Communication is horrible from every department and they do nothing to correct it. We pay a monthly invoice for maintenance, and it gets done whenever it's convenient for them. We gave them 6 weeks notice (which they should already know our inspection date since they have to do them yearly) for our annual safety inspections and they still did not get them done on time. This is the second year in a row they have not had this done in time. Customers should not have to continually request the service they are already paying for.

I called Morningstar to have the lift removed after his passing and was told it could be over $500 to remove and dispose of the track and chair. OK, not doing that. FF to present. The chair sat for a couple of years, and the batteries died. I called Morning Star again to request service and battery replacement. I was informed they didn't service my model anymore. Very disappointed as they were stellar when I used them previously. Still trying to get batteries replaced so I am able to use my basement space. The chair lift is in great shape, just needs power!

I am a very patient person, but it finally wore off after facing this unnecessary waiting game. I highly do not recommend them.

Completely Lacking Commitment to Customer Satisfaction…read more We had Applied Elevators out to fix a residential elevator recently and found their commitment to customer satisfaction completely lacking. We were hoping for a company that could restore our elevator to its proper, functioning state. The work they did complete was great. The technicians on site were respectful, quick and knowledgeable about that particular part of the job. But later when we discovered that the elevator did not work as it did before, the technician refused to even come out and look at it. His telephone response to our issue was not only unacceptable, but highly unprofessional as well. After a few hours of my time, I was able to reprogram our elevator with very little effort - only the effort to research this elevator - something I am not a trained professional in dealing with. My honest opinion is that he could have had it back up and running within 30 minutes, given his professional background, had he even been slightly concerned with a happy customer. We will not use this company again.
