I had no idea Larrabee Herbs existed until I found it via Google Maps. I wondered about parking prior to visiting, as the storefront sits along W North Ave, but it ended up not being an issue. There is a small parking lot right outside the building on N 76th Ct, with a decent number of spots for the number of customers they get. Keep in mind that parking is also available along W North Ave if those spots are ever filled. After entering, I immediately started looking for the products I needed while an employee helped another customer at the register. Once he finished, he immediately asked me if I needed any assistance, and of course, I took him up on it. The employee was very informative about which products were available, as well as when the items I was looking for would arrive, as they were in high demand. All the items were displayed in alphabetical order, making it easy to find what I needed. I ended up purchasing 1-ounce bags of kola nut, licorice root, black walnut leaf, and cloves, since my original target products were not available. I really loved everything I discovered about what I purchased. All of them have wonderful results in combating bacteria in the stomach, and I hope to incorporate a few of them regularly into my dietary routine. As for kola nuts, I learned that they are caffeine-rich seeds from the African cola tree that are used to boost energy, enhance metabolism, and aid digestion. Containing around 2% caffeine, they act as a central nervous system stimulant, reducing fatigue and boosting mental alertness. Licorice root helps eradicate bacteria, especially alongside medical treatments. It inhibits bacterial growth, soothes inflamed tissues, and boosts protective stomach mucus. Other benefits include contributing to healthy skin and relieving colds and coughs. Black walnut contains compounds--particularly juglone in the hulls--that exhibit antibacterial, antiviral, and antiparasitic properties. Studies also show that regular consumption reduces inflammation and inhibits associated gastric damage, making it a promising nutritional approach. Lastly, cloves! Out of all the herbs I found, the cloves made me smile because they do wonders for the body that I had no idea about. It was the first of the herbs I had with dinner, and I really loved the smell of it. The taste sent chills through my body as I heated a small portion to drink for the evening. Cloves also inhibit bacterial growth and reduce the inflammation it causes in the stomach. I am very pleased to say that Larrabee Herbs and Health Center has played a key role in helping me take better control of my health. Putting this place at two stars for now for the cleanliness and equipment. It was a little bit more expensive than blink but I was willing to play the price because it was a 24-hour gym and it was close to my house. I did notice that the gym looked a little bit older and less modernized than blink fitness but I was happy enough to just find a gym close to my house. I noticed several things after being a member for about a month now. 1) Just tonight several hours ago, I brought my own water but half was full and I was going to refill it and I noticed the gym fountains water spouts had mold/rust on it. Being in the military and having lived in the barracks that have had mold in it it's really a health risk and can make someone sick. To have mold means that those fountains have been neglected cleaning. Anybody who has cleaned a water fountain would be able to notice that. 2) The gym equipment is relatively kind of old and like others said, not maintained enough. The treadmill looks old and I miss the blink fitness treadmills, which even included a built in fan. 3) I in the men's restroom, they have those portable hand dryers that are motion sensored, but they can't have motion sensored urinals and sinks? I hate touching things and nobody bothers to flush the urinal because you have to touch the handle so when you go to the urinal it reeks the of pee. 4. The most expensive thing I think is the personal trainer. The training sessions are once a week and over $100 I think it's $140 for a personal trainer, once a month. I think that's a little too much for once a week for a month if you ask me. I would have considered if it was $100 a month for once a week, maybe... I'm wondering why no one addresses the daily issue of guys using the mirror in the locker room (…read morelockers visible right behind mirror) and the mirrors that are like 4 foot in front of toilet stalls over the sinks for selfies on their phones and even setting up tripods to film themselves ( not sure how they aren't capturing others in these videos as we walk or dress behind them) though CFX website says this is not allowed. No signage in locker rooms and when I asked the manager if they have a policy against doing this he said no. Asked several other managers at their other facilities and no one said there was a policy forbidding use of phones or cameras in locker rooms. Seems pretty obvious they don't care about the expectation of privacy one has in a locker room / bathroom even if the selfie session unintentionally captured someone changing for example. And no corporate phone number available to members or employees to contact them regarding any issues. It comes across sketchy.when you email them with the address given by multiple employees, no response ever given. Honestly if it wasn't so convenient to visit I'd quit. Corporate shows lack of respect for its members.

I was disappointed because the store was still open during its posted business hours, and I expected to be able to order from the regular menu until closing time.
