They seem to know all their regulars too. There is limited seating in the cafe (~three tables inside, and 2 small ones outside), though it's one of those places great for your grab-and-go. In the city where it costs a fair bit much (for me) to dine in a cafe on a daily basis, 3 Little Monkeys is pocket-friendly (affordable). They do breakfast deals ($5) and lunch deals ($8? $8.50?) - an item off the food cabinet (for breakfast, only the ones on the top row and sweet case) and a small coffee (get a size upgrade for 50cents). With a whole alley full of little cafes offering different food+coffee options and deals, it is tempting to try every one of them. Albeit, once I am hooked, I will always go back. And I have. I used to trek a fair distance to get to Atomica, and was very excited when I moved near by - my hungover walks to get my strong latte's were a lot shorter! But if you go to a café for a friendly barista and some great service, Atomica may not be the place for you. The high turnover of staff means you rarely see a familiar and friendly face, and to be honest, sometimes they'd prefer to chat to each other than actually serve you. But despite all this, they make one helluva coffee and have a pretty sensational menu too.
