped me with frames gave me a similar experience. I just found it odd that I was scheduled for an appointment without my knowledge. I finally went around to listening to my voicemail and noticed I received a few messages from the office asking to confirm my appointment. I thought to myself what appointment? Well anyway it was after the day/time mentioned in the voicemail. Then I got a letter saying there's a $30 cancellation fee which will be waved this first time? For an appointment I never made? And besides if I never called back to confirm my appointment, that should've clued them in that I will not be making it. Oh well, there's dozens on optometrists in a 10 mile radius. Now if I somehow forgot about an appointment that was scheduled at my last visit 5 months ago(early December '15) then I apologize for the 3 stars. To anyone reading this, the visit was great but the scheduling left a bad taste. read more

I have been going to Dr. Fujimoto's office for almost 30 years ago (since I was a kid) and would never consider going anywhere else! In all these years, I've only had four different optometrists (very little turnover in doctors) and all have been fabulous. My entire family goes here and we all feel the same way - we would never switch to another optometrist. They have many patients that have been going to there for years, which says a lot about their practice. They are also kid-friendly, which is nice. This was the only doctor's visit I didn't dread when I was younger. read more

2 Stars for only the front office staff today. Why bother having a sign in sheet if you don't help people in the order in which they arrive? My husband and I both had pick ups, a person after us had a pick up, and that person was attended to first. I've never had such a ridiculous experience there before. Though I've been married for over 6 years, it seems that my files/paperwork still have my current, past, or both last names. My contacts/ glasses/ files always seem to get misplaced and I'm the one waiting around while my stuff is found in someone else's box/bag of belongings. It's old. Perhaps I should just have my exams there with my awesome doc but purchase items elsewhere. read more

My wife and I have been going there for years and have found that they do the best eye exam and more than cover all bases. When you come out you don't just know your perscription if you need new glasses/contacts but you know the health of your eye and so much more. If you want a cheap eye exam don't bother but if you want a full eye exam you will walk away knowing your in good hands then they are the people you want to see. read more

From the reception to the technician and the exam, all was done with friendliness and professionalism. I came in due to a yellow blister-like formation on my cornea. Dr. Fernando took her time to thoroughly examine my eye and to explain her findings. I had damage from a lot of sun exposure to my eyes due to being outdoors for my job. I felt very comfortable during my visit and I left knowing how I can protect my eyes from the sun and how to keep them healthy(eye drops and sunglasses). Dr. Fernando is just great! read more
