For tenants entering negative reviews, remember that this is a property management company, often it is your HOA Board Members or the landlords are making the decision to accept/fix your maintenance request, not the management company. The property managers are not the final decision maker on your requests or complaints, but they have to deliver the bad news.

During this process, we continued to be in communication with Cindy regarding our roof in our attic. Our ceilings were damaged, holes all over and nails sticking out. We were told twice originally, it would be take care of. After we were told it was not their responsibility. They don't care at the fact they caused the damaged and we paid our rising HOA fees and yet it's not their responsibility to fixed the damaged they caused!

We have dealt with a noise coming from upstairs for 3 months and no one will come to our apartment to address it because it's occurring after hours. That's when the noise is on and it runs all night. We need our carpet stretched so we can clean it and when they inspected they noted it. Nothing done yet. We now have dogs in the building which is brand new and our halls and elevators smell foul and they urinate on the floor with the owners not cleaning up after them. Our laundry and dryers went up with no notice, our interior stairs are filthy, as well as the rug in the lobby. This place has gone downhill fast and I've lived here over 9 years. I won't even go in the pool or exercise room like I used to. It's just not being taken care of properly. Really sad and stressful. Don't rent from them.

Mind you, the window hinges are almost 100 years old and were never previously repaired. Thanks Angie and Damone for being greedy landlords. As another consolation, I paid a $300 move in/move out fee when I moved in and now Dan is saying I need to pay another $250 to hire a company to observe and take photos/videos of my move so any damage I'd documented. Somehow the $300 I paid upon move in is not longer applicable. I was in a shoe box with no parking or storage for $2500. If it wasn't for my lovely neighbor and other residents I met in the building I would not have moved here in the first place. Also, I had a guest park in the front driveway. We signed in the guest parking book, we put our phone number and unit. When the concierge arrived, the concierge called the wrong number and had my friend's car towed. The woman in the office and the concierge couldn't have cared less, I ate that cost and paid $400 to get my friend's car back. It's honestly so disappointing. Hope this helps someone!

Never said anything about the paint. The guy who runs it was mad when I put my notice in. I think he just charged me to retaliate against me. Renter be aware. The roach issue is the worst part.

There were dirty walls, holes in the walls, hair in the bathtub, and even food left in the fridge. One closet smelled strongly like cat urine. I reported all of this right away and was basically told to just leave it in the same condition when we moved out. They did nothing to fix the issues. Fast forward to move out, and now the owner is trying to charge us $1,350 for cleaning and painting, even though the place was not clean or freshly painted when we moved in and the wall issues were already there. What's worse is Real Property Management has not been helpful in resolving it and won't provide the owner's contact information, saying they're selling the house. That doesn't help tenants trying to dispute charges fairly. They also charge a $41 monthly fee for air filters that they only send you after you file a maintenance claim for. The only bright spot is Kelly on the phone, who has been kind and pleasant. Unfortunately, everyone else I dealt with was not helpful and made everything feel like a hassle. Maintenance was also a headache. Our built in microwave didn't work when we moved in and they initially refused to fix it. I said I wasn't going to be responsible for it and would choose the cheapest replacement myself, and suddenly they were able to send someone out quickly. That kind of back and forth is not professional. To top it off, the owner was supposed to remove a bed before we moved in and never did. We ended up having to disassemble and remove it ourselves. This was a hassle during moving day. We lived there over two years and it was constant problems. I would NEVER rent through them again.
