I did a quick Google search and found some parts on eBay. I tried to do the repair myself. But it didn't go the way I planned. It be like that sometimes. So then I did another Google search and found this place. Before I made a decision to come here I was doing more research to see if there's other places . But locally I found just one other. So then I made a decision to come here. When I arrived I was told systems repair would be two weeks. Plus I had to drop $50 just for them to diagnose it. And if I decided to get the repair the $50 will go into it. 2 weeks later I got a call to come and get your Xbox. Dropped another $70 and left a happy camper. You might say $120? I could of bought a used one for around that price. But who knows what type of condition it would be in. I needed this one repaired because it was repaired back in the day when it was still under warranty with Xbox and I boxed it ( stored away) for years. I had another Xbox 360 Slim that I did bring in right after, but the guys gave me a solid and told me that it was unrepairable. I didn't have to pay the $50 bucks to look at it. Because of its wifi and the only model DC it is expensive (used one sell on eBay for over $150). My amateur diagnosis with a multimeter and I thought a capacitor was bad. No other place in town even does capacitor/circuit board repairs. But it gets better! I told the owner the capacitor was bad. He said he would confirm and repair for $20. I provided him with just 30 minutes and returned to find the device repaired. He even diagnosed the part (yes I was wrong!) and showed me the varistor was bad. Part worked as promised. I'm especially pleased as I gave him a bad diagnosis to work with. Yes he has tons of electronics in his place, but those all provide parts, don't let that scare you. I'm sure my replaced varistor (a very uncommon part to have on hand) came from some of those electronics. A real mom and pop feel, quality workmanship and now my fan works, saving me over $130. A+

Since they had given me a fair expectation I wasn't surprised and now I know that I'll be shopping for a new one. It appears, because it no longer occurs, that I was accidently hitting the laptop's mouse box when typing which was causing all the print I'd typed to be swiftly highlighted and deleted. It was a disaster but after having the laptop for several hours during one day, I was assured by their technicians that the laptop wasn't dysfunctional. This gave me peace of mind. The office was clean and the work areas organized and well maintained from my view at the front counter. The people there were helpful and respectful when communicating with me. I think the only area that I might suggest to improve in is better more timely communication. No one was rude or anything like this, I just think that no more than 2-3 hours should pass before the tech's should phone the customer just to keep them updated on the status of the work; even if they are still doing diagnostics. Other than that, my exposure with this company was minimal but I would return to them again if I needed to.

The young lady working there had her dad on the phone, and he seemed to be guiding her through the repair. Unfortunately, the problem was never fixed. The screen started lifting, so I called around 8 PM, and he answered and told us to bring it back the next day. We did, but the same problem continued! We called and went back AGAIN, and this time he had the nerve to accuse my daughter of lying! At that point, we finally did what we should have done from the beginning and took the phone to Apple. Apple provided us with a written statement confirming that the third-party repair caused damage to the phone. Now the phone overheats and the screen goes black, problems we never had before! To make matters worse, he is now ignoring my calls. I want a full refund AND I want him to cover the cost of having Apple repair the damage they caused! It's unfortunate because I was simply trying to support a small local business, and this is what we get in return.
