We collaborated on angle and pitch In order to meet the City's height restrictions, and they accomplished it all without compromising the look that originally attracted us to the product. NOTE: While we consider ourselves to be savvy diy'ers, we chose to hire a solid contracting crew to put it together. This also allowed us to properly add a few tweaks where desired. We couldn't be happier. It has become our favorite conversational hang out space when we entertain outside...particularly at night with the doors fully open and the coastal air surrounding us. We were looking to build a small unit in our backyard as a home gym and after looking at a variety of sheds online, Cerca really took our breath away with their nautral wood forward designs. They are just so much more beautiful than anything else on the market. Working together with the design team, and the builder, we were able to configure our shed to nuzzle between our large redwood trees, and honestly, it just looks like it was made to be there. Working with Ohad and Thomas was a breeze, they made everything easy and fair, the couple of bumps in the road were quickly remedied and they really really care about customer service and they go above and beyond to get things right. It took me a year and a half to finally get my "complete" Cerca, and man, what a saga. First off, they missed a whole window in my order, and the door I got wasn't even the one with tinted windows I'd asked for. To top it off, there were massive shipping delays, and then I find out everything's made in China--which was news to me! Plus, the door they sent didn't even have locks, which was a big deal since it was supposed to be for my office. We had to get creative and have a locksmith fit a new lock. Fast forward six months, they send over a new door that actually had the tinted windows I wanted--finally something right! But, guess what? This door was narrower than the original, so there I was, patching up floors and drywall to make it fit. And after all that, half the windows didn't work. Talking to these guys is like talking to a wall. Neither Ohad, the big boss, nor Tomas, the project manager, seem to care or take me seriously. And the whole thing is made worse by the fact that everything's coming from China, which means delays out the wazoo, even around Chinese New Year. Thomas even sent over a manual in Chinese that didn't match my stuff, so I was pretty much left to figure things out by myself. Oh, and the kicker? The contract they made me sign says if we ever have to go legal, I have to pay for their lawyer and we can't even start without going through a mediator first. It's like they know their products have issues and they're just covering themselves. So, if anyone from Cerca Homes actually cares about keeping me as a customer and remove this post, please just fix my problems--and I mean fully fix them, not drag it out another year. Beware!!! This company is awful to work with. We loved the renderings and photos of the unit but had the worst experience with this company. We left our deposit for the welcome package. The package was $250 and stated to include renderings, a meeting with their designer, custom blueprints, a project manager, and a quote from their installer for the install and site work. Project Manager: We were assigned Davie Ann who was really challenging to work with. She lacked knowledge of the process and kept sending incorrect quotes. We received about 6 quotes, all of which were incorrect and highly unprofessional (spelling errors, half the page cut off, incorrect dollar amounts, etc.) The installer that they set us up with did not service the area we live in. When we asked about the blueprints numerous times so that we could go to the city to confirm that they would allow the unit and to get a quote for install. Every time we asked, she would insist that we leave a 70% deposit to be able to access these plans. 70% upfront of a $70k unit before you even see a drawing!!! She informed us that they would refund the money if the city did not allow it but then provided us with terms and conditions showing additional penalties of $1500 for cancellation + engineering costs. Payment Terms: The company wants 70% upfront (before providing anything but a 15-minute phone meeting and a stock rendering). They then want the remaining 30% before the order even ships. That's right, they want you to blindly trust them and pay 100% upfront before your unit even ships. If that's not enough, the terms and conditions of the contract are even more outrageous. You as the customer are responsible for the liability of the unit while it is in transit even though you have nothing to do with the shipment or delivery. Management: When we spoke to our salesperson Dave and voiced our concerns about the project manager that we were dealing with, he said he would relay the message to management. After 2 days of not hearing anything, I reached out again to be told that management was unavailable but that they refunded our $250. I would stay away from this company at all costs and recommend that others do the same. They are unprofessional and have terrible customer service. I would never work with any contractor that asks you to pay 100% upfront before shipment or delivery. read more

We started on a landscape renovation just prior to the pandemic and quickly figured out that we would need additional office space. When we started looking around at what was out there for "pre-fab" sheds there were not that many options and most of them looked like something you would buy to store your lawnmower in. Cerca sheds was the first brand we found that had a well-designed aesthetic with quality materials. We were one of their first customers and although there were some supply chain hiccups along the way Cerca did everything possible to keep us in the loop about timing and made sure that everything was done correctly (including at one point paying to drive the correct door hardware from Napa to our house when it was delivered to the wrong place). I use my shed as my home office nearly every day and I absolutely love it. The high ceilings and multitude of windows make it bright and sunny and somewhere that I look forward to going in the mornings. Buyer beware!! Everything about this product was sub-par. From the quality of the wood delivered to the delivery itself . Wood was delivered not pressure treated - literally raw wood. Much was unusable and covered in bark. Pieces do not fit together, windows never glazed and doors obviously hand made a very poor quality. Flooring was unusable and we had to buy our own. The only thing that was easy was our payment. We had wanted to champion this company but there is no way. The I my hood thing was the overall design, there is absolutely no ventilation. I take responsibility for not vetting better. Covid made it difficult, there was no showroom but beware. read more

Wow!! I have never seen any building built so effortlessly and to such high standards. They really have perfected and improved on what a home should be. To calling a shed is not just an understatement. It a subtle jab at the entire construction industry.
