North Riverside,…read more Thank you for letting me workout at your location, I like your industrial style. I felt very motivated and ready to warm up on the cardio and your equipment . It looks nice and clean, good looking gym you have. You have treated me very nicely and very helpful towards me, thank you for your services.

Putting this place at two stars for now for the cleanliness and equipment. First of all, I went to…read morethis gym because I was looking for a replacement gym because Blink fitness near Riverside closed down. It was a little bit more expensive than blink but I was willing to play the price because it was a 24-hour gym and it was close to my house. I did notice that the gym looked a little bit older and less modernized than blink fitness but I was happy enough to just find a gym close to my house. I noticed several things after being a member for about a month now. 1) Just tonight several hours ago, I brought my own water but half was full and I was going to refill it and I noticed the gym fountains water spouts had mold/rust on it. Being in the military and having lived in the barracks that have had mold in it it's really a health risk and can make someone sick. To have mold means that those fountains have been neglected cleaning. Anybody who has cleaned a water fountain would be able to notice that. 2) The gym equipment is relatively kind of old and like others said, not maintained enough. The treadmill looks old and I miss the blink fitness treadmills, which even included a built in fan. 3) I in the men's restroom, they have those portable hand dryers that are motion sensored, but they can't have motion sensored urinals and sinks? I hate touching things and nobody bothers to flush the urinal because you have to touch the handle so when you go to the urinal it reeks the of pee. 4. The most expensive thing I think is the personal trainer. The training sessions are once a week and over $100 I think it's $140 for a personal trainer, once a month. I think that's a little too much for once a week for a month if you ask me. I would have considered if it was $100 a month for once a week, maybe... I really hope this gym improves otherwise I'm going to have to look elsewhere for a more cleaner and better maintained gym. I took a picture of all the water sprout top floor and bottom floor:

Slim pickings on the shelves, and it only gets worse from there…read more Returns are a disaster. Twice now a cashier has processed my return at the current price instead of what I actually paid. Admittedly they did not read my original receipt. And the self-checkout setup is an embarrassment. One cashier responsible for handling their lane, customers and returns AND overseeing a dozen self-checkout machines simultaneously. When something goes wrong, they scream across the entire front of the store to locate the customer. Loud, chaotic, and humiliating for everyone involved. This is not an employee problem. This is a corporate problem. Cheap, understaffed, and completely indifferent to the experience of both their workers and their customers. Not returning until change is implemented.

I have been grateful for Aldi. I have gotten excellent products at Aldi for a low cost. I love…read moregetting a good deal on good products. I had a great-tasting orange here that I enjoyed as well as delightful tofu. They had great variety and a selection wide enough for me at the time. The store was organized. Items were well-displayed. There was a pleasant-appearing and congenial-acting staff lady who said her name was Marie. Her outfit looked awesome, and her hair looked fantastic. This Aldi has a great location, right on Harlem Avenue. The store itself had a great ambiance. The lighting and character of the aesthetics of the store visuals were quite appealing. There was a large parking lot. The area is even walkable. I would love to continue to have more good experiences at Aldi.
