I wouldn't even serve that coffee to a rabid junkyard dog with fleas and hantavirus it was so bad. To go from a perfect cup of coffee to this low grade mouthwash was shambolic, despicable, nasty. Why even drinking napalm mixed with kerosene mixed with agent orange would taste better. Really too bad. That has to be the worst cup of coffee I've had in years. 99 CENTS BUT ALDI GOT ONE…read more I was driving the down the street and saw this Aldi. I had no idea it was here and it looks like new construction. It only had one review and no photos, so I decided to change that. I actually needed corn tortillas and Aldi has the best corn tortillas from Chicago's local tortilla maker El Milagro. They are always fresh and typically will last a while in the fridge. The store is laid out like a typical Aldi. It's kind of like a mouse trap where you are forced to walk down that main aisle that is full of cookies and chips. I kind of close my eyes and walk through without getting sucked into junk food hell. As I searched for my tortillas, I went by the fresh veggies and fruit to see what they had on sale. Our house is very stocked up right now, so I didn't need to grab anything. I eventually found my tortillas and went to jump in line. Aldi does not have an express lane, so you just have to get in line and wait. The nice family in front of me took pity on me and let me cut in front of them. I thought that was so nice. I can not remember the last time someone let me do that. I told them thank you and it put me in a great mood. As we all know Aldi only takes cash, unfortunately my tortillas rang up with tax for $1.01. All I could think about was walking around with 99 cents in my pocket all day. The cashier took pity on me and covered me with a penny. I really like this Aldi. The cashier is super cool and the families shopping here are all really nice. I'm going to drive out of my way to shop here. Our world would be so much nicer if we all stopped and cared for someone else, instead of the "Me First" attitude that most people display.
