I recently moved to the area, and I'm so grateful that I discovered her practice! Dr. Holder recommended Fraxel to treat some of the issues I had been experiencing. I have a fairly low pain tolerance, and she ensured I would be comfortable during the procedure (I've already been back for the second of three treatments...so she kept her promise!) I'm not only thrilled with the results of my treatments but also thrilled to be a part of her practice. Her energy and enthusiasm for her work, deep knowledge, and commitment to her patients are all remarkable. She also spent an incredible amount of time getting to know me before she said a word about my skin concerns. And when I sent one of my family members to her practice, they came away loving her just as much as I do. I wasn't surprised. :) I love that Holder was raised right here in Park Slope. It was clear from the first few minutes of our initial conversation that she cares deeply about this community and her patients. Dr. Holder is a gem--and she is right here in Park Slope. I'll never go anywhere else. :)

Here's what I've experienced at this practice and why I recommend it so wholeheartedly: - I first came to Dr. Holder's practice in 2023, wanting to try botox for the first time. It was a new experience, and Dr. Holder listened carefully to understand my expectations and then patiently talked me through everything that I should expect. The way she directs her team before, during, and after procedures instills so much confidence, especially for first time patients. - At the beginning of this year, hormones were wreaking havoc on my skin and giving me with terrible acne and rosacea. Fed up, I sent Dr. Holder's office an email, and they agreed to see me right away. They were so responsive and reassuring. Also, I really appreciate that Dr. Holder doesn't try to sell a custom line of products -- she just thoughtfully directs you to a routine using good old fashioned French pharmacy products and prescriptions when needed. - I've seen Dr. Holder for peels and laser treatments, and I'm just so grateful for how thorough and detail-oriented she is in each of these procedures. She takes prep and after care very seriously. She looks closely at the treatment areas, takes her time, and talks through the treatment so that there are no surprises or unexpected discomfort. Truly amazing bedside manner that instills so much confidence. - Dr. Holder's team is just as amazing as she is. All of the staff are communicative, warm, and hospitable. They're also incredibly smart, detail-oriented, and thoughtful during procedures -- hardly a surprise, but such a rare experience in this city. Since I started seeing Dr. Holder, my skin is noticeably brighter, my complexion is more even, and for the first time in my life, I feel like I have some control over my skin sensitivities. I'm so glad I found this practice, and I hope Dr. Holder never retires!

I was told they didn't know because there is still 5 (!!) people in front of me. I asked them what was the purpose of making an appointment if it's first come first serve. Not having a better answer, the receptionist said - 'you know you always have to wait at doctors' office. Yes. I know that. I do expect to wait 10-20 minutes. But not hours at time. That is WHY we make an appointment weeks in advance. So i left without being seen by the doctor! Other than those 5 patients inside, there were 4 more patients standing in line outside. People arrange their days around appointments. I feel like their poor time management is extremely insensible towards their patients' time and needs.

My son was in for simple mild acne. We were not seen by medical doctors- but by a physicians assistant- then I was charged as if it was seen by a full MD! Pure fraud. In fact, the PA made me take a nail clipping on my own- he refused. That should have been my red flag. As I am writing this, I am on the phone dealing with harassing bills the Derm Specilsists keep sending me . Between my copay and the insurance coverage, we have paid them over $500. And they still want more for services with misidentified providers. Over $230 bill more for a negative from the lab and a trial tube of Tretonoin. Do not use them for your medical needs. Go to a proper doctor at a hospital. I made the mistake of thinking this minor issue could be dealt with locally and at a new place with ease. What a dupe.

It negatively affected me so bad to the point where strangers would point out my acne. Around June- July, I decided to seek medical professional help after dabbling in random skincare routines I naively believed would cure my acne (ones I found through social media). These skincare routines/products that I found and used were curated by sellout social media "influencers" that didn't know one thing about how the skin really works. I should've known better. They worsened my acne and emptied my wallet. I saw the PA Emily Jiang once a month (about 3 times?) since summer 2020 and she heard me out. She is very knowledgeable about the skin anatomy and the reasoning behind my acne. She prescribed me with a regimen. Initially, this regimen did not work for me and I communicated that with her. She continued to patiently hear me out and adjusted my regimen as needed. Fast forward to Spring 2021, my skin has never looked so amazing and flawless! Even better than my teen years. This is all thanks to the PA, Emily Jiang! She's extremely friendly, compassionate, intelligent, and super accommodating especially during these pandemic times. I definitely recommend this place a million times to anyone struggling with dermatological problems!!!

Experienced, precise,…read moreprofessional, and kind - she is an anomaly in the medical aesthetics field which is often driven by profit over patient care. I had no problem scheduling an appointment. Her secretary was knowledgeable and open about her own experiences with treatment. Her office is beautiful and serene. I felt very comfortable during the entire visit. I researched doctors thoroughly and when I found Dr. Jeanniton, I read multiple articles and even listened to podcasts on her approach. Dr. Jeanniton was honest about what I could achieve and the cost of specific treatments. Each face is different and she has an individualized approach. At the end of our meeting, she told me that neither fillers nor botox made sense for my specific goals and did not recommend it. She also provided education on the skincare products that I am using and what is a waste of money (spoiler: the majority of women's skincare is all marketing and not based on real results). I also used our time to ask questions about her surgical procedures in case my situation changes down the line. In my view, it is worth it to see a surgeon like Dr. Jeanniton when it comes to something as important as your face. I am a frugal person but will pay for excellent medical care. There are many other clinics offering discounted botox and fillers that look awful. I have had many friends get discounted botox and their face is not balanced. This is why I sought out advice from Dr. Jeanniton. She did not disappoint. I look forward to seeing her again in the future when sunblock and retinol are no longer meeting my specific goals.

Unfortunately I walked out looking worse than when I walked in…read more I explained my desire to get eye bag surgery in the future, and the Dr. told me that she specialized in eye surgery...with that being said, I asked for "Botox". We discussed the 11s, forehead and crowfeet. She said that she wanted to make it look natural so she used Botox, as well as something called Dysport. She used the words "painting" and "movement"- and I agreed, thinking she knew best and with the fact that she was an eye surgeon, so I felt ok about her suggestion to use a different product than the one I had asked for. I went home and as the week progressed, I contacted the office and sent photos of a result that was to put it mildly, "horrible". The doctor had her assistant email me back saying that the botox, (no mention of the dysport), was settling in and we would address any problems at my next appt in a week, where adjustments could be made. Anyhow, things did not settle, they got worse throughout the week. Now I am unable to smile because when I do, the eye bags are propped up with even harsher looking wrinkles underneath them than I had before. They appear accentuated anytime I smile. Making me look older than I did when I came in. Her answer was that apparently what she thought was not very much Dysport, was obviously too much...basically an oops situation. Essentially it deadened an area around my eyes, but when I smiled, all of the other lines lifted the bags up and propped the bags up higher onto my cheeks, due to the crows feet area not being able to move. The solution that she suggested sounded dangerous. Offering to put a dot of botox into my lower eyelid, so that my eyelid "won't lift up as much" when I smile. I couldn't believe that suggestion was even given. Botox in my lower eyelid?? No thank you! I refused, and she said that it was all that she could do. I also mentioned that my eyebrows and upper eyelids looked like they dropped and she said she did't think so, so she didn't offer to fix that either. I left about to cry. I had paid more than 1k and wasn't offered a sorry. I could have gone to someone who was not a doctor and got botox ..the product that I intended to get, for cheaper and I probably could have had my brows and eyelids corrected for free. I'd think twice before going to this office if you have issues with eye bags. Perhaps the Dysport is a safe product for some people , but the "painting" and movement, can do more harm than good. I even googled it and it said it should't be used around the eyes..it was intended for frown lines. If an expert in eye surgery didn't know that, it's a bit of a red flag.
